View Full Details of Southborough Nursing HomeMy husband has been at Southborough for over a year now! He is very comfortable at Southborough. We are blessed! He is looked after so well by all the staff who are all caring and always go beyond the call of duty. I would recommend Southborough Nursing Home anytime! A wonderful care home!
The lady I visit seems to be very well cared for by all the staff who are friendly and caring towards her. There are always plenty of staff around who are helpful and friendly when we visit. My judgment is based on a monthly visit. I am a friend of the lady I visit.
Southborough is a warm and friendly home, the minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. If you have a problem, the Manager's door is open and ready to listen. The care staff and domestics are very approachable, friendly and helpful. They are very caring and professional to the residents, building lovely bonds of friendship and deliver excellent care. The activities provided to service users are great and the staff aim to include everyone. My mother-in-law says she feels safe, comfortable and her dignity is well-maintained.
Absolutely lovely so happy my mum got put in here. She is so much happier I can't thank you guys enough for everything you do. The communication is on point in the way you guys make sure Mum is ok and keep me informed as to her well-being. I'm really looking forward to the events you have coming up too. Thanks again to all of you.
Entrusting my sister's care to a nursing home was a very difficult decision. The Southborough Nursing Home were wonderful from day one. A very tough day for me and my sister but the management, nursing staff, carers and other staff all rallied around to welcome us both and make us feel assured. My sister didn't settle well but with the help of the staff and the event's manager, she has started to enjoy the many things the home has to offer. Days out to the seaside, London and local parks. Lunches in the Southborough garden and making friends with others in the home. It is never a happy path having to place a loved one into a nursing home but the Southborough has made such a transition so much easier.
Excellent management, support and guidance to assist my father's relocation to the care home. Staff provide the right level of care needs for my father and work beyond to provide a comfortable living environment for my father. Nurses follow medical procedures without fail and ensure all medical needs are addressed timely. The care home is in need of upgrade/refurbishment to keep a modern and refreshed appearance.
The care home is welcoming and presentable but can do with some refurbishment. The staff and management are friendly and supportive. The food quality and variety can be improved. The rooms and furniture need a definite upgrade. The nurse's station should have a dedicated space.
I visit a resident in your home regularly and I find the staff most helpful, hospitable and caring. The home is very clean and neat and always staff very good at listening to the resident even when it's not easy.
I can say that I always felt welcome by the management and staff in Southborough Care Home. The staff are caring and friendly and do their best to look after all the residents, seeing to their various needs and concerns. It is a friendly place. I can recommend it highly.
Today my friend and I visited Fulham Palace with other residents from Southborough. Despite dreadful weather, cobblestones, and restricted corridors we had a wonderful time! The staff were so kind and thoughtful. Smiling despite some difficult situations, always positive and encouraging. This was a very special day for my friend and me and I am so thankful to the staff.
When my sister first went to Southborough five years ago, she was on the brink of death through not eating and drinking. She also had a gaping hole of a wound on her lower back that you could put your fist through! The wonderful nursing care my dear sister received at Southborough nursed her back to life, the wound healed and she had five more happy years at Southborough. My sister was always saying to me, “I love it here and I really mean it”. She was well looked after, with lovely meals made by the chef, they have activities set out each week of each month. The staff celebrate every possible occasion by decorating the lounge. The residents play games, dance, if able, singing, painting, entertainment is laid in most weeks with singers and musicians. They make a fuss on birthdays with Birthday cakes. Most importantly you are notified of any concerns about your relative. I highly recommend this nursing home for your loved one, you can relax knowing they are in safe hands.
Very professional and friendly staff, home and facilities. The way all the staff and carers look after my elderly father is a true credit to the company. I personally and highly recommend Southborough Nursing Home.
Excellent environement. Excellent service. Wonderful staff. Very happy with all the service provided.
Having spent my life in care, I cannot express how impressed I am with Southborough Nursing Home. The manager makes herself so available and helpful. The welcome at the front door by the administrator and staff. The love and care of the staff to the residents. The atmosphere is so good. Proof of all this is the 100% improvement in better care since my friend was admitted. Thank you to you all.
The home is warm and comfortable. Staff very friendly, and my husband gets on with them very well (dementia). They answer all our questions satisfactorily. Plenty of parking spaces.
I'm overwhelmed by the standard of care given to my mother. She came here in an agitated state after five weeks in the hospital and had bad experiences in her previous care home. Mum is now calm and contended. She is no longer fearful, and her delusions have subsided. Thank you for all your kindness and compassion and for treating Mum with such dignity and respect.
My father received excellent care, all the staff were very caring, helpful and very supportive to me and my family, nothing was too much trouble. My father was at end of life care when he went to Southborough Nursing Home and I am sure that by being cared for by the home, he lived longer.
My experience over the past year of this home is exemplary. I have witnessed extreme care and dignity of my husband. I'm always welcomed warmly on my daily visits and feel at home. The consideration to me personally is faultless, they keep me informed of all aspects of my husband's health plus any tests, etc. Well done Southborough!
Warm and friendly regular staff and nurses who take their role responsibly and with pride. A well-decorated happy home with a lovely garden and a great menu. Southborough always seems to be looking at ways to improve by actively asking and listening to residents and relatives. Events and activities are well thought out and looking forward to spring time when trips outside the home may be organised. I'm very pleased to have found this home for Mum.
My brother was well looked after here. He was comfortable and happy staying at Southborough.
