View Full Details of Hadley Lawns Care HomeMy friend has only been a resident for a short period of time following a quick introduction process. I can only express how kind, helpful and supportive all the staff have been and how happy I am that my friend has settled in so well, so quickly and with great warmth. I have found all aspects to have been handled excellently. But as I have not enjoyed either food or activity personally do not feel I can rate.
Extremly attentive staff.
I found the cleanliness of the home is exceptional, there is always a smell of freshness and not the usual smell. The staff are always cheerful and caring my overall experience is great. The home manager is a real gentleman and pays immediate attention to anything raised with him. The staff member is an absolute star and I cannot imagine the home being run the way it is without her.
Since my aunt has moved into Hadley Lawns she has regained the use of her hands holding a knife and fork etc. And now has the independence again. This is some ability she lost while being in hospital care for some time being hand feed. But with the fantastic help of the staff and superb guidance from the management team she has regained some dignity again, this is nothing short of a miracle in my eyes. And the icing on the cake is that she is extremely comfortable and happy in the environment around her. And this is taking into consideration that she is blind. All this in just a week. I am personally grateful for the care, support and kindness she is receiving from an amazing team who are always happy to help.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding care and support you guys have provided to my dear friend during her time at your care home. The dedication and compassion of your team, have not gone unnoticed. I would like to extend a special thanks to the home manager who has truly transformed this care home into a warm and welcoming living place. Her leadership and commitment to improving the quality of life for the residents are remarkable. It's reassuring to know that my friend is in such caring and capable hands, and I can see the positive impact this has had on their well-being. Your facility has become a true home, and I'm grateful for the kindness and professionalism of your entire staff. Thank you for all that you do. Your hard work and commitment make a significant difference in the lives of the residents and their families. Keep up the excellent work. Warm regards.
All the staff looked after my brother really well. He enjoyed the activity room and outings. The staff always kept in touch about him as we live a long way from Hadley Lawns Care Home. They were very caring right up until the end of his life with dignity and respect. Still phoning to let us know what was happening. A very big thank you to them all.
All staff at Hadley Lawns Care Home have been very helpful and friendly towards myself and my aunt. Two staff members went above and beyond to help settle her in. She is even taking part in activities now.
I wanted a caring and friendly environment for my 98 year old mother. She regards her carers as her family and they all relate to her similarly. She is so very well looked after. The staff are kind, very caring yet extremely professional. Her general mobility and state of health is gradually declining and the staff, from Management downwards, have made a number of changes to her level of care, taking into account her current needs. Every effort is made to accommodate her personal needs. She does not feel in any way distressed and is very contented. During a recent week in hospital, away from the home, one of her carers went to visit her during her own time off work - which is so touching, and she put my mother on a video call with me so I could see how she was getting on. She was quite depressed in hospital and began to liven up within a few days of being back where she felt at home and cared for. I would recommend Hadley Lawns Care Home to anyone wanting genuine care for their loved ones.
I have given the review based on last month. However, a new manager has started and we can already see amazing changes taking place and hope this will continue. Food and nutrition needs improvement. Before the new manager started the level of care and communication to family was awful and many care and nursing staff were rude.
As a family we wanted to care for our mother at home until the end. Unfortunately her mobility deteriorated suddenly and we could not manage. She was admitted to hospital and this was a dreadful experience for all of us. From the minute she arrived at Hadley Lawns she was cared for in an exemplary and caring manner. Staff were friendly and welcoming and seemed to genuinely care about mum's welfare and also ours. Nursing staff assessed her needs and talked to us about care needs, preferences and how these could be met. I found everybody easy to talk to and willing to listen to my worries and concerns. I was impressed by the efforts made to communicate with mum. Although she expressed her wishes to go home she was happy in the company of staff and always seemed to be comfortable. If I pointed out an issue it was addressed promptly. When Mum died unexpectedly the staff could not have been kinder. I was so touched by the way so many members of staff came to her room to pay respects.
I was a resident here from April 2022 to May 2022. They took me in when I had nowhere else to go, and I shall be forever grateful. Their kindness, care, and compassion are something that I shall never forget. Hadley Lawns comes highly recommended. You or your loved one will receive the best in care.
Staff very friendly without being personal. Having a good holiday!
My friend is a long-term resident at Hadley Lawns Care Home. During that time, and having made numerous visits, I feel able to comment about continuing care spanning years and including the Covid pandemic. My friend's care has been consistently very good. She is happy in her environment and has excellent relationships with the staff. As a visitor I am always treated with friendliness and kept informed about arrangements, visiting is always a pleasure and thanks go to all the staff.
The staff are very caring and supportive. My frail mother recently wanted to attend her sister's funeral, and all arrangements were sorted by them, re wheelchair, taxi and staff support at the service. A huge relief for me. The carer who attended was wonderful in every way. The current manager is attentive and kind, and very easy to talk to. She takes her responsibility very seriously.
This is the second time my Mum has been at Hadley Lawns Care Home. Management and staff are very approachable and have created a wonderful, caring and friendly atmosphere. My Mum is on the Nursing Floor because of her needs and she always looks cared for and has settled well. She seems happy when we visit and as a family we are reassured that she is safe and her needs are being met. Staff on the floor are happy to help with any questions and are friendly and professional. My only criticism is that the laundry system is quite lacking and could definitely be improved. We requested Hadley Lawns after my Mum had another fall because they are a genuine caring home and I would have no hesitation recommending this home.
My mum has been a resident for two years now. The home is clean, friendly and welcoming, and she feels safe and happy there, which in turn gives me confidence and peace of mind that she is well looked after.
I had come for a week respite after a knee replacement operation at the hospital. Over the week my strength improved and due to the care of the staff with medication and advice, I continue to feel stronger. Care and support were excellent. My only criticism is that staff were slow to respond to requests. Sometimes breakfast, bathing etc was very late in the morning but it is a care home, maybe everything is slow!
Everyone at Hadley Lawns is caring and dedicated. They work tirelessly to ensure the best standard of care at all times, and to make life for all residents as pleasurable as possible. There is a genuinely friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Hadley Lawns, which I believed would be hard to find elsewhere. I am extremely thankful for the way the Hadley Lawns team looks after my relative.
My mother likes living at Hadley Lawns ( three years plus). She is very comfortable and kept very well. She enjoys the activities especially flower arranging. The staff are very caring and she gets on well with them.
It's great being able to visit Mum now and feel safe for her. It's been so long since I last saw her, March 7th. I hope everything stays like this from now on until the virus has gone completely and we can go back to normal life again.
