Had the best of care. Very friendly staff and lovely meals.

Over the last 12 months, my husband has experienced two periods here in an NHS intermediate care bed. On each occasion, he has been given as much care and attention that he needed. The staff have all been extremely supportive and reassuring to us both in these difficult times. They look after some poorly patients and despite the many demands placed on them, it is clear that they really care about the job that they do.

The time I spent at Ashwood Park on the nursing unit, I received the best care I have ever received in the nursing profession. They are all such amazing, caring and kind people who work so hard. If I could stay longer I would and I look forward to volunteering once I'm well enough to do so.

Our dad received the best care from Ashwood Park, the staff are amazing. The family cannot thank them enough. The only issue was the cleanliness of the room, not the public areas.

My sister was made a permanent resident at Ashwood Park Residential & Nursing Home in November this year (2024). She has settled in very well due to the staff at the home being very patient and caring. The food at the home is excellent, the care is excellent. Everything is done with the residents coming top of the list, all in all a lovely home.

My experience here has been very good. The care I have received has been exceptional. The staff are very caring, helpful and pleasant. The food is good (but too much for me). I have no complaints.

My husband spent a year in Ashwood Park Residential & Nursing Home. I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness and care. Everyone from the manager, the carers, kitchen staff, cleaners and laundry could not have done any more, right until his death. I cannot thank them enough.

I would never have considered residential for my grandfather anywhere else. The care and support from the staff at Ashwood Park has always been exceptional. All the staff always go the extra mile and I am very happy knowing he is well looked after, safe and secure.

My mother was a resident in the Willows wing of Ashwood Park Care Home for over 3 years until November this year and she had moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease. The staff are very kind, thoughtful and attentive and they built up a very good relationship with my mother over this period, providing dedicated care for her until she sadly passed away. As her physical and mental health declined over time, her care and support needs were met and any necessary equipment was put in place quickly. As a visitor, you were always made to feel welcome. The care home is maintained to a very high standard. It is a very pleasant and safe place, and the residents are content. The food and general catering were excellent, and the tea trolley was never far away! The care home management has always been extremely quick to respond to any questions we had as a family. In my view, the establishment is run very well and we are very pleased that this is where our mother spent her final years.

My mam has experienced a lot of trauma including fractures to her spine, pelvis and ribs. She has started walking in Ashwood Park after hospital staff said she never would, this is due to the care and support she is receiving here. They truly care about everyone and try to ensure all needs are met. Fantastic bed and staff, makes you feel at home and welcome. Amazing what they are doing for my mam.

Since Mom has been at Ashwood Park the care that has been provided is at a high standard. Mom is happy and content and has no concerns, the staff are approachable and will go out of their way to help. The establishment is run well and management do a great job.

My mother was brought into Ashwood Park following a fall at home. The home and especially her room was very clean. The staff have been friendly and helpful throughout her stay. I can't thank the management and staff enough for what they have done.

Despite her loud and often abusive responses, your staff have reacted admirably although the lady in question stays much the same.

The management and staff are always helpful. The nurses who attend have to have a lot of patience under the circumstances.

Possibly the best nursing home I've ever been in. The staff are very professional but more importantly caring. The food is excellent with a good menu. The management team are very professional at doing their job. Overall assessment 10 out of 10.
