View Full Details of Elton HallTotally dedicated kind and caring staff who stop at nowt to make residents comfortable. Their kindness and hard graft is amazing. Frankly, they need a medal or trophy as they give their all on very long shifts. Very lucky residents who have the best you can get.
First I would like to thank you for the improvement to the Hollies where my wife resides, also downstairs it's also nice to visit. But outside the front of the building is a total disgrace. A total mess. The facade wants a facelift. Rubbish from the upgrade strewn about in the flowerbed full of weeds. The drive is full of holes and the entrance is poor putting off potential clients. It certainly needs to be done ASAP.
I was sad that my mother had to go into a care home but there was no other alternative. However, having visited her from afar I was so reassured and delighted with the accommodation, the care, and the staff. The manager and her staff were all hugely friendly and busily tended to the residents in a genuinely caring manner. The accommodation is very nice, warm and spotlessly clean. The communal rooms are quite spectacular, with well-maintained and pretty gardens. The rooms are nice, well equipped, and provide individual wc and sink facilities. It was reassuring that there was a programme of daily maintenance in place. I came away feeling much happier about my mother's circumstances as I know she is safe, has good company, and will be well looked after.
My father moved to Elton Hall for respite. The staff made very welcome and made a fuss of him. The care staff treated him with dignity and kindness at a time when he was most vulnerable. A big thank you to Elton Staff who made our family welcome. The environment could do with an upgrade as it is a little outdated but clean.
My sister is well cared for and, more importantly, safe. The staff are lovely, caring and kind. The food is lovely, much better than I make myself!
I would like to say, on behalf of my friend who was a resident briefly at Elton Hall, a big thank you for the aftercare received. My friend was only briefly there, over a weekend of residence, as a matter of emergency. She was then sent to hospital for further treatment. Despite the fact the stay had been brief, the staff were very helpful to me as a friend and interested in my friend's ongoing situation, trying to locate property and finding a means for it to be sent on. They also got involved in discussions with the hospital regarding her need for extra support and concerns about her wellbeing, all of which was not compulsory but in fact offered out of genuine concern. Well done and thank you. It’s good to know people are not only well trained, but totally right for the job and prepared to try to help make a difference.
My wife was a resident at Elton Hall for a few months, suffering from dementia, until she passed away recently. I cannot fault the care she received from all the staff, who go out of their way to make the home friendly, happy, warm and entertaining for everyone. On every visit, I was greeted with smiles, cuddles and joy - a warm spirit everywhere. I cannot thank them enough.
The staff and carers at Elton Hall have been magnificent during their care of my brother, who sadly left us at the end of September 2021. My brother requested that he spend the last weeks of his life in their care as opposed to entering hospital and they did everything in their power to ensure he received the very best of care during this difficult time. He called Elton Hall 'home', and he loved his last eleven years there, amongst his friends and the management and staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending Elton Hall as a place to find peace and comfort in one's latter years.
I have really enjoyed myself at Elton Hall and will continue to. The management is first class, and the staff provide excellent care. I, myself, have got an (ABI), and the staff cater to my needs.
Excellent, brilliant, extremely well. Brilliant - out of this world. Wouldn't be anywhere else. Management excellent, help me so much.
It's a very cheerful home to be a resident in. As the carers end-over backwards to help you in a polite respectful way. The sandwiches, cakes and dinners have been excellent lately and such a good variety. My life changed for the best and it's the safest I have ever felt in Elton Hall! To everyone who's helped me in Elton Hall!
With the remarks I crossed in this review, I speak as I find as first impressions mean a lot to me. On entering Elton Hall, members of staff introduced themselves to me. As it was near tea time, I was escorted to the dining room. There was a selection of hot or cold food, every day. After tea I was shown my ensuite bedroom. The facilities were first class. After unpacking I was shown the bath and shower rooms. On my first full day the entertainment staff introduced themselves. Any problem you have, the management solve it. Staff are first class.
To all my dear friends Elton Hall is a wonderful place It puts a smile on my face The staff go out of their way to be kind It gives me peace of mind It makes me feel safe knowing that the staff Give us support always It is home from home and you know that you are never alone lots of activities to do It gives something to focus on for me and you No wonder I like to come to Elton Hall For a rest For its simply the best Hallelujah Praise the Lord Love and God bless Amen
Very nice period and property. Lovely position in a village location. Great staff/management all listen to any of your concerns and will act on them accordingly. The care received for my parents is outstanding and the dignity shown is very humbling.
My father has complex health needs and when he was very unwell in October, the care he received by the staff was second-to-none. I could not have been more reassured he was in good, concerned and caring hands and it is a tribute to the staff's care and attitude towards him that he pulled through his most recent health scare.
My mum and dad have been in Elton Hall for about 18 months and I have nothing but praise for the management and staff. They have been made to feel welcome and the staff have gone out of their way to look after them as a couple, despite some difficulties. They have a very nice shared room and have settled in well. They are kept clean and well dressed and despite mum missing her salads, the food is good. I visit regularly, I am always made to feel welcome and kept informed. I get contacted if there are any issues and communication is very honest and clear. This is important to me as I live the other side of the country. The bedrooms and living areas are kept spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There always seems to be something going on with entertainment and outings. Whilst I would not have chosen to put mum and dad into a home, I could not imagine a better place for them. I know they are safe, comfortable and very well looked after.
We found Elton Hall after a poor experience in a former care home. An internet search for CQC ratings turned up Elton Hall. A viewing followed and it was very welcoming. On arrival with Dad it was instantly like home. The team are absolutely brilliant with Dad and they recognise his increasing needs. They also have great social events to help interaction.
I visit my sister every week and I find the staff are very friendly and helpful with the residents and caring. She is very comfortable and it's a pleasure coming to Elton Hall.
I couldn't praise highly enough the management and staff. Elton Hall is excellently run. I was impressed from day one, they obviously care a great deal about all of their residents.
I was placed in Elton Hall by my social worker following 2 periods in hospital. I had been sectioned at a mental health facility and have been diagnosed as having Korsakoff's Dementia and being Bipolar. The management and staff have been very understanding of my condition and have supported me in my road to recovery.
