View Full Details of Cae DeriI moved to Cae Deri on 18th November 2018 and left in late 2023, living there for nearly five years. I find it odd that reviews are only being requested now that I've left. Cae Deri used to ask for service users' opinions during staff supervision, but after I provided honest negative feedback, residents' opinions were no longer solicited. Now that I've left, you're asking for reviews, which feels suspicious. I felt unheard at Cae Deri and still do. There was some improvement when the new manager arrived. She decorated the house in colours I selected, which made me feel like I had a voice, unlike the previous manager. Before the new manager, I was left naked in my room, ridiculed by staff, ignored at the table, and treated with sarcasm. Many staff members befriend service users after they leave Cae Deri but avoided me. These same staff members have also avoided adding me on social media. My main concern isn't about social media, but about how poorly they treated me compared to others.
The carers are good here. I enjoy their company. They all make me happy. I felt really welcome when I moved in.
I have been a service user at Car Deri Care Home for the past 3 years. All of the staff are brilliant, caring and meet the needs of service users. I have had not complaints in 3 years and enjoy living here with the support and advice from the staff.
I am happy with the care I have been receiving.
Staff at Cae Deri are the best and the greatest. They are honest and reliable and they also come to you if you get any problems.
Due to Covid restrictions, I was unable to visit the care home prior to my mother's admission. My decision to select this care home was done by reading inspection reports online and telephone conversations with the matron. I have received regular updates on Mums condition. Mum always looks clean and well-groomed in photos on Facebook, and on the occasion, I have seen her, Mum looks happy and has gained weight, which she needed to do. Staff seem caring, and Mum appears to have settled in. Covid restrictions have been adhered to well.
Secure property with helpful and friendly staff. Everything is well maintained and always clean and tidy. Residents are well provided for and allowed to live as independently as their needs allow.
