View Full Details of Church View Care HomeComfortable atmosphere, very welcoming. Mam is well looked after and cared for. Any issues are very well cared for and can be resolved there and then. So far so good.
I have visited Church View 5 times in the last 12 or so weeks and from my first visit through to my fifth have found the care home staff really friendly, open and caring. My friend is not my father but if he was I would be happy that he is there. I visit another two friends who are in the care home environment and I can honestly say out of the three homes I visit this appears to be number one. As you can see by the ratings I have put satisfactory for value for money as to the cost of my friend's care.
I attended Church View for respite care following a full hip replacement. Care, food, and support were excellent. I enjoyed my stay for nearly one month. July - August 2024. I am back home and live on my own. I feel the staff all communicate well therefore care at Church View is very good.
I have found Church View Care Home a very pleasant environment, all the patients appear to be very content, the staff are all excellent and all rooms are spotless. My Mother appears to be content and looked after which is reassuring to us.
It is a beautiful home with kind staff.
Excellent staff who provide information when asked.
The staff are very helpful and caring. The rooms are clean and well looked after and Mam says the bed is very comfortable. The food is sometimes hit or miss for my mother but the staff ensure she does eat.
Clear, professional, and understanding staff with myself and my Father.
My husband has been here for five months. He has a nice room, in which he is comfortable, especially his bed. He likes the food, and the staff are very nice to him. I wish there was more interaction between him and the staff. The staff are so busy, there's not much they can do to help pass the time away for him. They are always on the move and never have time to chat much with the residents, which is quite sad. They are always short-staffed, which is wrong for the staff and residents.
The staff are very friendly and attentive and have looked after Mum well. Mum has particularly enjoyed the daily activities, she has knitted for the first time in many years. Mum has enjoyed the meals, especially not having to cook, and even better not wash up. The rooms not having an individual W.C. is a slight downside, but more than offset by the positives.
Church View Care Home is a lovely, friendly place to be. I enjoy visiting to see how wonderful the people in it are being cared for. The staff are so caring, the food is fantastic. Activity time is great with the lady who runs them! It's lovely here.
My Mother is very happy at Church View, we were very concerned about Mum managing in her flat. We couldn't be happier now she is here and safely cared for. Mum is happy the majority of the time. She suffers from depression and staff always manage to treasure her and work through things.
Grandma is extremely happy at Church View. There is always so much for her to do. Groups, singers, and children from local schools. Myself and my children are always made to feel so welcome. We can have dinner with Grandma and it is a pleasure to come here. The majority of staff are extremely supportive and are happy to make time and make us feel welcome.
My Mum seems happy with all the new friends she has made. I feel that the staff are great with her. It has made Mum seem happy now to be home.
My mother has been at the care home for almost a year and I'm happy to say that she is being well looked after. The staff I have met are very friendly and helpful.
The staff at Church View Care Home are friendly, professional and caring, all staff from carers to domestics through to the cooks and office staff are all amazing. It was my mum's birthday and they gave her such a lovely time and I am truly grateful for everything they do, not just for my mum but all the residents. Church View is a wonderful care home.
Carers who are 100% think of the people in their care. Very happy for my mother and father here.
My mum is very well looked after here. The staff are amazing, very polite, I love to chat to them.
Mum seems very well looked after. Staff have been very accommodating with our post-Covid visits. Very satisfied with her care.
My mum joined Churchview in March after a traumatic few months in hospital. Despite the Covid restrictions staff made every effort to ensure she settled in well and allowed us to visit when restrictions allowed. They were professional and extremely caring. Whenever I speak to them it is obvious how much they care about the residents. She seems to really enjoy being part of the regular activities despite her Alzheimer's and I am so pleased that she has settled in and is happy and well looked after.
