View Full Details of Sunnydale Care HomeMy sister seems to have settled well into Sunnydale. Although I am unable to visit and take my sister out as often as I would like I would say she is quite happy and not shown herself to be upset about living there. The staff appear to be very friendly and caring. So, overall, I do not have any concerns.
Sunnydale is a lovely home both to visit and to live in. My friend certainly loved spending her last years here. The staff are attentive and genuinely caring, frequently going above and beyond what might be expected in a residential care setting. There are frequent activities for residents to get involved in from sing-alongs to crafting and not forgetting the infamous "Sunnydale Olympics". The resident is encouraged to join in where possible but always maintain their independence and right to choose how to spend their time. Thank you for looking after my friend and treating her with dignity and respect.
Very helpful when looking around before deciding to move in. Once my aunt became a resident she was very happy there as everyone was so friendly and helpful and she received the very best care I could wish for. She was always clean and dressed well, her room was spotless as was the rest of the home. There was also a good choice at meal times. I was always informed when my aunt wasn't well or if the doctor has been called etc.
I stayed in Sunny Dale residential home for a number of weeks I was treated very well the food was very very good nothing was any trouble to them. If you didn't like one thing they would provide you with something else that you did like, plenty of tea and coffee breaks and biscuits. The house itself is lovely, furnished very well good style and comfortable chairs the bedrooms are very comfortable, there could be no complaints in this home. You're treated very well and you feel a complete lady staying in this house. You get treated with a smile from the day you enter to the day you leave, what more can one say about Sunny Dale apart from keep up the good work.
The staff are caring, friendly, helpful and very patient. I cannot fault them. Only negative is the downstairs toilet - very smelly which probably can't be helped with elderly residents.
Although the home has an old fashioned look to it, the staff and management more than make up for that. Every member of staff and manager are so caring and go over and above to ensure all residents are happy. My mother did not want to go into a home but she now considers it "home". The food seems excellent and the staff are always making drinks and bringing snacks around. I would be happy to recommend Sunnydale to anyone.
