View Full Details of Westview Lodge Care HomeI can't praise the staff enough for their professionalism and above all their sheer kindness. They did everything they possibly could to make my father comfortable and created a very homely atmosphere. They were even very kind to me as a visitor. It was very reassuring to know that my father was being checked on throughout the day and night and that if he needed anything or had any discomfort the staff would immediately deal with it. The staff have a very demanding job and they do it with never ending cheerfulness and kindness. They are amazing.
The staff have looked after Dad since having a stroke. They have all been amazing, so kind and caring. Can't thank them enough.
I have heard people talk about West View Lodge being awful. I cannot praise every single staff member enough. They have all respected and looked after my mother amazingly during her 2 weeks on the assessment wing. My mother has nothing but praise and gratefulness for all their efforts. I would certainly recommend staying here to everyone.
When I was told I was coming here, I though oh no I can't go there, but on coming here I've realised what a lovely place it is. The staff from the highest to the lowest have been so kind and helpful and have helped me in so many ways.
Where do I start? I can't fault the staff, they were brilliant. They all deserve medals. For looking after my father-in-law they were all brilliant, always had a smile even when my father-in-law was giving the staff some abuse. All I can say is thank you for looking after my father-in-law.
Some days it was a bit difficult to get parked but as soon as the front door to the home was opened you were met with a big smile. No matter who opened the door. Everyone from cleaners to management and nursing staff were courteous and happy to help. My dad can be difficult (I know) but they all just took it in their stride and kept on smiling and chatting to him. Everyone who works there deserves a medal as big as a dustbin lid! Thank you all for being so kind to my dad and his family.
All of the staff from cleaners to Westview Lodge manager do a fantastic job looking after all the residents, in the lodge there are always staff members there calling in the rooms and asking if that person is ok or do they need anything done or getting. I would highly recommend Westview Lodge to anyone. Thanks again Westview Lodge for everything you all do, keep up the great job you all do.
The care for my husband goes beyond, nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly people, amazing staff, they make you so welcome and part of a family, made my husband so relaxed after his ordeal in hospital.
My experience at Westview Lodge Care Home has been very good. Staff are very helpful and kind and always do their best for you.
Probably getting the best care possible, given the available staffing levels.
Westview Lodge is a nice friendly place, I enjoyed my time here. I enjoyed the meals and found the staff very helpful and friendly.
My 88-year-old mother was admitted to Westview Lodge Care Home after a fall and a period in the hospital. Mum had good physiotherapy which helped in her recovery and the staff were patient and understanding. The other care home staff were wonderful. Mum was treated with kindness and warmth. She loved the food and misses it!
My mum is very happy with the level of care, the management and care staff have been excellent. I can't fault them at all. Thank you to you all.
I have been coming into Westview Lodge regularly over the past few months, to spend time chatting with some service users who have no families/friends the home is a lovely place to be around. The staff are always very happy, and helpful. They are always cheerful and very welcoming.
The care team at Westview Lodge Care Home have been fantastic while my grandmother has been receiving rehab at Westview Lodge Care Home. All the staff have been amazing. One member of staff has been fantastic the whole time my grandmother has been at Westview Lodge and she is a credit to the home. Thank you so much!
The care staff were lovely and always have a smile on their faces. My dad was very nervous to come to a care home but settled in straight away. The management team were lovely and all enquiries were dealt with fabulously. I could not recommend this care home enough.
My father was reluctant to go to Westview Lodge and I was worried that they may not have been able to manage his behaviour, as he previously had delirium. However, the staff and management were great with him, the care and compassion he received was wonderful to the point that when he needed respite he chose to visit Westview Lodge.
The persons who come overnight with a torch to inspect the patient, should be made aware that in opening the door with the handle and shining the light, should remember to close the door with the handle instead of allowing the door to snap shut, thus waking the patient from sleep! The sign 'Westview Lodge' should be positioned on a platform within your grounds, at a height which can be easily read from a car, as at the moment it is suitable for pedestrians only when taking the dog for a walk!
My husband was well looked after by all the staff. The rooms and corridor were clean. A good choice of good quality, well-cooked meals. Dignity always respected.
Whilst my dad was residing in Westview Lodge he was treated with the utmost compassion and care. Our family were kept informed regarding decisions related to my dad's care. My dad described this place as his home and he really enjoyed his time here.
