View Full Details of Florence Justice Christian Residential HomeMy mother has been a resident of Florence Justice Christian Resident Home for a year. I am extremely satisfied with the excellent care she has received these past 12 months from all the staff at this care home. Her room is bright and well decorated with a good outlook. The food is also excellent with plenty of choices.
My mother moved in last September she was made very welcome. The staff have always been attentive and approachable, going out of their way to ensure the comfort of the residents. Meals drinks and snacks are very regular, residents have choices too. Residents' personal areas and belongings are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times. I always feel welcome and the staff are friendly and helpful. The staff are willing to spend time chatting to residents tapping into their sense of humour.
My mother went to Florence Justice for respite care. We were struggling despite mum having carers 4 times a day. Mum was adamant she was going back home. After less than 2 weeks she now wants to stay! We are happy that she is now in a safe environment. Mum loves the food. All home cooking. She told me there was always something going on. Entertainment from singing to memory games. The carers are all lovely. They take time to chat with the residents as well as care for them. I can't speak highly enough about this home. Mum's room is lovely. Her window overlooks the garden. She is also happy that she can sit outdoors on a nice day. Thank you to all the staff for settling mum in and being so lovely with her.
I would like to express my great thanks for the warm and professional care of my mother who has been a resident of Florence Justice since 2022. Settling in, after a lifetime of being independent in her own home, has not been without challenges but the kindness and understanding of the staff have helped my mum accept her new surroundings. She has a cosy, bright, comfortable and clean room. The staff are exceptionally kind. At the great age of 100, my mum needs close attention and care and I feel confident that she receives this with dignity. Coming to terms with a loved parent living in residential care is not easy, or at times comfortable for the children who must make such decisions, but the Florence Justice family have helped us through my mum's transition from a fiercely independent older person to a cared for resident surrounded by an incredible team of people who genuinely care about her and provide for her, anticipating all her needs to keep her happy and safe.
My mum has been in Florence Justice Care home since December 2020. I cannot believe the difference in her. She is happy and cared for so well. Her room is so lovely and light with all her needs to hand and is kept so clean and tidy as mum can be challenging. The staff is always upbeat and willing to help whenever they can. I’m so glad my mum has settled there and is very well looked after. I feel she is safe which puts my mind at rest but also helps me. I don’t worry about her so much now. Well done to all of the staff that work so hard to maintain a good standard of care.
My father was a resident at Florence Justice from May 2019 until he passed away in February 2024. From the moment Dad moved into the home he was treated with the utmost care, dignity and respect by every single member of staff, Dad always used to say that you could not find a better home than this one. Over the years both Dad and our family members built up wonderful relationships with all of the staff and they became extended family. We will always be extremely grateful for all the love, care, support and respect that they showed to Dad and us as a family. It was a pleasure and honour getting to know each and every member of staff and the residents. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones.
My mum has been living at Florence Justice Christian Residential Home since January 2023. As a family, we were initially worried about how or if Mum would settle in. We are now so pleased and relieved to see just how happy Mum is. We checked out Florence Justice prior to our mum going there, as we had previously visited another home which we thought was not suitable for our lovely mother. Upon our arrival, we were met by a member of staff and also the wife of the owner. We were made so welcome by these two friendly ladies and given a tour of the home's impressive facilities. We were shown what was to be Mum's room which was being decorated prior to her arrival. The staff at this residential home are so well-trained by the management and owners that anyone who goes there, whether to stay, work or visit, are all made to feel as though they are part of one big, happy family. Everyone is known by their first name. Whenever we visit we feel part of this family. We are kept updated about Mum's well-being. Food and entertainment are superb.
The hardest thing I've ever had to do was put my father into a care home. The comfort I received and the kindness to my father have been amazing. The staff do everything in their power to make residents comfortable and happy. There is always something going on every day to entertain them. Any problems are sorted out immediately. There is nowhere else I would want my father to be.
Mum was living in Florence Justice Christian Residential Home for only 2 months but during that time the care they gave her was exemplary and faultless. The staff go above and beyond in the care they give, it truly is a home from home. The manager and staff made the family very welcome and got to know us by our first names. Mum celebrated her birthday while she was there and the family were able to gather to have a little party to celebrate in the visitor’s room. Sadly mum passed away recently but we cannot fault how the staff looked after mum and us during her final days. We would highly recommend Florence Justice Home to anyone. Written on behalf of her sons and daughters and their partners.
Both my mum and brother are in this care home. They are both really, really happy and the quality of care they receive is excellent. Would recommend this care home to anyone who wants to feel they are home from home. The staff are excellent, the food is excellent and it really does feel like one big family.
I have thanked the manager and the care team for the excellent care they provided for my mum from June 2022 to May 2023 but I would like to share with the public that I would highly recommend Florence Justice for future care for yourself or a loved one. My mum came to the home from Hospital where the care she was given was quite poor. She had lost a severe amount of weight, had poor mobility and was just declining. The care team at Florence Justice took the time to build my mum back up. It was not long before she had gained weight, was walking using her frame and back to her old self, laughing, joking, singing and joining in activities. Florence Justice gave me my mum back. The care team always gave me a regular update on my mums health, sharing any concerns and also sharing funny, meaningful moments they shared with my mum. The team work very hard to ensure all residents receive person centred care. They are all loved as they would their own.
