From when you step into reception, office staff up to the memory lane floor where my husband is one gets a good, warm, caring feeling from everyone. The caring staff are exceptional Smiles, attention, help whenever its needed. A nice warm, calm place. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived we were given such a lovely friendly welcome, and lots of smiles. We were very impressed with the bedrooms and the whole of the 'Home' was immaculate. The staff have been so kind and helpful always on hand a the touch of a button. The dining room, staff on hand to help and the food very varied and of a high standard. There is a Doctor on duty and problems are dealt with. The nurses are wonderful and kind.

I was over the moon when I my ex husband was to move into Chalfont lodge last year, My daughters worked so hard to secure a place for him in this delightful care home. Although I have been his ex for more than 20 years I continue to care about him and his well-being and I have seen 100% improvement in his physical and mental health since he has lived in Chalfont lodge. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the place is kept spotlessly clean and accessible. The activities are great and I'm also told that the cuisine is also. So a big well done!

Care after a hip replacement operation. Excellent care day and night. Physio essential to my recovery and was given timely effectively each weekday. When physio delayed management responded quickly. When I commented my room was noisy, management moved me right away. Good home good staff, good management. Great benefit from my stay for my recovery.

I am very grateful we had x6 weeks with our aunty. It gave my husband and I great comfort to know Aunty was safe, warm, fed and cared for and only 8 mins away so we could visit her each day. Thank you and keep doing what you all do. It does make a difference.

The management team made it very easy to be able to move my Aunty into the nursing home. The caring staff are incredible helping my aunt settle into her new home without distress. Chalfont Lodge staff have a passion for their work and care. Credit to the Barchester Group. My thanks to all the team for making my Aunts stay a pleasant peaceful one with laughter.

The premises are lovely and beautiful grounds. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. The food looks very nice and there is a lovely, varied menu.

My mother has improved hugely in the three weeks she has been in the home. She is actively enjoying the company of both the staff and other residents. The overall care is outstanding.

My father-in-law has received excellent, considerate care from a team of people that value human dignity and aim to provide the highest level of treatment to their residents. I was impressed with the care team after meeting them just once. Both myself and wife realised that my father-in-law was finally in a safe place. My father-in-law's mental and physical welfare improved dramatically over a short period of time and his ongoing needs are being addressed well.

The staff at the home are extremely pleasant and made my father very comfortable. We were very pleased with the care given.

My mum has been on Memory Lane for a few months now and I cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received there. The staff are all wonderful: patient, kind, professional. It is possible to build up a good relationship with the staff as I see familiar faces every time I visit. This is truly person-centred care. In particular, I feel Chalfont Lodge to be warm and welcoming. I can drop in at any time and I am always made to feel welcome. The home itself is spotlessly clean. The residents are well cared for and stimulated. My mother, in particular, enjoys the dancing and singing! Recently, there has been a mini Olympics, summer BBQ on the terrace and fabulous Diwali celebrations where some staff and residents wore traditional Indian clothes followed by a dance show and delicious Indian food.

My mother stayed until her passing yesterday. She was looked after with amazing care and genuine love from the staff. Barchester Chalfont Lodge Care Home has always been a lovely place to visit with wonderful refreshments and the beautiful lake and view and patio. My father was also cared for brilliantly when he came for a shorter stay. Mum also came to love all the activities on offer.
