My 86 year old mother was under Gwynfa care for two months. The service she endured was extremely poor, and two separate complaints were made to Gwynedd Council following serious failings by this care home. One of the incidents involved her not being able to see a doctor, where she had fallen on two occasions and badly hit her head. Every visit was without privacy and staff would constantly intervene talking about themselves and their interests, which was really annoying. During a short visit, I had two staff members interrupting our meeting. The girls were behaving as if they were social workers, where in reality they are employed as care workers. I had a support worker with me at the time who witnessed this and had to step in and tell them off. This establishment is poorly managed.
