View Full Details of Middlesbrough GrangeManagement of this home do not follow correct procedures. My husbands care plan was not up to date and was only corrected when I flagged it up. We found ourselves in the position that my husband was evicted from the home with no eviction notice apart from when they tried to give me a backdated notice which I refused to accept. No support was given when we had to find new accommodation. All this points are absolutely proven to be true. Still no apology given. Would i recommend this home?? Absolutely not. The care home is in direct need of refurbishment. There is no activity coordinator or activity programme to help stimulate the residents. Residents are currently all on one floor and are a mix of residential, dementia, complex needs and respite care. I would have given no stars but that option wasn't available.
Always above and beyond, always friendly towards residents. They are not just a person they are a family. Nice homely feel, special mention to one staff member, always above and beyond and always got time for my dad and residents.
My mam has been in Middlesbrough Grange since February 2023, the staff instantly put our mind at ease and made mam so welcome, the staff go above and beyond, they all do a marvellous job and have lovely caring natures, it's now May and mam is so happy here, I visit every day and I see how hard the staff work, they do an amazing job.
I have always found staff very helpful. The home and residents are very clean and a lovely atmosphere to go into.
My parents had to use Middlebrough Grange for a week respite whilst they had a new heating system installed. The staff were fantastic really care for my parents. The food was really lovely. I felt they were really safe in the home. I will defiantly recommend and if needed in the future would use this home. Many thanks.
Our father spent the last few months of his life at Middlesbrough Grange. We couldn't have asked for better care for him. All staff went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and looked after. The meals, we always thought, were lovely with snacks in between even ice lollies in the summer. It made his stay like home from home. Thank you.
My mother has been a resident at Middlesbrough Grange for over 10 years and in that time the care home team have been exemplary in the care of my mother showing great professionalism and compassion. My father was also admitted to the home for a short spell for end-of-life care and was given the same professional and compassionate care.
A well-managed home that focuses on the individual resident and their needs. Clean, respectful, safe and welcoming. Good communication.
My father first went into Middlesbrough Grange when I went on holiday, as he could not look after himself. As his Alzheimer's got worse he had to go in Middlesbrough Grange full time. He went in at 95 years of age. His last 3 and a half years of life were very good. The staff were wonderful and they made sure his last few years were safe and comfortable. I can't praise them highly enough. My sister and I could visit him whenever we liked and the staff always made us feel welcome.
The food is excellent, the staff have been amazing. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me. Everyone has been very friendly. I am going back home soon, but I will miss the home, staff and all the other residents. I will definitely be back to visit and help out with upcoming events.
I honestly cannot thank this care home enough for looking after my mam for the last 3 and a half years; she was there until sadly she passed away. The staff have always been like one big family to me, always there to help, and nothing was ever any trouble to them regarding my mam. The care was 100% the best.
My mum is looked after and speaks well of the stay who are always helpful and pleasant. Thank you.
I find my time at Middlesbrough Grange has been fulfilling and happy.
We are very happy with the food, the staff and the room. I have no negatives, it's all positives.
All staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of activities available throughout the stay. Good menu selection for meals. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our next visit is already arranged.
My brother was recently in need of an emergency placement in a care home. I was recommend Middlesbrough Grange through a friend and I was not sorry. The home manager made the whole process seamless. My brother has no immediate memory due to his mental illness and dementia, the staff were absolutely brilliant with him, he has been so well looked after and has told us that he wants to go back. If that wasn’t enough, he was only supposed to be in there for a week but due to a family emergency they let him extend his stay for another 2 weeks. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff here. The care he received was amazing and I would certainly recommend this home to you if you are looking for care of a loved one
Mum lived in Middlesbrough Grange for almost 8 years before sadly passing away last week. Throughout that time the staff have been so very friendly and accommodating, I know Mum was happy and well cared for but the special care they give her in her last days was a credit to them and made a very difficult time easier. Thank you to all of the staff.
This was the first time I had used the "pod" for a visit. It was fantastic, safe and warm. A very good solution to an obvious problem of the clients and visitors meeting one another.
Staff have taken great care of my father over the past few weeks to help him get back on his feet and gained weight.
Middlesbrough Grange care home is an excellent care home. It has coped with this awful year brilliantly. The staff are amazing and always go above and beyond. My dad seems happy and settled.
