Mum was in Hope Park House (HPH) from February 2020 to her death in
April 2021. I cannot speak more highly of all the staff and the care and
compassion provided. She arrived just four weeks before the first covid
lockdown and visiting was suspended. Sadly, due to Mum’s hearing loss we
were unable to speak with her during the lockdowns with the only
communication via staff and by letter. Every time we're able to visit
between lockdowns, Mum was always very well presented and staff were
very attentive and respectful to both Mum and us, with excellent
communication at all times. Mum was able to remain in Hope Park House
for end of life care and thankfully we were able to be with her when she
died. The staff were fantastic with us and were clearly upset when Mum
died - as sign of just how much they cared about her as well as for her.
They were her ‘family’ when we could not be there. I would have no
hesitation in recommending Hope Park House to anyone going through the
trauma of seeking a care home for a loved one.
