This care home is beautiful.. the staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. Everywhere you walk it smells beautiful and the care is second to none. I feel happy and safe my grandma will be looked after with the best care. Thank you all so much for your hard work!!

Cwmbran House Care Home has provided our mother with a safe place to live for the past 10 months. Mum has dementia and has the space to walk around as the corridors are long which gives her freedom and a certain amount of independence. The garden which is accessible from the communal room is wonderful during winter and summer and provides a safe space. As a family, we are very pleased with mum's care and I could recommend this care home.

My relative is treated with great kindness and respect, all the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents. Family members are made welcome at any time and are contacted immediately regarding any issues.

Dad took a while to settle in but he has now been here for several months and is very happy. The staff are kind, courteous and always helpful. The food/restaurant is first class.

We chose Cwmbran House as my mother always loved gardening and the resident's rooms are situated so each has a view of well-maintained gardens and use of same in good weather. The home is clean and organised with a friendly atmosphere. Importantly, the staff is very professional; equally essential, residents are treated with kindness, thoughtfulness, patience, and respect. (Plus plenty of fun). Families are welcomed at any time which is hugely reassuring, with any enquiries I have made being answered promptly and with care. I have witnessed many fun-filled activities taking place, seen that birthdays are remembered, and have heard from more than one resident that the food is good too. 12 months on, I am so thankful we made the right choice for my mother, who is very happy here and would recommend Cwmbran House unreservedly.

My Mother has been at Cwmbran House Residential Care Home for nearly 2 years and most of the staff are very attentive. It is very obvious that it is understaffed. They try their best but sometimes Mum has to wait to be taken to the toilet. We were promised trips out in the minibus as part of the activity programme but this has never happened. The use of agency staff means that some don't know the residents. There are some exceptional agency staff who are very good. Mum has her favourite carers who look after her well.

My brother, sister, and I viewed this care home and found that on just viewings it impressed us with its cleanliness and spaciousness which we found comforting. Also, we are very impressed by the care/resident relationship. We as a family were relieved when a place became available for our Mother. The care our Mother receives has more than lived up to expectations. There are numerous activities for residents to participate in. I personally feel reassured after every visit that our Mother is in good hands.

I can’t praise this care home enough. The staff are so friendly to visitors and residents creating a lovely vibe in the home. Residents are happy, engaged and very well looked after, being offered a selection of activities daily. My mother is so happy here and loves the craft, singing and various visitors the care home has to entertain residents. Thank you Cwmbran House Care Home, since moving in with you my mother is now thriving and has had a new lease of life.

During the two years that my mother has been a resident, I have found the standards of the home to be very good indeed. The food is always very good and well-presented. The home is very clean and well-maintained. The facilities are excellent. Staff are always friendly when we visit and very helpful. There seems to be an occasional problem with the laundry with items goings missing.

My dad has recently moved into the home and instantly felt safe and relaxed, he is already joining other residents for his meals, which he says are lovely. All the staff are so caring and treat the residents as part of their family. His room is bright and homely and we have been encouraged to make it individual to dad with photos, his favourite chair and lots of other bits from home. He is also allowed visits from his favourite dog, which cheers him up no end. The family are so grateful to all the staff as we can now relax knowing he is being looked after so well.

My mum has been a resident at Cwmbran House Care Home since March 2020. In my opinion, the care home dealt with Covid as well as could be expected under very difficult circumstances. The home is exceptionally clean and has been constructed in a way that provides the residents with an abundance of natural light and views of the gardens. Rooms are really good and every time I have visited my mum, her room is clean and fresh. Communication between staff and myself either via email or phone has always been prompt with any issues/queries effectively dealt with by the staff. I feel confident that my mum is being well looked after in a safe and caring environment. Cwmbran House is definitely a care home I would happily recommend.

"Your mum seems ten years younger, I can't remember seeing her so happy", my wife said last month and I couldn't agree more. Mum's been at Cwmbran House Care Home for three years and it's wonderful to see how much she enjoys life there. Above everything else, it's the sensational staff who make Cwmbran House the caring, fun and happy environment that makes Mum feel like the queen (so she often says!). And compassionate too - I will be eternally grateful that when things were most difficult during Covid and Dad was terribly ill, they went above and beyond to care for him too and ensure Mum and I could spend so much precious time with him. It's always a worry finding somewhere you can trust that someone close will be happy and looked after with love, so Cwmbran House gets my highest recommendation. Excellent, modern facilities, lively, social activities, good company, good food and well run. But it's the staff who'll make you glad you made such a good choice. I can't thank them all enough.

My mother moved into Cwmbran House Care Home in November 2021 and we immediately knew this was going to be a lovely home for my mother to be in. The staff are friendly, always professional and approachable and take great care of my mother. Mam was hesitant at first about being in care but now realises that it was for the best and says she feels safe and well looked after. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for her. Mam has plenty of company and made new friends with other residents, her appetite, drinking and mobility have also improved. Myself and my wife would like to say thank you to Cwmbran House and all it's staff for the wonderful care my mother is receiving and making her feel safe and happy.

Mum has been in Cwmbran House Care Home since March 2020, just before Covid lockdown. The last two years have been an extremely difficult and challenging time for everyone and I can’t thank the staff enough for their commitment, care, professionalism, understanding, flexibility, support and love during this time. It continues to be extremely hard to accept that Mum is in a care home however, dementia is a horrible condition which requires specialist care. With the care and encouragement from all the staff and management, Mum has settled well and I can sleep at night knowing that she is safe, well cared for, loved and respected. As I always say every time I visit. Thank you to everyone.

This is a marvellous place. My father-in-law is having a wonderful time. He has met loads of new people and he loves the staff and the residents. He goes to choir and participates in everything on offer. Oh and he loves the food.

My mum has been in Cwmbran House since November 2021. During that time, the staff have had to deal with varying situations as she is 101. The systems put in place by the management are excellent, the relationship with the GP surgery and other medical bodies is embedded in their policy and as a family, we are always informed. The care, the most important element, is absolutely wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and everyone from the care staff, kitchen staff, cleaners and the caretaker are involved with my mum and our family. It was hard to hand over Mum's care to anyone else, but Cwmbran House has been the perfect solution. She is our mum and very precious and we are so grateful to everyone for their love and support.

My grandmother (great) came here last October. The staff and carers are all wonderful. I do not worry about her at night anymore. The care she has received has been outstanding and my nanna is so happy here. Her room is always clean and tidy. Keep doing a wonderful job. Thank you for your compassion and support to us as a family.

I feel grateful and privileged that my mum is a resident of Cwmbran House Care Centre. The love and care she receives is wonderful. The staff are committed to the well-being of all the residents. Everyone is happy and glad to take part in the various activities on offer. The staff obviously look on their role as a vocation, not just a job. My family cannot thank them enough.
