After many anxious months it was such a relief that our friend arrived
at this wonderful caring place. A degree of independence without
responsibility. The staff are welcoming and the other residents always
seem relaxed and happy. I have confidence in her care and well-being.

My mother had to go into care in February this year 2020 due to
Alzheimer's. The care home and its staff are amazing. They are so kind
and patient with my mother, who can be a bit tricky! When the lockdown
started in March due to Covid 19, the staff at Llys Elian have been
working long hours and looking after everyone there so well it's as if
they are family. They know it is so difficult with my mums family not
being able to visit, but they have kept my mum busy with singalongs,
pampering days and a celebration of VE Day with a garden party which she
heartily enjoyed as her memory does remember what she was doing that
particular day. The staff have kept us updated by photographs and also
video chats, which as I live overseas I was so grateful for, to
actually see my mother looking so well eased my worries. This is a
small care home which was definitely the best choice for my mother and
the staff now know my mother well and she is 'happy'.
