We would just like to say a huge thank you to one member of staff, in particular, and the home for attending and caring for my mother-in-law at my father-in-law's reception after his funeral on 10th January.

My friend and I work for a homecare agency and we used to care for the resident before she came to Burnham Lodge. We cared for her in her own home and become very fond of her and loved caring for her so we have remained friends and also with the family. We have visited twice now and have been so impressed with the amazing customer service and very warm welcome, we even received lunch! We can clearly see how happy and relaxed our friend is.

My dad spent six weeks at Burnham Lodge - the staff were all professional, experienced, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, caring, went above and beyond expectations. Food was perfect, absolutely loved this place and all the staff, from cleaners to carers, nurses and management, what an establishment, they should all be proud of the work they do. Promoting choice and independence. My dad will definitely return here if he needs to in the future, without a doubt. Honestly, this care home has exceeded the expected standards of care and my dad will miss you all.

This was my first visit to Burnham Lodge. I was assisted for my visit by one nurse in particular. She immediately understood my job role as IMCA and was very helpful and accommodating. She was naturally very busy ensuring residents were looked after, and kindly took the time to help me to find the information to familiarize myself with the residents' relevant information that I needed. She was super friendly, professional and put me at ease during my visit. Thank you to that particular nurse and the team.

All the staff have been fantastic, going above and beyond to understand and adapt to my mother’s changing care needs. They are caring, empathetic and compassionate. My mother's dignity is their priority and their care is always delivered with a smile. The team make the whole family feel welcome.

I knew as soon as I walked into Burnham Lodge that it was a special place; it was so welcoming and homely. From the outset, the whole team has been brilliant and I can't thank them enough for everything they have done to personalise my mum's care and to help her feel relaxed and happy in her new home. I am amazed by the variety of the activities programme and the beautiful grounds are the icing on the cake. After a stressful couple of months, it's such a relief to know my mum is being cared for with such respect and kindness.

The staff are so friendly and respectful and have really got to know out dad so well with all of his funny traits! My brother and I are kept well informed of how he has been and we particularly enjoyed all of the Christmas activities which really showed how the staff went that extra mile for all residents and families. We are very fortunate that our dad is staying here and being looked after so well. Thank you.

Excellent service all round from the whole team and making my parents both smile again after a hard time at their home before moving to you. Simply perfection and the smile on my parents' faces in your pictures, simply perfect, and made my Christmas, thank you loads.

My wife is a resident in Burnham Lodge Care Home and has received nursing care since her admission during May 2022, with an advanced stage of dementia known as PCA (posterior cortical atrophy); this disease affects relatively younger people. She has received outstanding care from excellent nurses and carers. I pretty much visit her every day, so have a very good insight into the home. The staff are very friendly, extremely polite and are very responsive to any needs that we have. Her room is spotless and cleaned daily. Most importantly, she is in a very safe place which is critical owing to her vulnerability and provides me and my family with real peace of mind. The food is very good and always served in good time. We are very fortunate to have found this home.

My mum has been staying in Burnham Lodge Care Home for the last three years. I am very pleased with the level of care she is receiving and also the communication I get from the home. Her requirements are very complicated and the staff find ways to manage her care well which I wasn't able to provide for her anymore. I am incredibly grateful to all the carers looking after my mum and would not hesitate to recommend Burnham Lodge to anyone looking for residential care.

My mother was lucky and blessed to come and live in Burnham Lodge. First days she was very nervous and also weak, but now whenever I come, my mother's personality and her strength has returned. She always looks happy and relaxed and very confident that staff come and help to offer support plus laughter to her daily life. I feel very welcome and now I am less worried about Mum because she feels valued and her health is evident.

My mum recently passed away at Burnham Lodge. I cannot express my gratitude for the care and kindness she experienced there. The staff were most sensitive and caring for Mum. They made myself and my sister at ease knowing Mum was in the best hands. Thank you so much.

My sister spent 2 weeks respite at Burnham Lodge. This was a completely new experience for us as she has always been cared for by family. She settled in well and this was down to the wonderful caring staff. They always took the time to see if she needed anything and always with a smile. We feel she was very well cared for and enjoyed her time there and this gave our family a much-needed break. Thank you all for making Burnham Lodge feel like a home from home!

I have nothing but praise for the all the staff and facilities at this lovely care home. My mother was brought to Burnham Lodge for nursing care following a four-week stay at the hospital, and from the outset, she has received loving care and attention. All the staff are willing and happy to help with my mother's needs, the rooms are clean, bright and suitably equipped, and the grounds are beautiful.

Mum was at Burnham Lodge for seven weeks. The staff were very caring, compassionate and professional. Sadly Mum passed away sooner than anticipated. The staff were very kind and made the last few days more peaceful and easier to bear.

I cannot speak highly enough of this home. Although my father's stay was short, he was excellently looked after. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, whatever their job was, nurse, carer, reception, even the decorators. I thoroughly recommend this care home.

Thank you for the opportunity for me to say how very grateful we are as a family that you have all looked after my dad so well since his admittance. All the staff have been very caring and helpful and the general feeling about the place is good and positive. The place is always very clean and pleasant to be in, which is helped by the staff, who are always ready to help and are so considerate. A special thank you for being such a kind, caring person goes to the deputy manager, she is an angel who really makes us relatives feel like we are being considered in the process of losing our loved ones. The first time I met her at Wexham Park hospital, I thought, yes, she is a good person and all the family think the same. Thank you also to the carers who have the difficult job of looking after our loved ones and the chef who does everything he can to give my dad what he wants to eat. Well done to all of the staff.

I am extremely grateful to all members of staff, carers, nurses and medical staff, chefs and managers at Burham Lodge for not only looking after my mum and going above and beyond for her but also for their immense support, care, understanding and attention towards our whole family. Everyone has treated my mum, and us (family) with such dignity, respect and love and I could not thank you all enough for the amazing role and part you play in the lives of the residents of the care home and their families. My wife was admitted to Burnham Lodge. The assessment was thorough and detailed. All aspects of activities of daily living, medical and cultural needs were assessed comprehensively. The staff, including the manager, were very friendly and professional in their approach, whilst maintaining a homely attitude. We discussed her dietary needs with the chef, who was very accommodating. A very high standard of care is delivered by one and all.

Mum was at Burnham Lodge for seven weeks. The staff were very caring, compassionate and professional. Sadly Mum passed away sooner than anticipated. The staff were very kind and made the last few days more peaceful and easier to bear.
