View Full Details of Greenlane HouseMam has been living at Greenlane for almost 4 years and during this time her dementia, mobility and communication have declined greatly. The wonderful management and amazing staff have adapted her care and go above and beyond to make sure her every need is met. She is looked after with dignity and love and I cannot say enough how grateful I feel that Mam is a resident at Greenlane House. Choosing a care home for a loved one is one of the hardest things, but I would wholeheartedly recommend Greenlane House.
I can't fault the home. Everyone is wonderful. My mum sometimes struggles with where she is and the staff are great, they make Mum feel she is special. They always make me feel that she is okay and cared for.
It is now 9 months since Mam was taken into Green Lane House and we couldn't be more grateful for the care that Green Lane gives her, she is happy, content and we cannot thank everyone there enough for their kindness and compassion, they are all amazing people.
My mam has been Greenlane coming up to 2 years now. Her dementia and mobility are progressing but her standard of care remains high. The staff are brilliant. She participates in a lot of activities especially music which she loves. We love the get-togethers with the families and have made some lovely friends. Greenlane was definitely the right choice.
A very nice place. Everybody very helpful. Could not find any faults at all.
The main positive of Greenlane House is the care staff they are so good with the residents, so friendly, and fun, and create a lovely atmosphere. The bingo activity I saw today was great. Not sure how many activities happened but this created a lovely fun atmosphere which was great to see. (Ticked ratings from what I know, ones I didn't have enough information on I can not say it isn't excellent).
Our mum has recently been in Greenlane House. Her time there was wonderful. The staff and managers were brilliant. She was happy and well looked after, they had a good understanding of her condition and treated her with great respect. We would not thank them enough. Well done, Greenlane House.
Excellent facility. Every aspect is inspiring. My mam's anxiety has subsided completely. She is very happy and content, as are we. Brilliant care, lovely people.
I was really worried about my dad going into a care home but all those worries were set aside. Greenlane House is homely, the staff are absolutely brilliant, nothing is any trouble, you are always made to feel welcome when I go to visit. Dad was a little unsettled when he first went in, probably different surroundings! He is now very happy, he likes to laugh and joke with staff, loves the banter. I would certainly recommend Greenlane House.
I am generally happy with the quality of care for my husband who has been at this care home for over a year now. From the outside, the facility might look a little tired and a bit of a jumble of assembled buildings - it is certainly not a purpose-built care home - but my husband's room, on the ground floor, is very nice and the facilities at his disposal are more than adequate. The staff are excellent and there is no feeling that they are simply going through the motions. They really go to great lengths to ensure that the residents feel at home and loved and secure.
My Mum has recently been admitted to Greenlane House as a resident. I would just like to say how impressed I have been by all the staff who work there - nothing has been too much trouble and they have gone out of their way to help my mum settle into her new home. The staff have always greeted me and my family with a friendly smile despite all the stress they must be under with the Covid pandemic. The manager in particular has been exceptional. I also think the addition of an activities co-ordinator has been a very positive idea.
I am writing this review exactly one year on from when my mother came to live in Greenlane House because she needed 24-hour care and what a year it turned out to be! Despite the enormous difficulties they have had to face because of Coronavirus restrictions and rules, which were and probably still are ever-changing at short notice, the staff have been amazing. My mother's personal care in an atmosphere of cheerful resilience to such a tough situation is exemplary... and the food is excellent too!
