View Full Details of Havering Court Care HomeOverall care staff are friendly and helpful and there are lots of things to do to keep residents entertained.
The home is homely and the staff are respectful, with plenty to eat and drink and some freedom.
Good care home. Excellent members of staff. More staff are required.
I have always found the management and staff extremely caring and have always listened to my concerns. I am allowed to visit my husband as much as I want to (but always, I take consideration of the work they have to do)
The staff have always been warm, friendly, supportive and very caring towards my daughter. I don't see why she has been sent to a different home and not returned to Havering Court, I just hope that my daughter gets the same standard of care.
Upon arrival I was welcomed by the lovely assistant manager who had met me previously having taken time to assess my needs at the hospital. The staff here are overall truly lovely and cannot do enough to help - one member of staff in particular is a carer here and cares from her heart, another member of staff is in events and always has a cheerful chat. You are afforded space to heal and breathe, but given great care, healthy choice of food, although you arrive alone, you could never feel lonely, rooms are cleaned daily by great staff like one member of staff in particular. Will be hard to leave here. My thanks to all.
The home has provided exactly what was needed! Excellent care, attention and help. I can't thank everyone involved in her care enough. After more than 12 weeks in hospital, she constantly needed some TLC. Thank goodness she has received that at Havering Court.
It's a really good care home.
All staff are good and caring.
Can't fault the staff. Good option for food. Comfortable rooms. Good atmosphere.
My mum has been in Havering Court since September 2022, in that time we can only but compliment the home on how amazing it and the staff have been. The home itself is in a lovely setting with wildlife literally outside the window, mum regularly watches the squirrels playing outside. The home is clean and tidy, no smells at all. They have singers and other entertainment which Mum has enjoyed. As a family, we are always welcome including children and pets (or as a group). The staff are all amazing more like friends to us all. The care is 2nd to none, all residents are clean, tidy, showered, smart, and most of all quality of life is upheld at all times (inc choices). We would like to thank all of the staff that deal with Mum from nurses, carers, cleaners, etc; you are all amazing and we appreciate everything you have done for my mum and all of us as a family! Thank you for putting a smile on mums face and for the outstanding care she has received!
Every visit I do is met with the same excellent standard since the beginning of my first visit coming here. The staff are very friendly and very helpful and they go out of their way to do little extra things to make the residents comfortable.
My son is only 22 years old. He will not be here for too long. He has been here for just over two weeks and must say that the nurses and carers are brilliant. I have nothing bad to say about anyone who works here.
My dad has been in Havering Court Care Home for five months, and I have been extremely impressed by the care and service of the staff, entertainment, cleanliness and food. My dad has a brain injury, and he can be, at times, a tricky resident due to his complex mental health needs and challenges. I cannot thank the staff more for their care and support towards my dad and all of our family. They are an absolute lifeline for all of us.
Overall very happy with the service you provide. My sister was so ill and now she seems to know what is going on. Very well looked after. Send her for treatment when she needs it. They all talk to her as if they are her friends. Very pleasant to us when we visit, keep us informed of her well being.
In the 11 or so years that my brother has been in the home, he has been very well cared for. The staff are very caring and attentive and there is a true family atmosphere at the home.
A place I have stayed in before, 11 years ago on respite care while recovering from a bowel operation. A lovely wooded setting with local wildlife, birds, squirrels and deer visiting. Returned again for respite care, kind friendly management, staff, nurses and carers and cleaning and washing ladies make you feel at home and relaxed some carers and residents remember me from before.
My husband is new to the care home and we have been totally blown away by the welcome we both received and the care given to my husband so far. He has complex needs and we are both confident that he is now in the right place. We have both been listened to in the terms of his needs and the care needed and it has been clean in the care given up to now. Everyone has been friendly and interested.
My aunt has resided since 7/8/2003. I have always neem very impressed with the care provided to her and can never show enough how grateful we are. This is especially so since she became very ill this week. The care and attention given to her was unreal. Thanks all for your hard work all the time.
The care team have tried their best in being responsive to her needs and making sure she’s happy. For example, they regularly book her hair appointments to have her hair cut and dyed, knowing that this does wonders for her self esteem. She’s been making steady progress in her recovery from covid (after months in hospital intensive care). The rehab team have been giving her weekly physio sessions and the activity team provides her with daily exercise to support her physical recovery. Mum enjoys the meals and they have certainly helped in getting her appetite back after a long stint in hospital intensive care. The room is regularly cleaned and the care home have allowed her to bring in her personal items to help personalise and make her stay as comfortable as possible. We are hopeful that under the responsible care of this nursing home, she will make a steady recovery.
