View Full Details of The Beeches Care HomeMyself and my children visited my aunty at the weekend, we are from Essex. I was very emotional seeing her but I was very impressed by the care the staff give. They allowed me to stay with her all day, made me hot drinks, even offered me some lunch, I saw her lovely room all perfect. She loves the music on the TV and loves her food. Seeing someone you love contented was a great relief to us all. Thank you ladies for taking care of her and all her needs.
Imagine being informed by medical staff on New Year's Day that your elderly mother cannot stay another night in her own home, and you need to find a care home immediately. We were then given a long list of local homes to call. The first two that we called could not help, as there were no senior staff working that day. A third said they would call me back, but never did. I struck gold with the fourth call to The Beeches Care Home. I could not even finish explaining the issue when they said just come immediately. We were so relieved, and delighted. We were greeted at the door when we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble, and never was during the 17 night stay before mum sadly passed away peacefully, with a member of staff holding her hand. Every single member of staff is caring, considerate and thoughtful, and we cannot praise them enough for what they did for mum and us as a close-knit small family. The home is clean, and efficiently run with an air of calmness, and the rooms are lovely.
The Beeches is a friendly care home where carers treat residents with kindness and respect. It is under new management this year and is being well-ked by an experienced and proactive senior team. The appointment of an amazing activities coordinator means there's lots going on to break up the days for residents and events for families to get involved in too.
I find the staff pleasant, welcoming and efficient when dealing with health problems. Residents are encouraged to join in activities and watching visiting performers. The rooms are good overall, but the en-suites need modernising to a better standard.
I have just recently lost my dad in there. He declined so fast and had to stay there for approximately 4-5 months. All the staff were brilliant with him and his care was exceptional. I can't thank them enough and I know he was happy there. They now have my mother there and she is obviously grieving and they are taking very good care of her. Thank you everyone.
On visiting today 18/10 to see my mother-in-law, I was pleased to see a coffee morning in aid of breast cancer. I saw it was promoted on The Beeches social media account. Really enjoyed coffee and cake. The new social media page is a great way to see what's planned for the future and see pictures of previous events like the pirate day that happened, loved the parrot pictures and looked great. Well done to all involved.
I feel that the care and attention given to my father is excellent. As I live more than 200 miles away, I visit every few months. Over the past few months I feel that with the change in management, I notice an improvement as I walk in with regard for cleanliness, more activities etc. Without exception all carers do a magnificent job which is greatly appreciated.
Mum is a long-time resident and as a family, we cannot praise the staff enough. The home is clean, friendly, nothing too much trouble and I never worry about Mum's care. We are so grateful Mum is so content.
Found the staff most helpful. Couldn't do more for me or my husband. They explained things very well. Delighted with the home and staff, including managers. Good facilities.
The staff are friendly and caring, helpful. The premises are clean and well-run.
Caring, nothing is too much trouble and good communication from staff. Dad loved the staff popping in to see him.
My mom has been a resident and for 4 months now the very first time we arrived we were met with smiles and friendly faces. They really do care and it's good to know that my mum is very happy in her new surroundings and that when we go to see her mom is very well looked after and always with clean clothes on and very clean herself. When we leave we know mom is cared for and we how we would want for ourselves.
Well maintained. Staff are thoughtful and courteous. My care is great.
When my nan went into the home I was really worried, however, when I went to visit and saw her room and met the staff my worries were alleviated. The staff are fantastic with my nan. The level of care and compassion they give is brilliant. My nan loves the activities and looks forward to them, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we as a family can relax knowing she is taken care of.
I was recommended the home by a friend whose parents had both been cared for here. The staff have been marvellous settling Mum in. During this COVID-19 crisis, the staff have been amazing, reassuring families and keeping the home virus free. They have kept the residents busy and happy in a time of great uncertainty. They have tried hard to maintain a connection to the family for the residents. The care my mum has received has helped ease my concerns and I have confidence she is safe and having her physical and emotional needs met.
Would highly recommend this care home. The staff are absolutely fantastic they couldn't do more to help my nanna if they tried. They looked after my nanna and her family when visiting extremely well always made to feel welcome. When she was on her last few days we all stayed 24/7 with her and again I couldn't fault they always asked if we needed anything, if we were all comfortable. It is just a fantastic place from the start to the finish.
My Nana moved into The Beeches 3 weeks ago and her health declined rapidly and she sadly passed away, the care my Nana received was absolutely fantastic and I cannot thank the staff team enough, they are so compassionate and caring my Nana was treated with dignity and respect right until her last breath and I am forever grateful for that. They made the most unbearable moments bearable and looked after the family with so much love nothing was an effort. Thanks to the amazing Beeches team.
After looking at 5 other care home in Stockton, The Beeches stood out by a long way as being the right choice for my father-in-law's cae and future home. The staff management are amazing, totally dedicated and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have complete confidence in leaving my father-in-law in their capable hands.
I came home from Canada on September 9th to find dad in hospital. We soon realised dad was going to need 24hr care. We visited 5 care homes in the area and felt The Beeches was the best home by a long way to fit his needs. The staff from the management team to the handyman have made to move to the home. A welcoming and comfortable experience. I am confident we have made the right choice for my father's care and our peace of mind. I can't praise the staff enough. Wonderful.
My sister likes The Beeches, the staff are all friendly and all talk to her and make her feel at home when she first goes in and gets her settled. They try to keep them active and to keep their brains working. She likes the food and says it is good.
