View Full Details of Beacher Hall Care HomeI would like to wish everybody at Beacher Hall Care Home a happy and healthy New Year. Thank you for looking after my dad for the last 6 years you have all been great. To know that dad is happy is the best feeling for and I can go to bed every night rest assured that he is safe is all I could wish for.
My dad has been at Beacher Hall Care Home for about six years and he is very happy there, the staff are all lovely and always willing to talk to you and help you with any queries. My dad could not be in a better place.
Excellent care and activities, lovely welcoming staff and always friendly and helpful. The food is always plentiful and good quality. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff. They have helped us settle in and feel welcome.
My brother has been in Beacher for over a year- staff are always lovely and if we have to ask for anything they are always happy to help. The building and garden are well-kept and very clean. Food always looks and smells lovely.
Lovely care home clean and friendly staff shout out to the nurses looking after my auntie very reassuring to know she is in great care. The care has recently had a major decor update that looks great.
I have a family friend at the care home and she is always happy and the care she receives is amazing! Nothing is ever too much for the staff that care for her. She was admitted to the care home more than four years ago and I visit her every week and she is doing so well.
Since Mum moved into Beacher Hall for end-of-life care, the care she has received has been absolutely outstanding. The nurses and management take great care of her, meaning family members are reassured when we are not there ourselves. Beacher Hall has a lovely activities rota, and the staff keep it spotless at all times. I am beyond grateful for the first-class care that Mum is receiving. It has been a huge help during what has been an extremely difficult and emotional time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Beacher Hall.
My wife has been a resident at Beacher Hall for a long time and we are both very grateful for the care that she receives. All the staff are friendly, helpful and professional and nothing seems to be too much trouble. There is a full and varied activity program (although my wife chooses not to use it very much) and occasional events that relatives can join in with. The food is very good. It is a great shame that my wife needs the care that she does but, given that, we couldn't ask for a better place for her to be.
Excellent care and activities are provided for residents in a very caring atmosphere. All staff and volunteers are very caring and supportive at the Home - thoroughly recommended as a choice of care home.
Great service, friendly staff. Lovely people around. I've lived at Beacher Hall Care Home for a few years now and I like it here, it's alright! Most of the time I'm busy with activities, socialising. Plenty of people to talk to, lots of personalities.
I cannot speak more highly of the care that has been given to my husband. All managers and staff behave in such a beautiful way in dealing with my husband. His dementia has progressively worsened, my poor husband suffers with vascular dementia and non hodgkin's lymphoma cancer. The bouts of chemo have helped the growth shrink slightly in his bowel. My husband has endured so much these last few months and I am saddened he is now in a care facility. However, I feel that at Beacher Hall Care Home my husband is extremely well cared for, safe from all harm and as I say the level of care is without doubt truly wonderful.
I've been living here for nearly ten years. The staff are always happy, friendly and approachable. All my needs are catered for. Nurses work really nard. Physio is brilliant. When I come out of a physio session, I feel euphoric! I like activities and outings a lot. I enjoy the food here too. I like a lot of the different cultural dishes the kitchen provides.
What a fabulous home for people to live and recuperate. Staff that work as a team with a friendly welcome great food and nothing seems to much trouble. Even during a refurb there is still the same amount of care and activities on offer and residents needs are put first. I am sure it will all look great when the refurbishment is finished.
My Mum got moved to Beacher Hall a few months ago for rehab and physio after spending a year in a much more local one to myself. We cannot fault any of the staff or the physio provided. However, for someone with full mental capacity, it is not suitable. The vast majority of other residents obviously had serious brain injuries and required 24/7 support. It was advertised as a full activity programme which consisted of not much. Especially none suitable for my Mum. The food on offer was not what we expected for the cost. Half the time the food my Mum ordered was not available, was cold or inedible. Again we will not be going back but would recommend the staff and physio. May be ideal for short-term respite or for residents needing more 24/7 care.
A good care home, friendly staff and a low turnover of staff. Currently refurbishing all the rooms- shows a long-term commitment by Bupa to this sector.
My mum has been at Beacher Hall for many years, and we have never once regretted choosing the home for her, she's well cared for by the dedicated staff, the food always smells delicious, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone amused, and the physio staff work miracles. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by the lovely ladies, the home is relaxed and is currently having a huge makeover covering the whole building, the residents even get to choose their own room colour scheme.
Since I first came here, every one of the carers has been caring, compassionate and always ready to listen to any troubles that I might have here. Can't fault them in any way. The activities team work so hard in thinking up new things that we can do, they accomplish that very well. Always listen to you and are so patient and kind to everyone.
A very good care home. Safe, clean and activities for patients. 80% of staff are good, 5% are not particularly good or motivated and 15% are excellent, helpful, confident, pleasant and efficient. In all, a very good care home, is expensive but I guess all such homes are expensive in today's world. Food is reasonable and varied, sometimes not good and sometimes very good. Good physiotherapy department with very capable staff. Variety of recreational activities.
The staff in the home are very helpful in helping me with my mobility and day-to-day care. The food is very good and lots to choose from. I am happy being here and I would recommend this care home.
Clothes have been left on overnight on more than one occasion. Rooms in poor condition. The physio department is excellent. Nursing staff, caring at times, short staffed. Standards have deteriorated in the past few years. More one-to-one time spent with my sister.
