View Full Details of Roselea HouseRoselea House is a very caring home with lovely staff who cannot do enough to help. As my father is blind as well as having dementia I have found the staff to be very understanding and caring and are always trying to involve him in activities even though he is not very sociable (he cannot accept he is blind and is somewhat embarrassed). It is a pleasure to visit as everyone is so friendly.
Roselea is a great care home. It is small, and I feel that the residents are cared for very well as the staff have time to spend with each one. Nothing is too much for them as they are very obliging.
I have been highly impressed with the care my parents have received at Roselea House. All the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. There is a lovely atmosphere within the home with lots of chats and laughter. The dining room works well and the food/chef are great. I am delighted to have found a home where my parents are happy together, safe and well cared for.
Although Mum had only a short time at Roselea, I feel the staff knew Mum very well. We got to know the staff very well, and Mum was well cared for. Nothing was too much trouble, and they kept us well informed. Lovely big rooms, which enabled us to make Mum's room look just like her wee flat, which helped settle Mum in her new surroundings.
Roselea House is always welcoming. It has an excellent team of professional and caring staff who have an excellent understanding of Mum's needs. It is a friendly and comfortable environment. Mum settled in quickly 2 years ago and it is being well cared for. The large single room with an en-suite allows Mum to be treated with dignity.
Roselea House is wonderful and I am delighted my father lives here. The staff are caring, kind and compassionate. They look after my father so well using good humour and endless patience. I cannot think of a better place, for him to live in and have recommended Roselea to other people.
I cannot rate all the staff at Roselea House highly enough for the care and compassion my dad is shown every day. Last week it was Dad's birthday and the staff couldn't have done more to help us celebrate with Dad and make us feel included as they always do. Thank you to every member of the Roselea House team. You are amazing!
Roselea House looks and smells nice. With only twenty bedrooms it never feels crowded and staff ratios feel appropriate. Staff are caring and attentive and treat everyone with dignity, kindness and patience. They spend time with individual residents, helping them feel involved. Residents can choose whether to be in a communal area or in their room. Communal meals are a happy event with a choice of food and drink and a pleasant atmosphere. Food is good quality, appetising and genuine efforts are made to suit everyone’s tastes. Roselea’s manager, has been extremely helpful and supportive since our first meeting. The staff seem happy and motivated. Mum always feared care homes but now she talks and laughs her way through every day and seems to have a great relationship with everyone in Roselea House. For the first time in a long time I now get a full night sleep knowing mum is happy, settled and well looked after. Roselea House easily dispels the fears so many have of care homes.
Staff are caring and relate well with the residents. they are aware of the needs of residents and can anticipate and satisfy their requirements. The staff make it easy for visitors. There seems to be good moral among staff which is good for relatives. The management of the home is good.
I am very happy with the care and treatment my husband is getting. All the staff are very kind and caring.
This home is simply outstanding. It is a small unit with 20 beds - and I believe this allows a great relationship to develop between the staff and residents. We have had a difficult transition with my gran due to her not accepting - or remembering! - that she has Alzheimer's. I cannot fault the way the staff have supported her and all of the family - in fact quite the opposite as they've gone out of their way to help, even to visiting gran on their days off! The rooms are all lovely and bright and very clean. There is afternoon tea each weekday and visits out each week on the bus. Any concerns or questions are quickly dealt with and nothing is ever a problem to ask about. The staff are an amazing team from the fab manager who always makes time to talk when she's there, to the domestic staff, and all the levels in between. My gran has been to some other homes for respite and none of them are up to this level.
