View Full Details of Llanrhaeadr HallI visit my Auntie every 2 weeks, the staff are so caring with all the residents. My Auntie is well cared for and happy with her surroundings.
After living alone and independently for many years my aunt has settled here since August incredibly well. She has no family nearby, but the team have been brilliant at helping her settle in, and find a range of creative activities that she enjoys. She seems to have made good friends in the home, and has been encouraged to personalise her room, which has it's own facilities and television. We finally visited in February and were very impressed with the home, which was clean and bright and cheerful. From the outside the home seems quite grand with a long drive and red door which my aunt was quite taken with. The nearby Lodge is a great place to take her out for a coffee or lunch. The staff we met were all friendly, caring with a sense of humour. It really does seem like a "home" and the staff and residents are like family to her. She seems really happy and settled and we are reassured that she is getting all the support she needs with day to day tasks, and treated with dignity.
All members of staff are so friendly, attentive, jolly and patient. They really understand my father and his needs whilst showing incredible patience. He is as happy and content as he can be in the care of LH. I have no doubt that LH is the best place he could be from the perspective of his care and well being given his condition.
Just an example of one day. You can visit anytime, I popped in to see Mum who had not wanted to go into the Home and saw her reclining in the lounge with tea and biscuits getting her feet massaged. She had also had her hair and nails done. We returned to her room which was immaculate and smelled fresh. All staff say hello and smile.
My mum has been here now for 6 or 7 months and is very happy, and so am I.
This is my first visit to Llanrhaeadr Hall and I have to say I'm impressed. The welcome I received from the staff was lovely, the atmosphere was great. Seeing staff with residents was heartwarming, they were made to feel special. My friend, who I was visiting, had had her hair done and was well dressed. It was obvious she was well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.
Llanrhaeadr Hall is an excellent care home. My mother has been a resident for three years and I regularly drop by to see her. My experience is of an extremely well-managed organisation. It is always welcoming and warm. The care home staff are genuine and really do care. My mother is happier here than she was prior to becoming a resident. I cannot praise Llanrhaeadr Hall highly enough. It is warm, friendly, and professional, the food is great and it is a very safe place for the residents.
As a family, we felt totally happy that our mother would be carefully looked after. We have not been disappointed and Mum has been happy. The staff understand her and talk to the residents, this is felt by all. I would recommend Llanrhaeadr Hall to anyone looking for a caring, safe environment for a loved one.
Llanrhaeadr Hall has been so supportive of my Aunt, and each staff member is so kind and caring. My Aunt has been living independently for over 70 years and now at 90 after a stroke, she is now residing in a very safe environment. Visitors are encouraged and welcome to take her out shopping in town or to restaurants. Highly recommend this care home.
I have been a resident here for nearly eight years and have been extremely happy. The staff are always very helpful, polite and caring. The room is lovely and cosy, always kept very clean and the food is very nice.
My mother has been at Llanrhaeadr Hall for five months and has received good care regarding her physical needs, medication and food requirements. She is treated with respect and kindness and will respond to the carer's warm words. The staff are hardworking and seem to work well as a team. My mum's condition and medical problems have been well managed and we are kept informed of any developments. I found it helpful to label clothes so that they don't get mixed up in the laundry.
My mother was a resident and moved into Llanrhaeadr Hall Care Home in 2020. I felt that she was in the most suitable place for her physical and emotional care. During my many visits with my mother, I observed that she was adored, happy, extremely well cared for and looked after. I was having difficulty getting through to the home to check on her well-being and eventually reached out to the Head Office, and a connection was made within 15 minutes, very efficiently, and also a great example of the professionalism of this organisation.
I came with one of my sons and grandson a couple of weeks ago. We were made very welcome and had a great time visiting. My wife has been in Llanrhaeadr Hall for three years and I have nothing but good things to say about Llanrhaeadr Hall. The lounge, dining room and bedrooms are perfect. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
My mother-in-law was looked after with great friendliness and care for the entire length of her stay. In particular towards the end of her life, staff really went the extra mile to make sure she was safe and comfortable. If a death can ever be a good death then hers was and staff can take great credit for their part in making it that way.
Suffering from Alzheimer's, Mum became a resident of Llanrhaeadr Hall in 2021. As with many families who are devasted when a parent is diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the decision is made to source full residential care for your loved one, your greatest hope is that their final days will be in facility that is comfortable, clean, homely and staffed by a caring team, we found this in Llanhaeadr Hall. From the management team who were always there with advice or just a shoulder to cry on, the individuals on the unit who cared deeply for Mum showing her much love and tender care, especially in her final days, to the staff in the kitchen for who nothing was too much trouble, I will be eternally grateful to you all.
All staff at Llanrhaeadr Hall are dedicated to all the service users. My mum loved living in the Hall, she was loved and cared for by all the staff. The staff also are very supportive to all family members. A wonderful care home.
Mum had her last years here. I can not rate the team highly enough, they go over, above and beyond the call of duty. All mum's needs were met at a very high standard. The food is excellent and the cleanliness is one of the best, if not the best. I have to say, it’s the only care home that I have been into that doesn’t smell and this means a lot. I cannot thank this team enough because not only did they look after my mum, they looked after all the family.
My dad has been in the Hall since December 2022. He has dementia, I am his only family member. Therefore having such an amazing team looking after my dad has given me such reassurance to know he is safe. There is always a warm welcome when I come and visit. They advise me on any concerns they have for my dad and we discuss what's the best course of action. The peace of mind they allow me is unbelievable. Dad is happy and enjoys the company of the residents and staff. Thank you for all your hard work.
It has been an extremely challenging time for the care home sector. With the shortage of staff due to covid impacts and additional work to support visits and maintain residents' safety. We are very pleased with the way service has been maintained by the team at Llanrhaeadr Hall - well done.
The Manager took mum in when there was a medical emergency in December and she’s been in since. There is a lovely atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. The Manger and the carers are amazing. They do activities with the residents and keep their spirits up. Mum is always spotless as is the nursing home. I’ve seen a few meals served and they always look and smell delicious. I couldn’t ask for a kinder Manager or team Thank you all
