View Full Details of Cold Springs Park Care HomeMy mother in law has been a resident at Cold Springs Park for the past 8 years. My experience of the service provided has been excellent. We are kept up to date on all aspects of her care. Any very minor issues are dealt with immediately. The care given from all staff is delivered in a very caring and respectful manner. The food provided is of a very good standard in both quantity and quality. The accommodation is kept very clean. She is always very clean and has clean clothes on. Very pleased all round.
My friend is a resident here. I come to visit fortnightly. They are well cared for. The food always looks good with plenty of choice. He has a nice room which is always clean and tidy. Activities seem to have a good balance.
Always made very welcome. Impressed and various activities. Premises spacious, light and airy.
It gives my sister and myself such assurance that our mother is in a safe caring environment. My mother has been a resident for 2 years now and it has become a home for Mum, the carers and Mum have really got to know one another.
My mum moved into the home in December 2024, staff are kind and knowledgeable. Seniors all know what is going on and are always there to speak to. All staff we see are helpful. Hairdresser is lovely and my mum enjoys her visits.
My parents have been at Cold Springs for most of this year - they are settled, well cared for and safe. After years of juggling carers at home I can say that life is much better for them and for me. I know I will get a call if there is a problem and that we will resolve it together. In the meantime, my parents are cared for by dedicated, kind and skilled staff in a place close to their home. I am grateful to everyone at Cold Springs who helps to make life comfortable for those who need extra help. Thank you.
My Mother was in the care home for 2 years until her death in June. from the laundry ladies, cooks, cleaners and care staff we could not fault any of them. The care they showed to us was superb. Just a shame that someone from management sent us this 6 days after my Mother's death to fill out. How insensitive could someone be, could not even wait until after the funeral. Would I recommend, yes to the staff, no to certain management!
The staff are exceptionally friendly and approachable. The care provided is "joined up" (i.e. all team knows individual situations). Kind and always professional, clearly a well-managed team!
The care is second to none, my father has dementia but is treated with compassion and dignity. All the staff are kind and professional. Every member of the team makes a point of greeting every resident when they see them in the corridors etc and it makes for an immensely welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The activities coordinators put on a good range of activities (some group and some individual) and a huge number of residents happily join in. The management team is superb and I know that my Dad is happy, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. All the staff work as one coordinated team and I am delighted to recommend Cold Springs to everyone I meet!
The whole care package was wonderful from cleanliness of accommodation, keeping clothes washed and returned, personal hygiene, and dignity. The caring but fun attitude of staff from all depts was brilliant, which must be hard at some times - but we were always greeted with an update and smile when we visited, or contact via the phone. I would highly recommend Cold Springs Park to anyone.
Since my sister moved into Cold Springs her quality of life improved immensely, she was given the care and support she needed by all the staff looking after her. She began to enjoy her life again taking part in the home's activity sessions and felt safe and secure, being treated with kindness.
I was very happy with the care my cousin received during her stay at the care home. The staff were always friendly and welcoming when we visited and treated her with kindness and respect. After a very difficult two years, following the tragic death of her son, it was reassuring to see her happy and settled in her new surroundings and beginning to show some interest in things again.
Following a short time in an emergency care placement, my mother moved into Cold Springs in August 2023 directly into the dementia unit. From my first visit I soon realised that the standard of care was second to none, I can honestly say that from the care home manager down to the cleaning staff were all genuinely caring and supportive to all residents when we visited. My mother recently entered end-of-life care and we were determined to allow her to stay at Cold Springs where the staff treated her with a very high level of respect and dignity until she passed away. We would certainly recommend Cold Springs and a huge thank you to all the staff who not only supported and cared for our mother but the support that they gave to all our family.
My Granny is very happy in the home. Thank you to all the staff who care for her.
Mum spent the last few months of her life at Cold Springs Park Care Home. We just breathed a big sigh of relief when Mum moved in. Life had been fraught before, we were worried and Mum was unhappy but at Cold Springs, the calm, relaxed atmosphere, the wonderful care and the lovely private and public rooms made life so much better for Mum. As visitors, we also felt very, very welcome. As Mum approached the end of her life, the care she received was even more tender and thoughtful and we will always be so grateful for that. Thank you so much.
Very fresh and clean. Lovely day staff and my mother particularly liked one carer in particular on night shift. He was wonderful to her. I would also like to thank the activities coordinator. She kept the residents entertained most days. Works above and beyond.
Mum arrived at Cold Springs feeling anxious, depressed and negative about life in general. We’d had a very difficult few weeks trying to enable her to stay in her own home, but it became obvious she needed more help. Here we are, three weeks down the line, and Mum is like a different person. She laughs again and is enthused by activities that take place at Cold Springs and about the fact that she has new friends to chat to at meal times. She says the carers are all lovely, and the food is great. Thank you, Cold Springs, for making Mum happy again.
I come to visit my granny once a week and she always seems so happy and well card for. The home is always clean and tidy and there is always a friendly atmosphere. I feel very welcome and I'm so glad my granny feels safe and happy here.
Following an unsettling time at a temporary care home, I was hesitant when Mum was given a permanent place at Cold Springs Park. However, it soon became obvious that Mum was happy, settled and, most importantly, safe. The staff are caring and supportive but also encourage Mum to keep as much independence as possible. The activities are great to keep Mum entertained and it is lovely to see Mum socialising and interacting with the other residents. I feel content knowing that Mum is enjoying life again.
The home and staff are excellent, everyone is very friendly. Mum has settled in very well and is happy here.
