View Full Details of The Pines Residential Care HomeMy Mother who is blind is having short-term respite at the Pines Care Home, she has had nothing but high praise for all the staff and said the food is delicious, and her room has an ensuite bathroom both of which are very clean and comfortable with plenty of space to put all of her belongings. She also loves to be outside in the beautiful garden areas. She feels very safe and happy here.
Everyone was great, kind, understanding and accommodating. It's bad enough leaving your parent in a home. At The Pines I quickly knew my dad was being looked after well. Staff make plenty of time for everyone and are kind and caring. Thank you for making his stay easier for myself and my family.
Mam stayed for respite while I had surgery. She was really well cared for and as happy as she could be for being away from home. Any problems were dealt with quickly while still giving her dignity and respect. Extremely helpful when her stay needed to be extended and the staff kept me informed. If mam needs respite again I would be more than happy for her to stay at The Pines again.
I was very reluctant to come into care right from the first day I was welcome and felt safe, and I am supported. The staff go above and beyond. It is like a home from home.
This visit and previous visits I have always found my friend happy, content and dressed lovely. The staff are always helpful, kind and obliging. No problem to recommend.
My friend seems very happy and content, always clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
All staff go above and beyond to help residents and their family. Staff always happy and interacting with residents. Premises always clean and tidy. Such a lovely place to visit. I visit three care homes and The Pines is the best by far. Thank you for everything.
Recently decided to return to the community. Management and staff have encouraged and supported me. I have lived here dome six years and I would not hesitate to recommend The Pines to anyone.
Home is cosy and staff are very down to earth yet still professional. My mam loves them all. She always enjoys the food and praises it often. I couldn't have asked for a better care home as she was determined she wasn't going in one. She's clean and her clothes are always clean. The staff are fantastic and supportive to my mam and myself. I couldn't recommend it more.
Mam settled with no bother when she came into The Pines. Friednly staff nothing is a problem to them and the food is exceptional.
I cannot fault The Pines Care Home or the staff.
Nice small care home, but lacks a room for visitors to spend time with residents without having to spend time in the bedroom with no room for visitors, or encroach on other resident's lounge area.
Attentive staff, particularly senior carers. Person-centred. Professional management takes into consideration daughters' feelings and concerns. Highlighting collaborative working with all external agencies. Keeping family members up to date.
Very professional care staff, management and the whole team.
Overall I found the home friendly and like a home from home, my mother is content here, she thinks the staff are very nice. I think the staff are helpful and do their jobs efficiently while stall having a friendly attitude towards visitors. I have no complaints but if I had I'm sure they would address it properly.
The Pines is a small and pretty care home. I love walking up the garden path towards the front door, especially in the summer when the roses and flowers are out. It is a pleasure to see residents sitting in the conservatory also enjoying the garden. They always look well cared for and happy in each other's company. The care staff are highly trained and also very friendly. It is brilliant to see how well they can communicate with the residents including those suffering with the most severe dementia. My relative has received much kindness and consideration there. He says it is his home.
Since our first day in The Pines, we have been overwhelmed by the gentle, caring kindness afforded to us by the brilliant staff, nothing is a trouble to them and they carry out their duties with patience and care. We are lucky to have every one of them.
My mother was a resident until she passed away at the beginning of October 2022. I can't praise the home enough. Excellent care, excellent staff with excellent support to family. I highly recommend this home to everyone looking for a home.
The care and support my aunt has received on admission to The Pines, during difficult times, has been outstanding. One to one during isolation ensuring she didn't feel lonely. It's lovely to see her happy and settled, finally! Staff are friendly and competent in what they do.
My wife went into The Pines on 6th October 2020, Covid rules being in place. She was greeted by three staff members, and from that very first day, has been well looked after and included in everything that takes place. The staff could not be better. My wife is safe and happy, which is good for me too. I have been able to window visit three or four times each week. The dedicated staff are the key to all of this. Many thanks.
