View Full Details of Barchester Meadow Park Care HomeWhen a certain member of staff (which I won't name on here) speaks to a nearly 97 yr old with such a foul attitude is absolutely disgusting. This was infront of my mother who was visiting so I dread to think how she speaks to residents when visitors are not there. Telling my elderly grandmother who has dementia can not retain information that it's disgusting the amount of dirty laundry she's making. Also that it's ridiculous the amount of incontinence pads she was using. This was all said in an abrupt manner, she was spoken to after my mam reported it but my concern is how many residents does she do this to that can't speak up? I will take this higher if I ever hear or see anything again. Other than this one member of staff I can't complain about the rest as they are all fantastic just a shame one bad apple.
Very good care for my wife over the past three years.
My Grandad is thriving at Meadow Park. Moving a loved one to a care home can be stressful, but it was the best choice for his well-being. He enjoys his independence with support from caregivers as needed. He takes part in group activities that keep him active and engaged. I am grateful to the staff for making his transition smooth and for creating a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home. For anyone thinking about this care home, I highly recommend it.
Staff are very helpful, friend and caring towards my dad, go out of their way to help my dad. Gets shaved and washed. Always has clean clothes. He loves the food and the staff.
Both parents are in Bedlington. Both are happy and well looked after. Staff are brilliant, patient, kind and supportive. No problems, great choice of meals. Always helpful and supportive. Great choice of care home which has been a tough call for them both.
My mam has been in Meadow Park Bedlington for almost 5 years and she has always received excellent care. She was put on end-of-life at the end of January 2024. However, she is now doing well again. I attribute my mam's recovery due to the exemplary care from all the hard-working dedicated staff. Across the care home. Even if my mam only has weeks left to live, I know she is in the best hands. My family and I will be forever grateful to everyone at Meadow Park. Thank you.
Since moving into Barchester Meadow Park Care Home, Mam has made the most unbelievable improvement. I cannot thank the staff enough. Six weeks ago, I thought we would lose her and here we are visiting Mam in the most comfortable and happy surroundings. She is vibrant, chatty and full of life again. Has made new friends and enjoys her chats with all the staff. Meadow Park has brought my mam to life again with their thoughtful, caring and experience. We have our lovely mam back, all thanks to the manager and all the staff. Thank you just isn't enough.
All the staff have put so much effort into making this an amazing Christmas for all the residents. The full monthly timetable, the activities daily, the food, the fair, and the parties. It's all an amazing time. They have amazing meals with chats that let them talk about their past, learning details about each resident. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for my mam, making her come out of her shell and truly feel comfortable.
My mum received the best care I could have wished for. Caring staff, good food and very clean. She was also treated with dignity and extra loving care during her last few days.
Pleasant two weeks of respite care after leaving the hospital.
My mother has been in Meadow Park Care Home for two years now. I have to say the care she gets is second to none. I feel she is safe and very well looked after. The staff are caring and always cheerful. There have been two special events recently, an Oscar day and a fifties and sixties day, great work, thank you.
Good efficient staff who help with my father's needs. I am always kept informed of any incidents that occur. Thank you for your continued support.
I find the staff are very professional along with being a friend to the residents. My mother has been here for a year now and although her dementia has got worse in that time I feel she has the best quality of life that is possible.
Always very welcoming. Staff are exceptional with care, knowledge, relationships with residents and family members. Safe and secure which gives families great peace of mind.
High standard of staff results in great care.
My friend is quite happy here but quite lonely at times she said she feels isolated when in her room she does not like to mix or sit in the communal lounge. The staff are all very nice but always busy, she really likes the food and is complimentary about the staff
My mother has been here since February, and the care and attention she has received have been amazing. She is one of their oldest residents, but they are helping her to join in with everything. They always keep me informed of any issues. Totally recommend Meadow Park. An excellent team, and I would be happy to make a recommendation to anyone who asked me.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of my mother while she was in meadow park for two weeks respite care. Staff were very caring and all her needs were catered for. Thank you.
My brother was recently living in Meadow Pawk but he has just sadly passed away. I would like to thank the care staff and management for the amazing care they provided. I would 100% recommend this care home, top quality.
The person I know is extremely good at their job in the care and attention that is given to the people they care for. In my opinion, it's very hard to define one person because they all do a wonderful job. Nothing is ever too much for your staff to do. It's a pity the chef is not included because she is a great cook and the food she provides is excellent.
