View Full Details of Coed Mor Residential Care HomeI want to thank the staff for all the kindness, care and love they give my mum. I enjoy joining in with the activities, there's always something going on, and we're always welcome too! I see my mum every day, I can come whenever and be with mum, the staff make me feel so welcome it has a family feel. I feel lucky my mum is in Coed Mor. The home is always improving, thank you!
My dad has been treated like a prisoner since he was put in there for 4 weeks on the 7/5/24 while the housing association completed some work on my brothers and dad's bungalow, even though the work was completed by the 7/6/24 they still refused to let him return to his bungalow. The woman from social services will not answer the phone or return calls when my brother calls to see why our dad is still being kept like a prisoner. When I went to the home on the 27/12/24 to arrange to collect Dad on the 28/12/24 to take him to my home for a meal as it is my birthday I was told to call the home manager when she returned to the home at 2pm but every time I have called I only get the answering machine. Every time my brother and myself went to see him they would be listening outside the door, especially the home manager and we are still not allowed to see him in private.
Mum has been a resident for nearly three years. Could not ask for better care for her. All the staff are wonderful, treat Mum with great care and dignity, always very friendly towards both Mum and myself, nothing is too much trouble. I am always kept updated about her health and any care she needs. Mum herself says she is very well fed, very well cared for and she is very happy. Thank you to all the staff, especially during a very difficult eighteen months, for keeping her so well looked after and safe.
I have been in Coed Mor for just over ten years and have happy and interesting memories with carers and residents over the years and can communicate in both English and Welsh.
I am very happy here with both staff and residents.
