When my daughter and I visit my brother we find he is happy, well cared for and alert. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. I keep informed regularly on my brother's health and well-being.

My husband has been at Ashgrove since early September 2024. It is our first experience of a care home so we are both apprehensive. I must say the staff have been brilliant throughout the process, prior to his admission with home visits, during the admission itself and since he has taken up residency. This has helped enormously to get my husband settled and adjusted to his new surroundings and routine and our anxieties disappeared very quickly. I find all the staff very kind, cheerful and most helpful. They are always happy to help and accommodate to make my husband's experience the best it can be. I am very happy to have found Ashgrove and it already feels like an extended family home.

My mum is very happy with the care that she receives at Ashgrove Care Home. She enjoys all of her meals and she gets plenty of activities to do.

I visit my friend frequently at Ashgrove Care Home and always get a lovely welcome. I have been visiting Ashgrove to see her since March this year and her improvement is very good to see, most of all she is very happy there and is eating well and walking better. Overall a very good move for her.

I attended a lovely Diwali celebration. Great atmosphere, beautiful dancing and delicious food. Residents had a wonderful time, relatives too. Felt like a real family party - just right! Very touched that many staff chose to attend on their time off.

I have always received a warm welcome when visiting my brother who I know is being very well cared for. There is always a happy and relaxed atmosphere created by a dedicated staff who work hard. Residents are always well respected and enjoy the friendships from the staff. The home is clean and tidy. When special days in the calendar are celebrated by all, it is delightful to be present.

The staff of the care home are very friendly and very helpful. I think they do a very good job of looking after and caring for the residents.

Can't find anything wrong with the nursing home. Everything is excellent.

My Mother has been a resident at the care home since October 2023. During that time she has been cared for with love and dignity. During August Mum celebrated her 101st Birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it a special occasion. A friend who visited Mum was very impressed, saying it was more like visiting someone at home, not in a care home.

As always my interactions with the staff are very satisfactory. 3 members of staff, in particular, are always very professional and obviously care not just for my Mum but also for other residents. They keep me informed of any issues affecting my Mum. I never have any hesitation in recommending this home.

My friend who now lives at Ashgrove is very happy there and well cared for. Her overall health has improved since admission and she is more engaged and cheerful. The staff are always helpful and kind. Her room is clean and pleasant and she chats well with the staff who care for her. Visitors are encouraged and welcomed.

Ashgrove Care Home is the best place for every ill or disabled person such as my husband who is suffering from cancer. The management is every person of staff are so kind and caring and he relaxed and grateful for what they do for him. Thank you so much.

My nan spent her last year in Ashgrove. She was extremely happy, the staff were very attentive, friendly and caring and created a home away from home environment for her and us as her family. We will never be able to repay everyone here for the love, support and commitment to their jobs. Thank you everyone!
