View Full Details of Woodbury House Care CentreInitial contact with manager was very encouraging. We were welcomed and shown around the care home and facilities on offer. A follow-up visit arranged and all answers given to our satisfaction. The meal menu is very good, healthy food and good portion sizes served. Mum has settled well and is making use of the facilities on offer. She is well looked after by the care workers and Mum feels much better now.
Woodbury House has exceptional care for all residents. The staff are very friendly and caring. Any concerns are dealt with immediately. The level of meeting the resident's needs are always met. The staff work very hard. The home has also got activities which my mother has enjoyed and enjoys doing. There are church services in the home now and then which she can attend. The food is of a good standard. The whole atmosphere at Woodbury is very homely and it has been kept at a high standard.
My mum has settled in really well and is being looked after with great care and consideration. She's not been here for very long, but it's a great relief for her family that we don't need to worry about her welfare. Staff and manager are extremely kind and ready to help anytime.
Everyone has been very kind and helpful. My husband has settled very well due to the care given by all the staff.
Fantastic place! My dad has come urgently and the staff have been so helpful and kind. Dad is happy too which is the main thing. Facilities are great and fantastic surroundings too. Excellent care overall.
Woodbury House is a fantastic place down to the lovely caring staff and even the surroundings outside. Mum is very happy and beginning to settle. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a care home to book a visit.
The staff at Woodbury House looked after my mother very well. They are a wonderful staff, always professional with a caring approach. They understand my mother's needs very well. I had great confidence in their skill. Any questions I had were addressed sensitively and fully. I especially thank one member of staff, in particular, who was a huge support to my mother, a wonderful professional. I have only praise for the way in which the staff managed my mother's final days. They treated her with great gentleness and did everything to make her last days as comfortable as possible. They also supported us, her close family very well too.
Nursing care has been excellent. Mum settled well now. The room is lovely with great views.
The home is clean although the staff have told me it's being updated slowly. The staff are helpful and always offer me a coffee. I enjoy my time visiting.
Mum's care in Woodbury has been exemplary. The staff are kind and patient and treat mum well. The medical care has been excellent and we get regular updates on her condition. It was hard to move mum as she had been in the same house for nearly 60 years but I know she is happy here for which I am very grateful. All the family loves to visit as everyone is so friendly.
A very warm welcome from all the staff, made us feel very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. All had to be arranged so fast but there was no pressure and my mother seems extremely calm and relaxed, at last, we may have found just the right place. Beautiful grounds, warm, so much to see and touch for those with dementia. Many thanks.
Woodbury House Care Centre is a good care home and my mother's experience has been very good. The staff are kind, attentive and caring. I would like to see more proactive communication between the management and the families, but I am sure this is being addressed.
A wonderful, uplifting place! My mother is so happy and settled at Woodbury House. All her physical needs are met, but more importantly, so is her emotional well-being. I am so grateful to all the lovely people who are so kind to Mum. Thank you!
My husband has been at the nursing home for just over a year now. He has received nothing but the best treatment and care. I am very satisfied with all aspects of the home. All the staff and carers could not have been more loving and helpful to both of us. The entertainment laid on is always very enjoyable with first-class acts. The musical sing-along had everyone singing and clapping and made us all feel happy and nostalgic for the past. All the food provided is excellent, nutritious and tasty. Many thanks to all the staff and carers from both of us.
My mum was placed into Woodbury House when leaving the hospital in March 2022. The care she has been given and is getting is, in my opinion, first-class. She is on end-of-life care, and all the staff that deal with her take such care and also take time to sit with her and look after all her needs; a great place for her to see out the rest of her time. The staff always have time to talk through the ongoing needs, and if any changes are needed to her care plan, they always call me if anything happens so that I know what is going on. Not able to review activities as she is bedbound and not able to take part in any.
My relative has been here for a short while and we have only experienced positive care and patience shown by management and all staff. Everyone has time to assist and help. We feel comfortable and secure in the care that my uncle is receiving at Woodbury House Care Centre and the future looks bright.
My husband has had excellent care since he was admitted to Woodbury House in September '21. All the staff have been so kind and patient with him and he has received first-class treatment at all times. I have been made to feel most welcome when I visit and I would like to thank all the staff for the way we have both been looked after.
Very efficient pre-visit tests and staff extremely friendly and caring.
My mother has received consistently high standards of care. She is looked after very well - the staff are kind and considerate. They are aware of her needs and do everything they can to make sure she feels comfortable and secure.
What a wonderful place. Woodbury House has been and continues to be, brilliant. Grandma is getting the best care from highly skilled and deeply compassionate staff and I cannot be more grateful. Their Memory Unit is superb in its quality of care, its presentation (it's gorgeously fitted out - light and airy!) and its staff, with such an emphasis on letting the dementia patient live their own way without being forced into things they don't want to do. My grandma has the choice of when to get up, what she wants to eat, and all of the freedoms she would have at home - they care so much about preserving the patient's preferences, which is so important when your loved one has dementia. It's like one big family. The icing on the top of the cake? Grandma, quite unprompted and spontaneously, said to me, "I'm happy!" I can rest easily, safe in the knowledge she is getting the care and attention she needs. I look forward to every visit and I always wish I can stay longer. Give them a medal.
