View Full Details of Highbury New ParkMy husband was admitted to Highbury New Park Care home at the end of November 2024 and from that time his care has always been excellent. The staff are very well led and supported by the manager and her team, and all are most warm and welcoming. The home itself is very well appointed and equipped, all the rooms are ensuite, and it is always immaculately clean. There is a wonderful loving and homely atmosphere, making it a pleasure to visit, and reassuring me that my husband is receiving the best of care.
Excellent staff, brilliantly run. Myself and my family love the relationships my Nan has with the staff especially staff on her floor. All the staff know the residents even if they are not on her floor.
Always find staff and carers, very helpful, supportive and ready to answer any questions I may have, caring towards all residents and relatives. Make you very welcome and happy that you get involved when visiting.
Since my relative became a resident at this home I found the staff very friendly, compassionate and helpful. I can visit my relative at any time (within reason) of the day. They have allowed me to assist my Uncle in making his time there more comfortable. I always look forward to seeing and speaking with the staff on duty on visiting. Kudos, to you Care UK. Keep up the nice work.
I am very happy, I love all the staff and the residents are taken care of wonderfully. We are all treated as family. We are always invited to The events at Highbury New Park, and we enjoy attending to be with our loved ones. We make friends with other relatives and have weekly coffee mornings where we catch up with staff and other relatives. The staff always contact me to tell me how he is, and when I leave I know he is safe and happy and well cared for.
My husband has been in the home for nine months and I am happy that he is well cared for and his needs are met. Staff have always been kind and supportive, both to my husband and to me, in what has been a difficult situation for my family.
It's very reassuring to our family that my father's more complex care needs are provided for. And being able to visit him at any time and know that I will be warmly welcomed is a huge comfort. My conversations with staff and management are professional yet friendly; they understand the difficulties that families face when someone moves into a care home and support us through the process too.
I am so happy my mum is in this care home because they are the nicest carers I have ever met. The manager is so informative, very welcoming, and when we first met her she told us and explained every little thing that the residents and carers do, she is very easy to talk to if you have concerns about anything. I love all the carers on my mum's floor, they are very genuine, they are so good with and to the residents, and they know all their needs, what they like to eat, and what they like to do. It's spotless in my mum's room and my mum always looks clean and tidy always. My mum loves it there and seems very happy (Thank God ) they do so much there and everyone always has a smile, I am very grateful my mum is in this particular home. A massive thank you to all the staff.
It all works so well, air of order on walking in, of organisation too. Clean, tidy. Staff are patient and calm, respectful of residents and their needs. It instantly felt and still feels, like the right place.
My mum has just recently moved to Highbury New Park care home and although she is taking time to settle into her new home she is clearly very happy with her room, the staff and the meals. I have been so impressed with all of the staffing team. They are always available to speak and really helped us all feel at ease. They are true professionals and demonstrate great care and kindness to all residents. They have taken time to get to know my mum and become familiar with her own routine and they do all this with respect and patience. I feel very fortunate that my mum is in such a safe and caring environment.
My husband has been in Highbury New Park since May. Since then, he has settled in well. He has been encouraged to progress from wheelchair to walking frame, which has improved his general health and allowed him greater independence. He spent one night in hospital for planned surgery, which was well organised, with minimum stress. Residents here are treated as individuals, with warmth care and affection. My husband enjoys particularly his room, which is clean, spacious and well appointed, the garden where he feels relaxed, and the fact that the common room is not overcrowded. He looks forward to his meals. It has made a big difference to us as a family to have found such a pleasant, calm and welcoming place and to know that we can be assured he will be cared for with both kindness and efficiency.
Me and my sister are extremely happy that Dad is here and being looked after so expertly.
The warmth and caring is second to none. The manager and staff are always willing to go out of their way to support, not only the resident but the whole family of the resident. My sister is settled and much more active since she was placed here. She has made a lot of friends but most of all, I don't have to worry on a daily basis, when she is well looked after.
My father has been a resident here for a month and has settled in well. The staff are friendly, professional and caring, and my father's room is always kept immaculately clean. We've been very impressed with the management at this care home. We're always welcomed by name, and all of our (many) questions have been answered. We feel very lucky to have found such a happy home for my father to stay in.
My friend has lived here for five and a half years. He is very happy and always looks well-presented. I visit him every other week. The staff are always friendly and I can ask them how my friend is. He is well looked after and thriving. The activities stimulate him. He has never had an admission to hospital since he has been here. I am happy with his care and would recommend this care home.
My experience is overwhelmingly positive. All staff are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My aunt is very happy at Highbury New Park and as a consequence, I am actively seeking that a second Aunt also joins her at this residence.
My aunt has been in the home for a few years now, and she has been very well looked after. She is always clean and fed and has a smile on her face when we visit her. Even her nails are painted. The staff are always helpful and so welcoming, and this makes all the difference. The home was recommended to me, and I know why. Thank you all.
The past two years have been very difficult with all the restrictions that Covid caused to be put in place. Highbury New Park did all the could to let my brother and myself see our mother and in the worrying times we were reassured that she was getting the best possible care. The managers and staff went over and above and we are so glad that our mother was in a safe place with staff that really care for all the residents.
I am very happy with my uncle being in this home. He is looked after very well and is always clean and tidy when I visit. The home is kept very clean and the staff very friendly.
Dad has been here since May 2018, following my mother who was here since May 2016 who unfortunately passed away in October 2020. We have had nothing but fantastic care and service since day one for both my parents. They have been marvellous accommodating us a family - especially during bereavement.
