View Full Details of Hepscott Care CentreMy husband went to live at Hepscott Care Centre after an incident at home I soon realised it was impossible for me to meet his needs, and most importantly I could not keep him safe. All of the staff have been exceptional and they have got him to smile again. We now spend quality time together and I am no longer afraid for his well-being. The team assured the residents they are no trouble at all and that nothing is a bother for them (even us visitors). They treat everyone with respect, kindness, smiles on their faces and a reassuring voice. My hubby and I now have a future together thanks to all who work tirelessly at Hepscott Care Centre.
Staff are very caring toward residents and very friendly. They are gentle in their communication with her and ask for her choices rather than making decisions for her. They involve her in activities and suggest she sit with other residents in order to engage in conversation. They are kind. The room is very sparsely decorated and cold during the day as the curtains are very thin and not lined. The wardrobe is not that stable and could topple on a resident if the doors are pulled rigorously. There is only a chair to discourage guests to her room. Her personal bathroom supplies keep disappearing from her en-suite and her clothes are not returned from the laundry.
My mam has been at Hepscott for a couple of months and is settling in well. The staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. When we have had an issue (washing of missing items) it has been resolved to our satisfaction.
My 94-year-old aunt has been a permanent resident for 6 months. She is very well looked after and cared for. The staff are all really lovely and they treat her with dignity and consideration. The management seem to have a real commitment to providing a safe and comfortable environment with regular activities and events for both residents and relatives. The home is bright and welcoming. I've stayed and had lunch with my aunt a few times and the food is delicious. I can't thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness towards my aunt while doing such a physically and emotionally demanding job. It's obviously more than a job to them but a real vocation.
While maybe not the best in appearance, Hepscott Care Centre is a safe and friendly place pf residence where my mum is well cared for. The staff are dedicated and caring and treat residents with warmth and respect.
Second occasion to use the facility. Have been impressed with the standard of care from the staff. Compassion and a friendly, reassuring manner shown to my father and myself. Covid safety measures adhered to. Understanding of Dads needs. Dad was clean, well-fed, cheerful and relaxed when we visited. All enquiries were dealt with promptly. We would be happy and reassured if/when Dad needs further care at the care home.
My mother while not happy in care is well looked after. As she needs to be in a care home I am very happy at how she is treated and looked after. A big thank you to the staff.
In my opinion, my sister received proper care and attention at all times. I am very happy with the environment she is in and happy with the staff, food and care she receives.
My sister has been a resident for 6 months. During which time I have visited regularly and I have always found her to be cheerful and well groomed. All her needs have been met adequately. I have always found the staff to be helpful.
My mother has been a resident of the Hepscott Care Centre in Morpeth for a number of years. During that time she has always been treated with the utmost care and attention. The staff continue to carry out a sometimes difficult job in a very humane and professional manner. My mother is content, which says it all to me4. Well done to all concerned.
I have been surprised and pleased with the standards maintained by the staff at Hepscott Care Centre. The atmosphere is very friendly. One of the most important aspect of the care is the attention to detail, however small.
I have always had a warm welcome on my arrival. Staff always say hello. I am always informed if needed to be on any changes. He always enjoys his food and always drinks in his room as he prefers to sit in there. They always check on him. He is happy so that makes us happy.
My mother is well cared for and very happy living at the home. The staff treat her with dignity and respect.
Overall, everything is excellent.
Friendly welcome by staff on arrival. All areas very clean and rooms although small and cosy. Food is good and plenty of variety, most importantly, staff we have met show caring ways. Only negative is limited parking within the grounds.
Clean and tidy. Helpful staff.
Sometimes I feel staff aren't always taking into account residents who have their mental capacity still and when they say they are going to do something, do it within a reasonable timescale. Dad sometimes is told something is going to happen and it doesn't. Very frustrating for him. He hasn't got dementia so he remembers what has been said. Otherwise very pleased with the care received.
My mother has put on weight in six months after moving into the care home and she is very happy now after living on her own. She now has plenty of company, gets well fed, and gets her medication on time not like when she was at home. She loves her room and gets on well with the staff.
My grandma and dad are residents here. They both have settled in nicely. The home itself is lovely, very homely and the garden is beautiful. The staff here are very nice and helpful. The bedrooms are nice, both my dad's and grandma's room are large and spacious. My grandma recently turned 90 and the staff were great and organised a little party, we had a lovely day. The cook made the birthday cake and buffet which was nice. All in all this home is very good with nice compassionate staff.
I came here on 16/6/16, I have Parkinson's disease and was struggling at home.
