View Full Details of Nazareth House - GlasgowThe facility is spotless and every member of staff I have met have been extremely helpful and friendly. My mum has found it difficult during the transition from being independent in her own home to being cared for. The staff have been amazing with her, encouraging her and making her feel at home. I worry less about her now as I know she is safe and being well cared for. Staff have listened to my concerns and acted on them in a professional manner allowing my mother to feel reassured and safe. The rooms are big and bright and with her own personal effects added it really makes her feel at home. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Our experience so far has been exceptional! Thank you so much to each and every member of staff at Nazareth House, you truly are an exceptional team!!
I cannot recommend Nazareth House enough. The care that my mother received was excellent. The level of customer car, again excellent. My thanks to all the staff and especially.
The care given to my dear mother was of the highest quality and could not be faulted in anyway. Big big thank you to the sisters & staff for all their help and prayers.
Both residents were taken care of to a very high standard. The home and staff were excellent with care and the accommodation was spotless. All other things meals activities for residents were great could have been happier with the care provided and the home. I did visit a few times during there short stay and they were both extremely happy in your care.
My mum and dad did never want to be into a care home. Circumstances in life overtook. I could not have asked for a better place if I tried. We live out the area and Nazareth house accommodated them. I am so grateful they have had the best experience for respite. As they have a granny flat attached to my house and I was reluctant. All the staff have been wonderful. If in the future Im need full time care this is the place.
The staff + management are so friendly and helpful. There are lots of staff to look after all the patients. This place is so clean and well maintained. I would recommend to anyone thinking of a care home. Great surroundings and gardens. My mother is very happy in here.
Excellent care from all staff Management very helpful Great facilities for residents Very nice outlook + peaceful
My mum was in Nazareth House for 5 days for respite. From the moment we arrived we were reassured that she would be looked after as everyone was so caring and helpful. It was very clean and hygenic and she was encouraged to take part in all activties we felt that the staff had good skills in dealing with her dementia. We called for updated while she was there and were always met with a professional response.
Visited a friend who unfortunately was admitted to CH day before. Spoke to Nursing staff and duty manager. All where appropriate in their communication. Warm welcoming atmosphere in reception. The reception staff/lady was very attentive. Lovely tea, very comfortable seats.
Member of my religious order was admitted for respite care in June 2024. She has been cared for with great dignity and compassion. Those of us who visit daily are highly satisfied by the excellent care and facilities.
Since the first day that Sister was admitted to the care home I have experienced a wonderful spirit of care and kindness. This was extended to visitors and was obvious between all those who work there - senior staff, carers, domestics and other residents. The environment is beautiful - tasteful and kept clean and tidy at all times. Wonderful attention has been given to Sister's needs - medical, comfort, social and spiritual. I have found the senior carers especially supportive, professional and kind. This has been a great comfort to me.
As the daughter of a resident I am exceptionally pleased with the care and attention given to my mother. The staff treat Mum with dignity and respect at all times, her needs continually met and any requests we have fully carried out. Food is of a very high standard and at times family members have been provided with meals during times of illness with my mum. The manager of the home has worked tirelessly in upgrading areas, making sure the residents are comfortable and is always on hand to speak with if you have any questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nazareth House Glasgow to others.
I cannot thank the staff of Nazareth House, Cardonald enough for their above-and-beyond ongoing care of my relative. End of life is a truly difficult time and the staff have shown an exceptional level of care and compassion to not just my relative, but to our whole family. I could not ask for a better group of staff, whom we class as extended family, to be looking after our relative. You are all angels and thank you so much.
I have been at Nazareth House twice a day for the past three weeks as my friend has been very poorly. I stayed overnight and I could not praise the staff enough. The day staff are angels. The seniors on nights are great but some of the carers at night are not good. My friend said I was in hell last night. I asked why, his reply was that two carers were very rough. Two carers during the day saw the marks left on him, on his leg and bottom. I have come in at midnight, 10 pm and other times to ensure this does not happen again. My friend has been here 33 years and has taken spiritual care of all residents and staff up until the last 18 months. Three staff in particular I can't praise enough.
My Mother has been unwell as she has been on several occasions. We have nearly lost her a couple of times. My Mother suffers from dementia which is the reason she was admitted into Nazareth House nearly 4 years ago. We were told that it was not a nursing home so would they not be able to care for her if she needed nursing care later on. For example oxygen or having to be on a drip. We are lucky we have been able to care for Mum at the home with the help of management and staff as Mum didn't require any hospital equipment to aid her recovery. We knew Mum would hate to be in the hospital and as a family with the help of the staff we cared for her at the home. I can't praise the staff enough for their care and attention not only to my Mum but to a few other residents who at the same time have become unwell due to frailty. The respect the staff and management show in their daily routine with residents gives brings us comfort knowing our Mum is well looked after when we are not there.
Dad has now been a resident of Nazareth House for just over a year. We knew he was going to require more help and attention than we could provide as a family. Considering a care home was one of the most difficult things we’ve ever had to do. It was not a decision we came to easily and there were some serious discussions before we settled on Nazareth House. During this time Nazareth House has been supportive, caring and compassionate. We’ve been able to sit down and talk over issues and problems and have found management and carers happy to listen and go that extra mile to make Dad and us feel valued. It’s a special place and we are delighted that Dad is so happy, entertained, stimulated and well cared for. Thank you for all you do. It’s greatly appreciated.
Mum has just moved into Nazareth House in the last four weeks. We could not be more satisfied with the care and support we have received. All staff have time to chat with Mum and answer my many queries! Mum is slowly finding her way to settle in. I realise Mum is safe and well cared for by all staff from domestic, activity coordinators, reception, canteen to hairdressers.
Staff have been very welcoming and supportive to Dad and us as a family, to adapt to a new situation. Dad is thriving and getting involved in activities during the day. Nazareth House has a homely feeling and is spotless.
Can't praise Nazareth House enough for the care they give my mum, all staff and management give 100% care to my mum and know all her needs. Mum's been in Nazareth House for nearly 4 years.
My Nana has been a resident at Nazareth House Glasgow for almost 4 years now, and as a family, we could not fault the care and attention she receives from care staff and management. The staff really take the time to really get to know the residents. They know their likes/dislikes, interests, preferences etc. This is from activities, to food/drink and also her personal care. Recently, when my Nana took unwell, the staff could not have been more attentive. Management and care staff have also made us, as a family, feel extremely welcome at any time of the day while caring for her. We couldn't pick a more perfect care home for my Nana to live in, and we can't thank the care home manager and her team enough for looking after her so well.
