View Full Details of MillbeckI visit my friend on a fortnightly basis, all the staff from the managers to the care team at millbeck care home amaze me they are so friendly, helpful and very compassionate nothing is ever too much trouble, my friend has lived at millbeck for a number years now due to a deteriorating health condition, it is such a comfort to myself to see my friend happy and healthy but more importantly very well cared for from the staff, my friend states the meals are wonderful with plenty of choices and very tasty I have to agree as I myself have stayed for meals by pre booking before visiting my friend the day before, my friends room is comfortably decorated with a spacious room and an excellent view of the garden and maintained to the highest of cleanliness, activities are very well planned and displayed throughout the care home with the staff doing some excellent fates throughout the year, I would highly recommend millbeck to my friends and family if they ever required a care home facility.
Millbeck is a warm and friendly with lovely staff. The food is good and rooms are cosy. I am really happy with the care my very good friend receives. I feel she is happy there I am made to feel welcome on every visit, really good activities and outdoor area.
I have a very good friend living in Millbeck and I have not seen her looking so happy & healthy in many years. Staff at Millbeck treat her with dignity & respect at all times. The home always smells lovely & fresh at all times, the activities are outstanding & staff go above & beyond during fetes at Christmas & in the summer, always involving residents. From management to house keepers, they are a fantastic team.
Millbeck is such an amazing care home when my nana first went into Millbeck I was so sceptical and worried but I've never felt such contentment with her in there the staff are gorgeous and so welcoming we always feel at ease especially with the manager we know her already we're so lucky to have Millbeck. My nana is so happy every time we go see her.
Overall a very nice care home but the rooms are getting shabby. Feel they are due some redecoration. Also if we could know the door code to get in would be better instead of waiting outside in the cold for someone to open it. Also my mum says needs more variety in the food options.
My father is very happy at Millbeck. He has an excellent relationship with the staff, who are all patient and kind. As a visitor, I find the staff polite and helpful. They take a genuine interest in my father and do everything possible to make his life in Millbeck a comfortable one. He also tells me that the food is usually excellent and he can have a glass of wine with his meal!
In recent months and after a number of medical challenges Mum decided to give up her own home and moved to Milbeck Care Home. We were concerned that Mum might not settle having been in her own home for so long. In reality, Mum has settled in really well and has been made to be very welcome. All the staff have been brilliant in supporting Mum to use all the facilities, take medication and join in the social events - no complaints about the food too! We are very pleased with how everything has gone over the last months and it's great to see Mum settling in so well.
I first knew of Millbeck when a lovely lady I cared for in her own home moved there. So when another lady I cared for told me she was going into a home, I immediately recommended Millbeck. I'm always made to feel welcome by all staff. The lady I visit now has a lovely room withe everything she needs. There is always a member of staff popping in to ask my friend if she needs anything.
Since moving to Millbeck, Dad has enjoyed the comfort, care and social opportunities that the staff work so hard to provide. I enjoy visiting and seeing him so settled, and leave knowing he has a great level of care and safety.
It is a lovely care home. Staff are kind and caring. Residents are all treated with respect and dignity. Visitors are made welcome and there is a good range of activities which run throughout the week.
My father has been a resident now for almost 2 years, the continuing service by the staff is outstanding. My dad suffers with dementia but this doesn't stop the staff showing wonderful care and consideration at all times. At times the staff are under resourced but the service doesn't seem to diminish due to the quantity of the employees. I, with my family visit most days and see first hand the challenges they have. I commend them on their enthusiasm and professionalism. Well done all!
Millbeck is a wonderful care home, all staff members and management are first-class. My father is looked after with great care and skill. Nothing is too much trouble for any staff member. I sleep well at night knowing my father is in the best place. He has dementia and the care and dignity shown on a daily basis is fantastic!
Very friendly, caring place. My mother refers to the staff as friends, not just carers. The food is excellent, plenty of choice. Spotlessly clean. All the staff go above and beyond helpful. The various activities fill the days.
My dad was a resident at Millbeck Care Home in Norton. This home was very different to any other care home I looked at for Dad. It felt like a "real" home rather than a care home. It has a lovely atmosphere with extremely caring staff who go above and beyond. It is obvious that they form strong attachments to the residents and genuinely care.
Excellent staff, 10/10. Lovely place, very clean. High recommend. Well-fun, friendly, how all homes should be run.
From the moment my mother walked into Millbeck she was made to feel welcome and cared for. Despite mother's demands to go home every day (dementia), the staff comforted her and reassured her with great patience and understanding. I would recommend Millbeck to anyone needing a caring environment for their loved one.
Millbeck has been a wonderful home for my mother after she became unable to live independently. It is well-run, tries very hard to be friendly and accessible for residents and visitors and really does seek to provide a home. The food, cleanliness and care standards are excellent and the staff helpful and loving.
Throughout Mum's stay in Millbeck, all staff have consistently demonstrated great care, compassion and empathy. At all times, they have supported and encouraged her while patiently respecting her views. When Millbeck identified additional needs they always listened to and worked effectively with the specialist medical teams, the District Nurses, the local GP surgery and her family. As Mum's needs increased, Millbeck welcomed her back from the hospital into her calm peaceful home.
Mum-in-law had accessed other care homes, the difference between them and Milbeck is unreal. At Milbeck she is treated with dignity and respect, her care is person-centred. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are hard-working, professional and friendly and caring. Managers and team leaders are approachable and helpful. Mum-in-law is given lots of choices for meals and they are presented in a lovely manner, she says the food is nice. The family are delighted with the care she is receiving and are so grateful she was offered a place.
My father continues to receive excellent care at this wonderful care home, where everyone works together as a team to give him the very best support he could have. I visit him regularly and have seen incredible consistency in all departments; everyone seems dedicated to give their best, which is great for residents. He is happy and content in their care, and I am extremely grateful for all they do.
