View Full Details of Sundridge Court Nursing HomeUpon every visit to my aunt the staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Always willing to help with any queries or needs. My aunt is well cared for and appears happy in the home. She likes the staff and is always smiling and holding their hands. As she is unable to verbally communicate this is very important to her and meets her social needs. She may not always join in the activities but is aware of all that is going on and clearly enjoys the interaction. After a period of 8 week respite we have now confirmed a permanent contract moving forward in the knowledge that my aunt will continue to be cared for in the best possible way. Thank you to all the staff!
My mother had been in Sundridge Park Care Home 18 months after a hospital stay. Her care is always good with very caring staff. She is fed well and safe which was our concern about her move to a care home. The staff are patient with dad who visit's every day, and always on hand for a chat about concerns we might have.
My sister has been in Sundridge Court Nursing Home for just over a year. She is so well looked after. Her nurses are lovely and very kind. The admin staff are very helpful and I really appreciate how kind they were to me when I was arranging my sister's admission. When I came to see the nursing home, as soon as I walked in I thought it had a lovely atmosphere. It felt really homely and I knew my sister would be happy there. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you from me and my sister.
My husband spent a 2 week respite at Sundridge Court Nursing Home while I recovered from an operation as he needs some nursing care. All the staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring he settled in and that he felt comfortable. He would like to thank all the staff for the care and attention they gave him. His room was clean and had recently been repainted. The sink and toilet could do with an update but everything was functional.
My mum has been really well looked after since she went in to the care home. The staff have all been really helpful and caring. Any issues she has had have been dealt with quickly and resolved. While the refurbishment work was being done the staff were very good at making sure she was comfortable. Refurbishing the communal areas of course has only highlighted that the individual rooms need to be updated as well. If Aria Care really want to make a big impression they need to do something with the individual rooms. I have every confidence in the staff at this home and feel they are doing a very good job.
My mother's stay at Sundridge Court was only for a few months but her care was excellent. The care and nursing staff are wonderful and we very much felt that she was part of the family. They were welcoming and warm towards us from the outset. My mother sadly passed away, we were so grateful that she spent her last days in such a caring and homely environment. We are grateful to all the wonderful staff for their support and compassion.
Overall excellent and very attentive care shown by all the staff at Sundridge Court. The nursing and care teams were fantastic as were the kitchen team, preparing delicious meals for the residents and cups of tea and biscuits for the relatives visiting.
My mother is a resident. She is happy and well looked after by the staff. Always found the manager and staff very helpful and always happy to have a chat about Mum.
Everybody was friendly and polite. They were helpful, if there was a problem they were quick to solve it. The food was excellent and presented nicely. The staff meet the needs of the residents. Residents or patient everyone was treated the same. Staff kept me updated with regards to Mum's eating, or any concerns they had. The home is smaller than some, but it has a cosy feel and for some residents it provides a safe and calm environment. Personally, I would recommend.
If you are looking for a kind, caring nursing home where you and your loved one will be treated with respect and dignity, please do not consider Sundridge Court. My Dad and I thought we had found the perfect place for my lovely Mum when she was deemed 'end of life' last year - but we couldn't have been more wrong. In the end, I managed to move her out after only 13 days and into an amazing local residential home with the full support of a hospice. Upon leaving, Mum was found to be suffering from all kinds of ailments due to the lack of care she received at Sundridge Court, and I am so thankful she was only there for 13 days. I have not been able to write my review until now as I have been involved with official complaints, against Sundridge Court and the Manager there, both with Bromley Social Services and Aria Care Head Office. I am restricted as to what I can say, but please do not choose this home for your loved one.
I feel the staff very helpful, my mum is getting the best help she could ask for is very happy with the way mum is being looked after.
My mother was here for approximately two years and I was very happy with the care she received and all the friendly helpful staff. I found the lady in admin exceptionally helpful.
My father was very happy at Sundridge Court. He did not want to ever have to be moved to another home. As a devout Christian, he was very happy that staff acknowledged his wishes and always treated him with respect and consideration. Being bedbound, he needed everything done for him and he was very satisfied with the care he received. His room was always clean and tidy and whilst he was hospitalised, his room was decorated. I would definitely recommend Sundridge Court to others.
I regularly visit Sundridge Court with my Pets as Therapy dog Flo. I have always been made to feel very welcome and love connecting with the residents. All the staff are extremely caring and friendly.
I find the home very cheery, and it has a homely feeling. Asa visitor, I am always made to feel welcome and often offered a nice cup of tea. I have watched my friend leave her home and is now safe and happy. I am delighted that she would now prefer it to her own home.
Everybody has been very kind and considerate to him and supportive of me; there is always a happy atmosphere. The residents are well entertained; they have events monthly which I’m always invited to and enjoy.
My aunt was taken in by Sundridge in the middle of Covid in 2020 from a hospice. She was always treated with loving care and respect, always in contact with me as next of kin when necessary. The home went out of its way to arrange video calls for me to keep in touch when unable to travel down from Yorkshire. Through the chaos of the pandemic, I feel they always worked as hard as they could to manage my aunt’s care in the most difficult of circumstances. I deeply appreciate all the staff, from the administrator to the manager. My aunt was in Sundridge for nearly three years through to her death in March 2023. They gave me peace of mind and my aunt a sense of safety and security.
My 91-year-old mother has been here since the end of January 2023, having arrived in quite a poorly state from the hospital. We have nothing but praise for the home - the staff are wonderful, kind and caring and very competent in their roles, be they the manager, admin, nursing or care teams; they all seem to have genuine care and interest in all the residents and making their time there as beneficial and fruitful as possible. We have excellent channels of communication, and nothing is too much trouble for us to discuss as relatives. We are so glad we chose this nursing home for Mum. It is well decorated, and the rooms are very pleasant, with a lovely garden. We like the fact that it is quite small and feels more like ‘home’, cosy and warm.
The staff here are exceptionally kind and caring and provided excellent care to my mother for the last eighteen months of her life. She was always treated with dignity and respect and she felt happy and safe. I felt very confident that she was valued as an individual. I would recommend it unreservedly. The family always felt welcome whenever we visited and included in the many events for residents.
My friend has "blossomed" since she has been in your care. Staff have gone the extra mile for her, and it s very touching. We attended the garden party and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. All the staff on and off duty couldn't do enough for us.
