View Full Details of Queens Meadow Care HomeStaff are always friendly and energetic. They communicate and treat residents with respect and kindness, and keep a sense of humour whilst caring for all residents. They show and demonstrate compassion, with residents and family members when needed. The home itself is clean, warm and homely. I would like to see more activities. However staff do try to organise stimulating environments but they do have limited time due to workload. It would be good to have members of staff designated to organise activities and entertainment.
Sorry it's taken a while to write a review been a very hard year. Mum passed away May 2024, she thoroughly enjoyed staying here with you lovely lot, she especially loved all the activities and trips to the park, she loved the animal visits, especially the service dogs, she loved this so much, thank you for your love and care she received.
The care staff at Queens Meadow have provided the best care for my mam ensuring she is well taken care of at all times. I now don't worry as much as I used to as they all go above and beyond in their general day-to-day care never failing to bring a smile to my mam's face. My mam has nothing but love for each and every one of them. I can't thank them enough for continuing to make her feel special every day.
Lovely friendly staff always go above and beyond for my grandad.
Very caring staff and helpful.
Well cared for and helpful, meeting his requirements.
We visited a friend for the first time after she entered the home. On arrival, we were impressed at the overall cleanliness, staff attitude (nothing seemed to be a problem to them) and, from first arriving, we were quickly guided to our friend. In conclusion - top marks!
I can't thank the care home enough, since my grandmother was moved to Queens Meadow Care Home, they have looked after her so well, ensured she has had all she needed and encouraged some independence and social integration with other residents again. They have also been a massive support and listening ear to the family and that has meant more to us than I can ever describe. Thank you so much to all the staff.
The care and attention given to my brother in Queens Meadow is exceptional! The team are amazing! So friendly and helpful! Everyone is very welcoming when I visit and keep me updated with how my brother is getting on.
The manager is one of the most professional and caring people I have met. She shows great leadership skills to the staff here, who have a great deal of respect for her. I leave my husband knowing he is getting 5-star treatment. Thank you to everyone, would recommend to anyone.
From walking in the door to visit my dad, I was made to feel welcome. The care shown to my dad is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are homely and very clean. The staff are very friendly and treat my dad with dignity. They take time to speak with him and he enjoys having a laugh with them.
So far, very good. All staff are very caring and happy to help.
From my initial phone contact, I was pleased with the response to my queries in a friendly and helpful manner. Upon first visiting Queens Meadow I found it well located in the town with good parking facilities and once inside received a warm welcome. I was introduced to various members of staff, all of whom were friendly with smiling faces. My aunt has a wonderful room with a large bay window overlooking the garden, just perfect. The dining room and lounges are attractive again with garden views and they also have a homely atmosphere. I have no hesitation in recommending Queens Meadow Care Home.

The manager and staff, I couldn't ask for anything more, they go above and beyond every day, nothing is too much trouble, my grandad feels happy, comfortable, and does nothing but smile.
