View Full Details of Windermere GrangeI would like to thank Windermere Grange so very much. We are so very grateful for the loving and caring support for our Dad. Words cannot express our gratitude. Thank you everyone, so much, everyone is fantastic, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Always there for my Dad and family, going above and beyond.
An amazing care home! Both in-laws have dementia and they’re treated as individuals and with care. Both settled well and see the staff at friends/family. The staff are always accommodating and give us family members the time and care we also need.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, their care of my husband is very good.
My husband and I came in here, he needed 24-hour care. I am also disabled and was caring for him at home with carers. It was a very stressful time for us and our children and both sides of the family were very worried. Our time here has been wonderful. All the staff have been terrific. We have felt relaxed and cared for. There is nothing they won't do. We recently celebrated our son's wedding with his in-laws. The staff were so kind and made very welcome.
My father was a resident at Windermere Grange from 2016 until his passing in April 2023. He was extremely well cared for during this time. As English was not his first language, communication was a challenge, but staff went above and beyond to communicate with him. He was always happy, settled, and content knowing he was safe and well taken care of.
Very hot day and my aunt wanted a shower, all staff were busy but one carer took her to give her a shower and then blow-dried her hair. The care given was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Above and beyond.
My uncle transferred from a previous home and since he has been here he has been well looked after. We are extremely delighted with the level of care he receives. The food is amazing and the cleanliness is second to none. His room is ideal and comfortable. All of the carers and management are excellent.
So different to the previous residential home I was in. Nothing seems to be a problem. Food is really good, maybe too much to eat. The room is kept nice and clean. The staff have been welcoming and friendly.
Very friendly staff. Very clean. My Aunty feels a lot happier in this care home.
This care home is fantastic. I had my in-laws here and it was first on my list for my aunt. I wouldn't put her anywhere else. The staff, from carers, management, cleaners and cooks are 100%. I know she will be well taken care of here. If my time came I would also come here as well. Well cared for home.
Windermere Grange is a very friendly care home. Our visits are very good. We get a good welcome from the staff. It's very clean and very safe for the residents and the rooms are very good. Always look forward to visiting.
My mum, aged 89, had a fall and was admitted to hospital before being taken into the home for six weeks of rehab/physio. I cannot praise enough the standard of care Mum received from all of the staff. Really treated Mum well and allayed her fears. The food, accommodation, in fact, everything was of an exceptional standard. Mum is home now thanks to the loving care she received. Thank you so much for looking after her.
My mother was in Windermere Grange Care Home for rehabilitation after leaving hospital. I cannot praise the facilities enough, especially the staff. Every member of staff was amazing and really looked after her with care and humour. They made her stay enjoyable and also made myself and other family members welcome.
I had resided at Windermere Grange Care Home for a couple of weeks before going home for Christmas, I can't fault the staff and management for all the support I received during my stay, food was good and entertainment was available. I would recommend Windermere Grange Care Home to friends and relatives, thank you for all your support in moving me back to my home town.
Clean tidy good service. Reception taxi return. Colour TV. Important for memory loss. Toilet and cupboard facilities and plugs. Parking outside. Garden view.
My mother who suffers from Dementia has tried several care homes, including the top 5* places. I always say the most important thing for my mother and I are the staff and the interaction they provide. At Windermere Grange, the staff excel in care and dignity. I would recommend Windermere Grange for peace of mind for everyone.
My son has settled very well in Windermere Grange Care Home.
My mam was in Windermere Grange for rehabilitation care. Following a stay in the hospital. We were made very welcome. The carers in the home could have not been any more helpful. They listened to what my mam wanted and the care she received was excellent. The carers went above and beyond to meet my mam's needs without taking away her independence and more importantly respected her dignity. On admission, the home manager stayed almost 2 hours over her finish time to make sure Mam was settled and we understood all the facilities the home had to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend Windermere Grange to people who need care for loved ones.
My mam lived at Windermere Grange for fifteen months following a decline in her health. The home was well run and we were kept informed about her health. The accommodation was pleasant and the staff were excellent. Although my mam was quite a shy person, they encouraged her to join in with social and craft activities, which she enjoyed. The management bent over backwards to accommodate my brother coming up from London to visit her when he could. Most importantly, the staff attending her were superb.
Very reassuring. My Aunt immediately looked and felt better. The staff always say hello and are welcoming. The food looked plentiful. Usually, you can park near. Very clean on all our visits. Able to anticipate and address needs. From the first time, the manager met My Aunt we were all reassured.
