View Full Details of Bonchester Bridge Care CentreOur father was resident for three weeks for palliative care and I cannot tell people enough about the wonderful care he and ourselves received from all the carers. Dad was shown love and compassion and was made to feel part of the family there. We also were shown the same love and care during what was a very difficult time in our lives. They are a wonderful team of people and I would not hesitate to recommend Bonchester Bridge Care Centre to anyone, and I thank everyone there for caring.
My friend's needs are understood and met fully. I think it says it all when I was told 'this is her home and we work to fit around her needs'. All of the staff are caring and friendly whilst being professional. It is an old building with extensive grounds - both of which need a lot of upkeep but this doesn't deter from the lovely approach given by all staff to those in their care.
My mother stays at the above care home. Since she has been there her care has been first class and she has enjoyed being there.
My mum came to Bonchester Bridge Care Centre after my dad dies. The care has been first class. She settled really well and continues to enjoy her time living there.
The house is set in beautiful countryside. My mother has been a resident for three years and I that time I have had no complaints. The care workers are excellent, professional and friendly. They understand my mother's particular needs and we have regular reviews to ensure her care package is the best it can be.
Lovely care home, staff are excellent, make you feel welcome when you visit and are very caring towards the residents.
This gentleman was treated with the utmost respect from the first day he arrived at Bonchester Bridge Care Centre. Since that day he has been cared for and looked after extremely well, resulting in him settling in and integrating easily with both staff and residents. The staff are very nice, the meals are all home cooked on the premises to the highest quality and the home is clean, warm and welcoming. Visitors are made to feel welcome at all times.
My sister appears to be consistently well looked after and does not show any signs of distress.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and all they do at Bonchester Bridge, they are all very caring and loving towards my mother and it is that which helped her to settle in so well. She is comfortable, warm and safe which is what I ask for my mother.
Overall an excellent care home with very committed management and kind, helpful, friendly staff. Lots of encouragement for residents to interact with regular activities if they want. The food is home cooked, varied and of an excellent standard.
Since my father-in-law went into this care home in July 2017 he has received very good care and attention to him settling in. He is now feeling more at home and relaxed as it takes time when leaving your own home and family. Staff accommodation and food very good.
Concerned about the consistently rising fees.
I am so delighted with all aspects of the care my cousin is receiving at Bonchester, it is a wonderful place for needy people.
The driveway to Weens House is in a shocking state, bad enough for vehicles but impossible for wheelchairs. The inability to take my immobile uncle out for a walk in the good weather is an issue of major concern.
