View Full Details of Beech Court Care CentreOverall good. Clean, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Staff helpful, cheerful, some especially caring but all work well in sometimes challenging situations. Cleanliness is really second to non. Bed changed every day regardless and whenever necessary during the day. Room and floors in corridors spotless. Hospital work changed every day and when needed. Food is nicely presented and cooked well. Staff try to give what the residents likes to eat - difficult sometimes, don't know what they want themselves.
My mum had advanced Alzheimer's with a number of additional nursing needs. She was welcomed to Beech Court Care Centre and from the very start was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. It didn't matter who was on duty, she was treated wonderfully by all the nursing and healthcare staff. There is an impressively warm culture at Beech Court, where every member of staff, from housekeeping, catering, estates to the nursing, healthcare, management and administration team, treat residents as if they were their own family. As family members, we could visit at any time, which was really helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Beech Court for your family member.
Happy with the service. My husband has settled well and is well looked after. There seems to be a shortage of staff as sometimes they are overdue to be changed.
My father has complex care needs and Beech Court Care Centre has been exemplary in the way they have managed these. Regular and thorough hygiene routines have ensured my father is able to retain his dignity and be as comfortable as possible. Staff are constantly interacting with him and they show high levels of compassion and care. My experience is that all staff demonstrate a very sound working ethos which is testament to them, and the great job the managers are doing. The managers have an open-door policy and I have been impressed with the way they have dealt with my queries and addressed my fathers needs in his best interest. The care home provides a calm, welcoming and homely environment for residents and visitors. I come away from every visit with the reassurance that this is one big, united team pulling in the same direction to give outstanding care and I am very happy my father is here. Thank you!
I do not think I could find a more suitable home for my partner than Beech Court. He is treated with dignity and respect. He has now been a resident for 15 months and we have had no complaints at all. The staff who look after him always have a smile on their face and you can feel that they do genuinely care for him.
Really happy with the way Beech Court look after my mum. They know her very well as if she isn't feeling her normal self they recognise this. The activities they put on, especially the singing afternoons, are amazing!
After five weeks in another care home in Romford I managed to get a move to Beech Court. I was welcomed from the ambulance at reception on arrival. My experience was that I had gone to sleep and woken up in Heaven. From the manager and assistant, over the next few days I found nurses, carers, cleaners, laundry and kitchen staff were all so kind and helpful. Not to forget the handyman maintenance man. Everyone is so kind and caring. Daily medical care I receive is so gentle, the room is spotless with daily cleaning, food after some hiccups is upscale restaurant standard. I feel I have moved in with my family, I love it here. Thanks all. Night staff and day are one big team. Thank you.
Superb service. Very friendly staff.
My aunt is well cared for at Beech Court Care Centre. She enjoys a positive relationship with the staff and is provided with many opportunities to socialise with her peers. She particularly enjoys the singing sessions held on Friday afternoons. If there are concerns, the staff always ensure to contact me promptly so that these can be addressed in a way that meets the best interests of my aunt.
My father is in Beech Court, he is so well looked after. The care is brilliant. The carers and nurses are so caring, so kind and so helpful. I have no issues.
My mother-in-law was very poorly, but due to the wonderful care and attention she has improved and is very much better. Every member of staff is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She has now been in Beech Court for nearly two years and is happy and contented.
My mother has resided in Beech Court Care Home for the past year. She has settled down to living in the home. The staff treat our mum with dignity and anticipate her needs well.
The staff are very proactive with the resident's complex needs and care for him with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. In regards to the pressure sores which he had before he moved to Beech Court they have been persistent with the treatment and big results have made a difference. They all constantly engage with him and ensure he is ok.
My dad was moved from a local hospital to here. I must admit, after staying in a different care home before, which was not great, my hopes were not high. How wrong I was! Everybody and I mean everybody working there that I had any interaction with was absolutely lovely, helpful and respectful. The room was adequate for his needs and very clean. I always found him to be clean and shaved and rarely left on his own. It was a great comfort to myself and my family that dads last few days were spent here, knowing he was so well cared for while I was working. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Mum sadly passed away on the 19th of October after three years as a resident at Beech Court Care Centre - she was only expected to be there for three months! I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough who cared for mum so well - allowing her to keep her dignity even though she was bed-bound for the duration of her stay. The staff always supported mum with compassion, cheerfulness and humour and saw her through the Covid pandemic which must have been such a tough time for them all! You have been amazing and we will be forever grateful.
Was not happy with the care my Mother received in Beech Court. Found the staff to be rude and overbearing. The whole encounter seemed a sham. The care she received there did not meet the standards we had expected and only a few of the staff I would call genuine caring people. Everything was too much trouble, not impressed at all.
There are no words to describe how amazing this place is. When I was first told my mum has to be placed in a care home in august 2019, I was emotional and in denial, this was the first care home I looked at with my sister-in-law and feel in love with the place straight away. In the 7-months my mum was here you guys became like family, (1st floor) always smiling nothing was ever an issue and you made my mum and family at ease. Whenever something was wrong with my mum, they would ring me straight away to inform me what is going on and what the next plan of action was. I would recommend this home to anyone looking, especially to someone who has a relative with dementia the care is fantastic. Thank you for everything you did for my mum.
After a difficult 6 months with my parents, we finally secured a place for our mum in Beech Court. From day one she felt at home being made so welcome and included, we are so so grateful for their kindness. Our dad was already in a nursing home some 7 weeks with a whole different experience and we tried to get him transferred but he fell ill a few days before and passed away the morning that he was to go to Beech Court. The staff at Beech Court pulled out all the stops to accommodate and he was to have the room opposite his wife. I will not forget their kindness. With a lockdown in place at the moment because of Coronavirus they are working doubly hard and we can't thank them enough for their dedication, just wish we could help in some way.
Mum has been a resident at Beech Court for a year and a half, and from day one she has seemed settled and happy. We visit regularly and have seen firsthand the genuine care shown by staff to mum, and other residents. Staff work hard to make mum as comfortable as possible and to make sure she gets the opportunity to be with other residents, and take part in social events. Mum has got to know some of the regular staff there and is always smiling when they’re talking to her. Generally, it’s a nice atmosphere in the home. I would be happy to recommend Beech Court to anyone as a safe, and caring place, for loved ones to be.
I know which carers are on daily as some are much better than others and more caring.
