View Full Details of Dalby Court Residential Care HomeHusband came in for a weeks respite care. He was well looked after and enjoyed his tie int he home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and I was put at ease knowing my husbands needs were tended to.
My nana was upstairs for 3 weeks for respite/rehab following a 4 week stay in hospital. She'd had such poor care in hospital coming out with multiple problems to her skin and diabetes. I was met with care and warmth every day of her stay - the leadership team liaised with the doctors and got her the help she needed and she was looking and feeling better within 2 days! She developed cellulitis whilst here and this was dealt with promptly. The facilities are great, I loved seeing her with her hair done by the hairdresser! Nana enjoyed the food. Nana was getting miserable towards the end of her stay as she was missing home but staff always made time for her and she was respected and well looked after. I can't thank the staff enough for their help getting my nana back to herself. I'd have no problem recommending this home to anyone needing this care. Keep up the great work!

Since being here at Dalby Court I have had the best care from the staff and I get on well with most residents. As an elderly (86 year old) man charged with having sole care of an older (97 years at death in November 2024) man suffering from dementia I needed all the help I could get. This I got from Dalby Court Residential Care Home. He asked to go into this care home and I found it to be ideal. He was at all times well looked after and when my own health was poor I had no worries regarding his care. The staff went beyond their normal duties to help and I am grateful for this.
My father has settled really well at Dalby Court. The management and staff have been excellent very supportive and understanding. I am happy and confident that my father is receiving compassionate care, and he is very happy to be a resident at Dalby Court. Well done to all at Dalby Court.
From Australia. Only in the UK for 2 weeks. Sister's room could be improved. I understand she is being moved to a new room. Would be nice to see my sister taken out for a wheelchair walk or other excursion in a bus or the like.
I live alone and required cancer treatment so I booked a respite bed for the period of treatment. It was so good the management and all the staff were so supportive and kind that my stay was like being on holiday. My daily visits to the hospital were helped by staff organising my meals and on return making sure I was comfortable and attending to all my requests. My bedroom was kept very clean also the en-suite. Well done Dalby Court. Thank you.
My Mum has now been in the home for over a year, and in that time she has been very well supported by all staff. I am always met with smiling faces and kept well informed of all mum's needs and care. Mum's room and all other facilities are kept spotless. She is included in many of the activities which It's good for her social skills/needs. When Mum first went into the home it was very hard for my dad, after having a word with management we came up with a plan for dad to visit and take mum out a couple of times a week. I cannot praise the manager, office staff and carers enough a great team of people. We recently had an incident where my dad took ill just outside the home, the staff were amazing they called an ambulance, and sat with him until he got treatment. They then reassured my mum for the rest of the day until they had news that he was on the mend.
My mother is a resident in Dalby Court it has been a difficult time with decisions that have to be made for her safety. I have had so much support from the carers and the clerical staff. Important events have taken place in the family ie a family wedding. They advised me what to do. The staff ensured that my mam was up and ready and presentable for her to enjoy her day. She totally enjoyed her time with family and once tired we returned her and the staff supported her on return. These times are important to us as a family and are happy she can join in. She can't remember the day but enjoyed it at the time and we have the photos to last forever. Thank you team at Dalby Court.

He also loved that his laundry was done straight away.
