View Full Details of Hampden Hall Care CentreFriendly and attentive staff who look after their residents with real care and compassion. There's always someone available to talk to about my dad and it's clear they have got to know him over the few months he's been here. Facilities are very good, there's a pleasant environment for the residents, and the food always looks and smells good. Very grateful my dad is able to stay in such a lovely place and receive the care that he needs.
My father is currently staying ay Hampton Hall in an interim NHS hub bed, as he is being assessed for on going care. I can not stress how absolutely amazing the staff are in Hampden House, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are kind, compassionate, and utterly dedicated to the welfare and comfort of the residents. If the home was located to my father's home town I would have absolutely no qualms in requesting for his continued care to be given by this truly loving group of people.
My father is well cared for at Hampden Hall Care Centre. Following a fall at home my father arrived at the centre and was anxious and unsettled, with the care and support of the staff he has settled into a new routine and is encouraged to do as much as he can independently. His wellbeing has improved and he is now much happier than when he lived alone. From a family point of view the care staff have been very supportive, friendly and easy to talk to. We know he is safe, well cared for an has the support he needs when he needs it.
I have been very pleased with the way all the staff react towards my mother since her arrival. They are cheerful and kind and react sympathetically to her needs and wishes. Their attitude is so important to me as with her fluctuating dementia, her behaviour can be inconsistent. Her appearance is always that of being well cared for. The qualified staff are good at asking for family input into decision making. The home has a welcoming atmosphere starting with a great reception team and opening visiting shows there is a true picture of how everything functions.
I was impressed by the high quality accommodation and care offered at Hampden Hall. Also by the high standard of professionalism. and empathy regarding my mothers 6 year stay. I'm very grateful to the staff at cedar unit.
I would without hesitation recommend Hampden Hall Care Home. My stepdad was fortunate to finally after 5 years fighting for help offered a permanent placement and I was so grateful finally he was close to enable me to visit daily before his final journey. Dementia is a cruel disease that takes a piece of someone everyday. Although his stay was suddenly cut short I would like to thank each and everyone from reception to nurses. My stepdad was treated with dignity and care during his stay and your kindness towards myself and him didn't go unnoticed. Any concerns were immediately brought to my attention with a telephone call. Thank you to each and everyone who cared for him you are a credit to the care system.
Mum / Nanna has been a resident at Hampden Hall since Spring 2023; she arrived from a protracted stay in hospital care and we were fortunate enough to secure her a forever home here. She had had to give up her dear cat and little cottage and had been fiercely independent; Hampden Hall staff managed a tricky transition; they were, and continue to be, wonderful. The love, care and dedication is obvious the moment you step into the home. The peace of mind this has given the entire family is immeasurable. We know that her final years are good ones: dignity, love and quality care afford the staff every star. Thank you to you all. You are special folk.
I have just got home and poured myself a glass of wine after visiting my relative. The reason I have said that is that I know I can relax and enjoy it because I know they are safe and looked after. I think its important for you all to know what an important job you do and how much it means to the families of residents. I know its a demanding job, but to hear my Dad saying he has had a lovely shower, or that he really appreciates how quickly you attend to him, or that he has had a great chat with one of the carers means the absolute world. So keep doing what you do and know it makes such a difference to so many. Thank you.
My mum became a temporary respite client here December 2024 and I am now fighting to keep her here permanently. On arrival I felt an instant warm welcome. The staff were exceptional and still are to this day! This is the best care home I've ever come across and my mum has settled in lovely. I feel so happy that we found this wonderful place and I can totally relax knowing my mum is here and in the best hands I could ever have wished for. I give this place and the staff a five star rating!
My wife's sister has been in care since the beginning of January 2025 and we have made several visits since then. Our judgement on all occasions is that this is a very well run Care Home. The pleasantness/ friendliness of staff is always there, and the attentiveness given to residents is first class. Notable cleanliness is just one part of a very good environment. This has left us with no anxiety whatsoever, and we thank you for the relief this gives us.
Warm and friendly environment. Staff are all excellent, it's great to know my mum is safe, cared for and comfortable.
All staff showed respect to my husband and gave him dignity, particularly at the end-of-life care. I was consulted at all points of care and medical care. My husband's wishes and mine were kept. The level of discretion, care, comfort and compassion were shown to the highest degree as was the professionalism from the cleaner, receptionist up to the carers and nurses.
My husband was a resident in Hampden Hall for nearly 2 years and treated with care and consideration always. His needs were always addressed, chiropody, hairdressing, manicures. End of of life care was excellent I was able to stay with him and the staff were very kind and caring. I can't recommend Hampden Hall enough.
My mum has been staying at Hampden Hall Care Centre for respite since suffering a fall and breaking her ankle. What we hoped would be a short stay resulted in longer than expected with several health issues along the way. I can not thank the team enough for their support, kindness and care to my mum throughout her stay. All staff are so dedicated to care with true compassion and it shows in everything they do. Thank you!
I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff at Hampden Hall who looked after my father until his passing at the beginning of September. Living abroad, it was always a great comfort to me to know that until my next visit, I was leaving him in the hands of such caring, considerate professionals and that he would always be looked after well. I know they did everything in their power to make sure the last few years of his life were lived in as much comfort and tranquillity as possible. Thank you.
So pleased I visited my sister in this lovely home which was a far departure (for the good) from the previous home I have visited over the years. We were treated on arrival and by the time of our second visit, the lovely helpful receptionist knew our names. Above all, there were no smells of body odour on my sister's floor. The staff were kind and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The equipment is excellent, the atmosphere was calm and comfortable.
I have to admit, having visited many other relatives in care homes, I was expecting 'the smell'. I was very pleasantly surprised. Everywhere was clean and fresh, with no sticky tables or chairs or door handles. My cousin was clearly happy here. The staff were all very caring and helpful. They seemed happy with the work they were doing. The receptionist was lovely. I am confident my cousin is being really well looked after. Thank you.
My wife is being very well cared for. The summer barbecue was excellent.
I have experienced such love and care in this home. The staff are so friendly and always prepared to go to help with things. The home gives one a feeling of peace and harmony. It is very evident that the people living here are happy and cared for. My dad has been treated very well and it is so lovely to see him happy. This place has been so good for him, really very sorry to be leaving.
Mum arrived at Hampden Hall last March 2023 and settled in pretty quickly. She has always been treated with care and dignity especially the last few months when sadly she passed away on Monday. Thank you all so much for looking after Mum so well and providing me with so much support too.
