View Full Details of Abbey Care ComplexManager & staff were very kind & helpful. Home was very clean and staff were excellent, nothing was to much trouble. Care given to my dad was above and beyond in his short stay here.
All staff are very helpful and attentive to the needs of my mother.
Although my ex-husband and I divorced 10 years ago I was glad he managed to be in the care of Abbey Care Complex staff. The manager was wonderful when I contacted her as the place he was previously was unsuitable. Thank you.
I am astounded by the transformation that my dad went through once he became a resident at Abbey Care Complex. To watch my dad catch balloons and balls as well as clapping his hands made us happy with the knowledge that he was in the right place. Thank you.
My dad has been a resident at Abbey Care Complex for over 2 months now and the standard of care is amazing. He has 24-hour care and has Alzheimer's and the staff are so caring, attentive, and easy to talk to. My dad looks so much better than when he arrived. He was transferred from another home after a fall and it was felt he needed more one-to-one care and he now looks better than he has for months. The staff put on a summer party last Saturday - and there was an entertainer/singer - who sang all the old songs and the staff were enthusiastic and got people up dancing. There was lots of food and it was really fun. The residents all seemed to be enjoying it and it was lovely to my father-in-law clapping away and enjoying the party.
Sometimes there are communication problems with some of the staff's English as not their first language. The staff are very polite and helpful. The place itself is well maintained.
The care has been fantastic! Upon entering the building on my first visit, I was shown around the building and taken to the right room. The building was clean and the nurses came in 3 times to bring snacks and drinks for me and the children. The manager also popped in to check on us and invited us to sit with her after my visit. She was very informative and caring. She gave me a run down from when I lived one arrived to date. I left feeling happier than when I arrived.
My father-in-law has been a resident at Abbey Care Complex for the past month after being transferred here from hospital. I cannot praise the staff and level of care he receives highly enough. He receives constant care and attention to meet all his medical and personal needs.
I'm so happy for the care support provided by Abbey Care Complex. Staff are very friendly, home is very clean, manager and admin are friendly and very supportive, my family member is very satisfied with services. They conduct beautiful events monthly. Food is also amazing with lots of alternative choices.
The staff were very helpful. My dad, an 80-year-old widower with kidney cancer was taken in by Abbey Care Complex on 25th July 2024 where he stayed under their care until his passing on 29th July 2024. The room was decent. Clean, airy, light and kitted out well. The facilities were good. Food well presented and served at a good temperature, portion size and taste. Sadly my dad no longer had an appetite which actually lasted back until January of this year as such he didn't really eat. However, the staff were persistent and tried. One member of staff in particular was a credit to the home. We as a family found all of the team very warm and considerate.
The best care and compassion. All staff are brilliant helping with my needs.
Mum was on the last stage of her journey and only lived for several weeks at Abbey Care Complex. We are very grateful for the care she received during this period all the staff did as much as they could and made Mum as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately Mum was unable to eat. They are all very friendly and helpful to the patient's family and immediately reacted to anything we asked. Thank you to all the staff for looking after Mum.
Mum was admitted in September 2021 following a brain bleed. The staff have been very caring and supportive, both to Mum and the family, especially since the trials of coming out of lockdown. Although her communication was limited she felt looked after and safe.
My wife is in the home for physio and rehab. She's rather younger than most of the residents. Therefore her dietary needs were not really met. However, this home is kept very clean and staff are as helpful as possible, given the strain of the job. Thanks to all.
It made a big impact by the caregiver who worked there. Because they are all trustworthy, accountable, and sensitive to the needs of my friends there. They were always on time. They are the most caring and kindest person I have ever met. They were so responsive, and they were so good at taking the needs of my friends in. The caregiver was born to do this job and she does it so well. The care has always been excellent. It was more than I could have ever dreamt of.
Staff are very caring and attentive whenever I ask a question I get a full and considered answer, which is very reassuring. All the carers are gentle and sensitive with my mum and extremely patient (she has dementia and can immediately forget). My mum is a very clean lady and appreciated her clothes get washed regularly. All in all I'm very grateful for the care my mum is getting.
At the saddest part of my life, the staff at Abbey Care Complex not only became carers for my husband but family to my children and myself. We were reassured every day about his well-being and so supported. My husband was very happy here, which made me feel at ease whilst working. Food, hygiene, cleanliness, regular checks, takeout food, haircuts, updates were all more than above and beyond. The staff was very compliant in following policies with regards to Covid, which was a massive relief for me with him being vulnerable. From the manager, the nurses, and to all the carers that looked after him, I can’t ever thank you enough! I could not have done this without you all. God bless you!
My grandmother is a resident in Abbey Care Complex since June 2018. In the beginning, it was very hard for her, coming from her own home, but thanks to the staff and management who have been very patient and friendly, just in a few weeks she settled and felt comfortable. These amazing people in Abbey Care Complex make her feel happy and understood. They meet all her needs and wishes. I highly recommend it.
My friend was a resident in Abbey Care Complex for the last two months of his life. He was extremely happy with all the environment, including the food, the care and all the facilities. Every time when I had visited him he was praising all the staff and the management. Finding him happy all of the time made me happy also. Highly recommend Abbey Care Complex.
My father was admitted to Abbey Care Complex in June as fast track/end of life. In this short period of time, I was really impressed with the good quality of service offered by staff. Staff are very professional and passionate about their work, especially on this difficult pandemic time. Many thanks to the staff and management of Abbey Care Complex for taking such a good case of my dad. I will definitely highly recommend!
