Mum came to Brook House Care Centre in February 2024 and has received the best care possible. All the staff are absolutely brilliant and take great care of my mum. Every single member of staff takes time to talk to her as they pass by. The entertainment is amazing and Mum joins in most activities. She has settled in very well and is very happy at Brook House. As a family, we thank everyone at the care home for all that they do.

On my first visit to Brook House, before my wife was admitted, I was given a tour of all of the facilities and met some of the staff. Everywhere was clean and tidy, especially the kitchen. The thing I noticed most was the friendliness of every single member of staff. Already, I felt comfortable, and after talking to the nursing staff and the manager, I was confident that this was the right place for my wife. She moved into Brook House on 6th April 2023. I was surprised at how quickly and easily she settled in. I always get a warm welcome from the staff, and they always give me an update on her behaviour and activities. I can say without any doubt whatsoever that every member of the Brook House staff that I have met, the receptionist, the office staff, the maintenance men, the cooks, the nurses, the carers, the activities staff and the cleaners and of course the managers have always been friendly, caring, happy, helpful, obliging and very professional.

Since my beautiful husband arrived at Brook House 3 years ago, every one of - staff have been fantastic, caring, supportive, friendly and helpful. They're a family everyone could wish for. Thank you all for your wonderful love, kindness and support to residents and families. God bless you all.

My mum went into hospital expecting to die. The manager and deputy manager visited my mum in hospital. Mum was eventually discharged with a place, plan and the home almost threw a party to have her back. My mum is still going and is lovingly cared for every day including being fed and changed. She has been at Brook House since August 2019 and is visited by all the staff who she calls all by the same name. All the staff love the residents and ensure that families are kept informed and are made a part of the Brook House family. Wonderful team, wonderful care, wonderful experience.

My father has been at Brook House for a couple of weeks. Family are regular visitors and we have found it nice and cosy. Staff are polite, management are always on hand. Safety and security are very good. My father is always clean and changed all the time. so a big thanks.

From the first point of contact on looking around on day one, we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Brook House. We were hesitant of moving our mum from home into a care home but our concerns were unfounded. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, visits were made easy. They showed our mum dignity and respect and she was always safe and clean. They really cared when she passed away, they were dignified and respectful. Thank you.

The overall care home is a pleasant place to visit. It could do with brightening up in some places. It is very warm in the rooms and the management team and admin staff are excellent, very helpful and polite.

I am very happy with the care my daughter receives. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff, especially office staff who are always there if I have any issues. Nursing staff also very helpful.

On visiting my grandad was met by a lovely administrator. Very warm and welcoming. The staff are very chatty and very welcoming. The home itself is clean, but very hot! The manager us very lovely, welcoming and really informative. Basic accommodation, but Grandad is ok.

Staff are lovely. Dad has a very close relationship with his 1-2-1 carers. All staff are friendly and helpful, and they try their best to answer any questions they have.

Love the place, with good cleanliness, and helpful staff who are kind and treat people and visitors with dignity. Love the overall facilities so far well maintained. Good job keep it up, all round good, and a nice place. Well organised, fresh environment feels like home. Excellent!

The activities staff here are exemplary. They radiate happiness and humour. They have a genuine concern for the spiritual welfare of the residents. They also genuinely enjoy each other's company and create an atmosphere of family and belonging. These are wonderful are rare qualities!

The Brook House cares for one of our members who use their services. They are very responsive. The manager and the staff are friendly. The home is neat. Overall, I think they are providing excellent services.

My mother has received wonderful care from the staff. When Mother entered the home she was not eating or drinking and was losing weight. Since then Mum has been eating well and drinking normally. The staff take time to speak to Mum, are always gentle with her. They always keep me informed of any changes that will affect my mother. I could not have asked for a better home.

I think the home is under-resourced. Coordination with the palliative care team could be improved.

The care home and staff are very good. They look after my husband very well. I know he is getting the best care from all the staff. They take care of his every need, and myself and my son know he's in the best care home. All the staff are kind and caring. We are happy because we know he's happy.

The staff are very kind and caring towards my mum. The home's approach/response to the pandemic has been outstanding. Communication with relatives is efficient and appropriate. My mum seems very calm here at Brooke House, considering her complex needs. Reception/finance and admin staff, are also very approachable and caring.
