My mum has been here since March. She was getting less able to cope at
home and was struggling with day-to-day tasks and self-care. Mum was
admitted to the hospital and it was decided she wasn't well enough to go
home. I was dreading her going into residential care, I had a long chat
with the home manager and I was invited down for a chat and a cuppa.
They could not have been more helpful and kind. Mum was discharged into
their care and she hasn't looked back since. Now that Covid rules have
lifted, I am able to visit at any time, the staff are wonderful and
caring, providing Mum with a secure, loving and clean place she can now
safely call "home". On the days that she is well enough, I am
able to take her out for a couple of hours and we are encouraged to take
Mum's well-behaved small dog in to visit. I really could never have
asked for a nicer, kinder place. Thank you.
