The facility is well kept and clean and more importantly the staff are friendly and attentive and caring which is much appreciated.

I was very impressed by the facility of this care home. It is very well-kept and immaculately clean and tidy. The staff were very attentive and caring, nothing was too much trouble. They did their utmost to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. I would certainly recommend this care home for anyone who is in need of such care.

Since my nephew moved into the care home after a long stay in the hospital, I have noticed a significant improvement in his health. He is well catered for and he is very happy. The staff and management are friendly and supportive and have dispelled all the negative things I have heard about care homes. I would recommend the care home to anyone in a heartbeat.

The care that is given by the staff and carers to residents is excellent. Roms could do with redecorating and new furniture.

Very well managed and run care home. Always giving extra support, help and advice when needed. Excellent staff at all times. Cannot ask for a better care home.

I'm very happy with the care that my dad is receiving , very friendly, homely as well. Excellent food, great variety as well, my dad seems more relaxed as well. Even the cleaning staff are brilliant as well. The main thing is that the staff treat the residents as they would their own. Also the treat the resident with dignity and pride.

We are friends of a resident and are really pleased and relieved to see that she is being cared for very well. We understand from her that the staff are very kind and the food is good. (It does appear to be a very well-run care home).

Since my father was admitted in early 2022, I have been very pleased with the care he has received. He has a complex history of dementia, impaired mobility, incontinence and underlying disorders such as hypertension, he has made much improvement with the staff showing a lot of understanding and skill. They have kept me informed, involved me in care and adapted to challenges in care that have occurred along the way. Nursing staff, care staff, reception, cleaning staff, maintenance, activity staff and management are always approachable and friendly. They always show care and affection to my father.

So pleased my mum was able to get a place at Murrayfield. She quickly settled, greatly helped by the warm and professional approach of all the staff. Thank you so much!

Murrayfield Care Home provided much-needed support and care for my mother-in-law at a time when she had just lost her husband. The staff have been fantastic always have a smile on their faces and take time to speak to the relatives. We can see that the residents are well looked after and the home has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere but is professional in its care.

I have noticed improvement in weight since coming here and she's improved in eating. She looks well and happy. All staff are really lovely. Nurses are great.

Very good care, hard to find all the help in life. In his last days of life, he was very happy.

I find the staff very helpful and friendly, also caring. The lady in the office is always there to answer queries and is always friendly.

My uncle initially came here for respite care. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I knew this would be the care home we would choose when the time came. My uncle is now here full-time, the staff keep me up to date with his care and have nursed him back to health after he had Covid and the hospital said the outcome did not look good. He is happy here and I can't thank all the staff enough for the wonderful work they do.

It has been understandably difficult under COVID and Dad's conditions were complex with indications resulting in an incorrect dementia diagnosis. Through the care of the nurses and staff, Dad's condition improved and he was assessed as not having dementia. It has taken a long time, and Dad has endured some extreme distress, but finally, he is off the dementia floor and on the ground floor where he should be happy and safe here at Murrayfield Care Home. Thank you.

Since moving to the ground floor, my father-in-law is so much happier. His care has been good and most staff are very kind. Thank you for your kindness - even when my father-in-law was struggling.

My mother has now been a resident at Murrayfield Care Home for over two years. The care she has been given has been exemplary. My mother is bedridden and totally dependant on the staff. They are unfailingly kind and helpful. My mother is 97 and her mind is completely sharp, she is always telling me how much she appreciates the care given her by the staff. She really enjoys the food she is given and I personally am extremely grateful for the excellent care my mother is given.
