View Full Details of Park House Care HomeWe were so fortunate to find this home to look after our loved one. The care was very good and the staff looked after every aspect of the care, with dedication and to a very high standard. We do not hesitate in recommending the home and the care received at Park House.
You all need gold medals for what you all do. Big thank you from our family.
The staff were always welcoming and friendly and invited me to lunch whenever I was there. I was never in doubt that Dad was being cared for well.
During my father's stay in the care home. All of the staff were very caring and considerate, ensuring that my father was very well looked after. He often commented on how good the food was and the choice and was extremely appreciating of the care and kindness shown to him. We particularly enjoyed the summer garden party, the live singer, it was evident that the residents were well looked after and had an enjoyable time.
Having had a very positive previous experience with Park House, it was an easy decision to go with them again. Management was very supportive in assessing needs, arriving at a mutually agreeable financial solution and making the move as painless as possible. All staff we met were professional, friendly and supportive.
Warm, welcoming family atmosphere. All staff treated Mum with respect and genuinely cared. We as a family were always made to feel welcome. The food was amazing and the staff went out of their way. Mum spent only a month at Park House for her end-of-life care but was treated with dignity. Thank you.
The staff were very friendly and caring. Although the resident was only there for a week, they treated him and us as if we had known them for months. The room was clean and well-fitted. The care was excellent.
My mother was looked after at Park House for 20 months. Her nursing requirements were complex. The nursing team tended to her with professionalism and kindness. The care staff were also kind, friendly, and polite and respectful to her. The home is well managed i.e. clean and the rooms are well appointed. It is in a quiet, peaceful location. You are welcome to visit and spend time with your relation.
Our cousin was admitted for a short while in Park House and received excellent care. The care home manager couldn’t be more helpful and we thank her and all the staff for the care they gave her before she passed.
Friendly staff, homely feel and never felt too busy or overcrowded. We needed somewhere that offered nursing care but a home environment. Only resident for a short while (2 months) but felt supported and safe. Only wish it had a longer and Dad had been able to be more integrated with other residents/activities. Facilities good, rooms clean and functional. Very caring during the last few days of Dad's life.
Very friendly staff from cleaner to homeowner. Food good and plentiful. Problem with the room to start but quickly fixed by maintenance. Lovely atrium open-air space. Flowers were looked after and gardens. Overall my few days were good ones.
I had an operation June 23rd 2023, in hospital for five weeks. On discharge, I sought respite/recuperation time before going back home. Park House Care Home provided me with nursing care. Excellent surroundings and good choice of foods etc.
Outstanding in every way and cannot recommend Park House Care Home enough. The care was carried out with such respect and everybody including the cleaning staff, kitchen staff treated Mum extra special. Also as a family, we couldn't have been looked after any better and everybody went above and beyond to take care of us too. Mum wasn't there very long but it gave us peace of mind that even though we weren't with her she was being well taken care of. Cannot thank Park House enough.
I found the staff to be very professional welcoming and caring. I was not there at meal times but my friend said she was very happy with the choices offered and she had nothing but praise for the care given by the service providers. The staff were very attentive and kept her comfortable at all times.
My uncle seemed content in this home, although he seemed a little isolated. Not sure how often he joined in the activities, whether due to the problems hoisting him into a chair or his disinterest in going. He liked seeing what was happening and with his back to the door, he only heard movement. The carers seemed kind and patient with my stubborn uncle, especially over his refusal to eat. One disappointing thing, I asked if they wanted me to donate my uncle's clothes to charity. I was told they would do this, they put the things in a skip.
Overall care and support given are very good. Plenty of activities for residents. We arrived for our visit and the door code had been changed but we had received no communication os this.
Mum has for many years been resident at Park House and has been very well looked after. Recently she has had a medical condition that has required specific care. Thanks to the high level of care she has received regarding this problem it is now not a major issue.
Park House Care Home is a friendly caring home. Staff are always checking and chatting with residents. I pop in at different times and standards are always good. If I have to go into a care home I would want to come to Park House.
Find all the staff friendly and welcoming and the room clean and tidy with a pleasant atmosphere.
We are lucky to have this home near us and I can't recommend it enough. Mum has been in this care home for 6 years and from the day she went in, she loved it and is very happy there. The staff there are fantastic, just can't do enough, and I think it is a special home in the country. Mum gets a lot of stimulation and care and attention. Food portions are good, varied food, and your loved one won't go hungry! Staff go the extra mile and you see them treat our parents as if they were their own mum and dad. We know each time we leave there, our parents are safe and happy and well. And are treated with such dignity and respect. Thank you to everyone there!! The home got through Covid almost untouched due to its high cleanliness - and is a real testament to how well they run it. They also treat us all as if we are all part of the Park House family - and make us all feel cared for, not just our mum! I just hope I end up in a care home like this when it is my time.
