Love the staff, the home, the atmosphere. My mother is very settled and happy and it is a pleasure to visit her in the home and to interact with other residents and the staff.

My mum has been in Alastair House for a year. I can honestly say I have never once questioned my decision to choose this home for my mum. The staff from day one have shown care and compassion always putting my mum's needs first. Everyone of the staff has been exceptional, going above and beyond for the residents and their families. It's a pleasure to visit and see the love and happiness in Alastair Hous.

My dad has been in Alastair House for just over a week. The care my dad is receiving is second to none! We cannot thank the manager and the staff enough for their continuing hard work and care. Dad is very happy despite some ongoing problems. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 5-star rating.

I can honestly say that Alastair House is a great place for my dad. Staff are great and always very caring and informative and kind to my dad couldn't ask for a better place for my dad to be.

I would recommend this home. The staff are caring and friendly. They try to establish friendly relationships with residents and their families. They are quick to deal with any health and care issues. My father is very settled here.

Mum is very well cared for at Alastair House. Her needs are all preempted and met. As her needs have increased, I have been kept well informed and have been fully involved with decisions about her care. She is treated with dignity and kindness. The staff are cheerful and have been super with her. I am very happy with all aspects of Mum’s care at Alastair House.

My mum has settled so well in Alastair House. I have felt very happy seeing her. She looks very well cared for and the meals look lovely. I couldn't ask for more and appreciate very much the kindness shown.

My mum's life is happy, loves life. She thinks the world of all the staff and management caring for her. All staff at Alastair House go above and beyond, they are kind, caring, patient and it shows they love their job. They also find time to support me (daughter) as I care for Dad at home. Couldn't manage without these people.

Homely atmosphere, variable diets. Friendly staff who treat residents like family. Residents kept clean and warm. Staff helpful when visiting at any time. Strict covid regulations. Have visited my partner for six years and found nothing to raise concerning.

I would recommend this home to any of my family and friends. The care my mum is having at the home is very good and all the staff are so friendly, always offering us a drink every time we visit. And I'm very happy that she is happy.

My Mum was an emergency admission as her dementia progressed very rapidly. Alastair House staff have been kind and courteous throughout and kept me well informed about how my Mum was settling in during her Covid quarantine period.

Our lovely Mum went to live at Alastair House when her previous care home could no longer accommodate her needs due to her advancing Alzheimer's disease. We were very worried since as my brother and I live overseas and couldn't do anything but speak to her social worker, a close friend had read the reviews on Alastair House. We needn't have had any concerns. The staff at Alastair House have been fantastic. They have demonstrated an understanding of Mum's needs and relate to her in a way that ensures she remains calm. She looks healthy and happy. There are plenty of activities for her to take part in which keep her occupied. We have only been able to visit once due to COVID-19 restrictions. The home is very clean and lunch smelled delicious. Staff have been very proactive in staying in contact with us. We regularly see Mum on videos and in photos and look forward to visiting her when restrictions are eased. A great big thank you to all those involved in the care of our beautiful Mum.

My mother has been resident here for a few years. I am very happy with the care she receives here. There are many activities going on here and the service is continually exploring more activities for the residents. Staff are always great and make everyone feel part of a family. The facilities are excellent, always clean and the food is also excellent. I always feel welcomed on my visits.

My mum was always treated with dignity and respect while she was at Alastair House. As my mum became more poorly. The staff supported my mum and also me. They made time to sit with her and chat, which she and I appreciated. I will forever be grateful that my mum was at Alastair House. They helped us both so much.

My husband attends Alastair House as a day resident on a Wednesday and a Friday. He has had an occasion to extend a Friday and also stay the night. My husband always comes home saying he has enjoyed his stay and how enjoyable the food is. Also, how friendly all the staff are, nothing is ever too much trouble.

My mother-in-law is always very happy when I pick her up. She tells me what sort of day she has had and how caring all the staff are towards her.
