View Full Details of Bromley Park Care CentreI always get a warm welcome when I visit, my husband is happy and well looked after. He enjoys the food. He often thinks he's in a hotel! He loves sitting in the lounge and we enjoy the decor and view of the garden. The TV room has a very good, big screen. We both enjoyed the Christmas party yesterday. The singer was good and encouraged us all to sing along. There were canapes on offer in the dining room with delicious sausage rolls. Also, rock music and we actually managed to join in the dancing! I am 90 and my husband is 92 in January. Two staff members and I supported my husband. He could have done with a bigger bed.
My mum has lived at the home for over a year. We have been so happy with the care she gets. We receive regular updates and the management team are always happy to update us.
A very good atmosphere to the place.
A lovely, friendly atmosphere and my aunt is very settled and happy here.
I am so happy with Bromley Park Care Centre. My mum is very happy there, all the staff are so nice and happy. I could not wish for a better home.
My sister is a resident and I cannot fault the care and support I have also personally been given by senior staff - along with 'care and nursing staff - to help see her settle into Bromley Park Care Centre, since her arrival late 2023! Overall, I have found all staff pleasant, caring, welcoming and easy to communicate with and equally, have been contacted when necessary to discuss her care. I find the ambience and furnishings, overall, of the home pleasant for those that wish to 'move around', including the lovely back garden grounds. Perhaps more 'activities' within for those that are 'able' to do so. My sister has gradually settled down and it is with enormous gratitude I thank all whom have helped her do so! It is difficult sometimes for us, as their family/loved ones, to understand the world they now inhabit which, of course, is even more so for that person! I would highly recommend Bromley Park Care Centre.
I think the care home could do with security cameras to make families as well as staff duties feel even more secure. The reason I say this is because my connection went into hospital with septic infection which was caused by a skin condition needing basic health care. The symptoms went undetected and nearly caused death and if there were cameras, at least the situation with weeks/months leading up to the infection becoming septic, we would have proof of the negation. This would improve the awareness not only for families but for the management.
Manager and staff are helpful and friendly, good atmosphere and appearance. When my partner went in, she looked happy there and I've seen no sign of a change in that. Cooks also look like people who care about their work. NHS supported this home. This home appears to be miles better than the other care home that my father was in, despite that being suggested by his GP.
When visiting my wife, I am always greeted with smiles from the staff. My wife is always looked after well. They shower, feed, dress her, etc. The staff are very helpful to me. It's nice to take her into the garden in the summer months. My wife does not do any activities and does not know me anymore. I am very pleased with Bromley Park. Well done.
Bromley Park Care Centre provides an excellent, caring service for our next of kin resident. All the staff create a cheerful, happy environment. There is always prompt attention to medical care.
My husband has been in the care home fifteen months now. Unfortunately, he cannot participate in any activities as he is not able to. The main staff are excellent but not all of the agency are. They seem to have no initiative. Food is well cooked and varied and since the home has recently been decorated, it is more homely. I have no complaints.
My wife spent eleven months at Bromley Park Care Centre. Throughout, I was always impressed with the care provided to all residents. I visited three times a week at random times and I only have positive thoughts about the care shown to every resident.
Mum has been in the care of Bromley Park for many years and I am constantly impressed by the patience and resilience of the staff. The more senior/long-serving members of staff have a genuine affection for her which means a lot to us. Its a tough job and they do their very best. We trust them.
Staff friendly. Leave you to have privacy with your loved one when needed but usually able to find a member of staff when needed. Staff engage well with residents. Staff mostly keep us informed of any health issues.
Wonderful staff, who do go that extra mile, friendly and knowledgeable. My thanks to them for all the help they have given my family. Easy staff, who are easy to talk to, making the whole process, user-friendly.
My brother in law has been at this home for just a year and I am very pleased with the way he is looked after. When he arrived, he didn't walk, but now he can walk with a frame and I also think he is very happy with all that goes on in the home.
The home provides a very good level of care overall. The care assistants, nurses and managers are very understanding and considerate towards the residents and family members. Communication for bookings regarding visits is sometimes patchy and would benefit from an online booking system. The staff work very hard to maintain/improve residents' fitness and it would be nice if residents were taken out of the home as restrictions are lifted, for their mental and physical well being.
As a family, we feel Bromley Park has been doing its best to keep residents safe and happy. The staff are pleasant. Our parent seems settled, considering her condition and we hope this continues. Overall, we know she is looked after. We all look forward to easier visiting, some time in the future.
I have said, based on my experience and visits and contact with Bromley Park, staff have always been excellent and very helpful and my mother in law seems to be being cared for very well. But I have not been able to visit very often and can only base this on what I have seen on my one-hour limited visits. This is not the homes fault, due to covid restrictions. Overall, very good so far. Cannot comment on all, as I do not know.
When we visit our sister, she always looks nice. Her hair looks lovely. She is always happy, if she wasn't, she would let us know. She loves her food, looks forward to mealtimes. Tells us everyone's name. Her room is nice. The staff are very good. We are sorry we haven't been to visit for a while. Thanks for all you do for her.
