View Full Details of Rush Hall Care HomeThey looked after my brother with great kindness and did a lot for him. All the staff treated him like one of their own family and could not do enough for him. They looked after us by keeping us informed daily of his condition. When he was nearing his end they were so compassionate and looked after us with kindness. It made us so relieved knowing he was being well cared for and had no concerns.
Massive shoutout to all the staff at Rush Hall Care home. They are so intensive and kind to their patients. And provide a lot of comfort for them. I’m really happy with how well treated my uncle is.
For the past 18-months, my wife has been a resident at Rush Hall Care Home suffering from vascular dementia. She is very well looked after, and I am very happy with the care she receives. The carers go out of their way to see that she and all the other residents are well looked after, over and beyond their duties. The management and staff, nurses, administrations unit are very accommodating to relatives. Thank you to everyone who works there; hope it won't be too long until we can get inside again to hug our loved ones.
My father has been at Rush Hall for the last 3 years. He came in with early stages of dementia, mum could no longer have him stay at home as he was a bit of a handful. The care the nurses and carers have given has been phenomenal it was as if each patient in their care was a family member. Nothing is ever too much trouble, even with this awful situation, we have found ourselves in over the past two years. The manager and staff in the office are equally as caring towards the families visiting. When we could visit normally, we were always offered tea and coffee and the cook makes amazing cakes and shortbreads. I this was a hotel you would definitely be giving it a five-star award. My dad is in the Hunter Suite, the nurses have such loving bond with all the residents. All the staff are just great, I don’t know all their names but the two carers we have annoyed many a visit, everyone just makes you feel very welcome.
The staff have gone well beyond their duty of care to ensure my mother-in-law is well looked after and comfortable, especially during these uncertain times as I’m unable to visit as often as I would like. They keep me updated on her progress and care, and I can’t thank them enough for their ongoing dedication to her and the rest of the residents.
It was a difficult decision for the family to place my grandfather in a care home, but we need not have worried. The staff at Rush Hall have been fantastic, in seeing not only my grandfather's needs but the family's. They keep us well informed at all times and answer any questions we may have. It is good to see a smile on his face, and he seems to have some new friends, which we are all delighted to see. Thanks to the staff at Rush Hall for their hard work, and particularly for their attention to detail when it comes to looking after someone so important to us.
Care to my father from carers and nursing staff was exemplary. The only fault is that every time GP was asked to be seen, GP was out of hours, or team to keep you at home, transferred my father to casualty. Blue light ambulance to casualty for someone who had a DNR. GPs out of hours do not listen to family.
As a daughter having to make the decision to place my father in Rush Hall was one of the hardest things. But in my heart, I knew it was the safest place for Dad to be. From arriving at Rush Hall, we were welcomed by the staff and made very welcome; Dad felt important and immediately at ease. Dad settled into life at Rush Hall very quickly, and I was amazed at how quick each member of staff picked up on Dad's personality. Dad enjoyed life in Rush Hall for several months before we received the devastating news that Dad was on palliative care pathway. The staff were outstanding; ensuring Dad received the best possible care. I cannot express enough how kind, caring and compassionate all the staff were towards not only Dad but us as a family. As a family, we were really well supported and regularly updated at this unknown time, due to visiting restrictions. Staff had great understanding and empathy at a very difficult time. Thanks Rush Hall for all your care, help and support at a heartbreaking time.
My mother is cared for very well at all times, but particularly over the last few weeks when she has been unwell with a bad cold. The staff have been very kind and attentive and have kept me well informed.
Rush Hall staff are always very welcoming and friendly. They have an excellent policy of informing relatives of any concerns or issues immediately. The staff are very caring to the residents and understand their needs in my experience. The buildings and facilities are great - the wings are small enough to feel homely - especially the living room, bedrooms and dining room. My gran thinks the food is great - varied and well cooked. She always looks clean, smart, well dressed and content.
I would not hesitate to recommend Rushall Care Home to anyone who is looking for a safe, well managed, friendly and welcoming home for their loved one. I feel assured that my mother receives a high standard of care from a highly dedicated and professional team of staff.
My father has been in Rushall Care Home for over three years. The staff have been excellent, helpful, caring and attentive to both my father and the families needs. My father is comfortable and well looked after and he has a good rapport with the staff.
My mother was placed in Rush Hall by the local health trust after a partial hip replacement, pending a transfer to hospital for rehabilitation and physiotherapy due to pressure on bed space. The staff, both nursing, carers and auxiliary staff, have been courteous and kind but are clearly under pressure with so many duties in a 12-hour shift.
