View Full Details of Denham ManorOur family are so happy with Denham Manor. My mother-in-law has settled in so well thanks to the wonderful care provided. The Manager, his Deputy and the whole team have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome and happy. They encouraged us to take many personal items from her own home to make her room feel homely, which has really helped. We are looking forward to the summer so she can enjoy the extensive garden which we know will be beautiful. Thank you.
Mum went in for two weeks rest and care after a fall. Denham Manor was a clean, dry and happy place with plenty of room and light in common spaces. The staff seemed capable and willing. Mum always appeared well looked after. Little things like hearing aids not always put to charge overnight or telephone not to hand during the day, showed up to spoil the overall rating but the staff at Denham Manor do a good job in a difficult sector.
I cannot speak highly enough about Denham Manor. My mum has been a resident for nearly 6 weeks now and we know she's in the right place. From the beautiful room and gardens (which will be fab in the better weather), the amazing staff, lovely food, fantastic services and especially the care she is receiving. The Manager and his Deputy are outstanding, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. One request and it's done! Every single member of staff is friendly and happy, all genuinely loving their job. Thank you all!
I visit my friend weekly, have been for a year. I am always greeted with a heart warming smile from ever member of staff on duty at that time. I leave my dear friend knowing she is loved and above all 100% cared for. Thank you everyone.
As a family member of a resident, I cannot fault this care home. The care and compassion they have for the residents is the best you can ask for and it puts your mind at ease to have a relative in their care. When visiting the care home they are very welcoming and comforting and are always willing to help should you need it.
My mother required nursing care after my father's death. Despite my worry that she wouldn't settle in, she now calls Denham Manor her home. As soon as you enter Denham Manor the warmth and care of the staff became obvious. After twenty months my opinion hasn't altered. The building has undergone major refurbishment during this time and the enhanced facilities are appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Denham Manor if you are in a similar situation to my mother.
I can not thank the team at Denham Manor for their care of my friend. The care and compassion shown were exemplary. I was always made welcome and all questions were answered - nothing was too much trouble. You do an amazing job in what must be a very emotional environment. Thank you to everyone for making his short stay the best that you could do - you helped make things easier.
I cannot begin to thank the Manager and his marvellous team for all their help and kindness. From the moment I walked through the door I felt that Denham Manor was the place for us. My mother was adamant she would never be in a care home so it was a hard decision to make. The transition was seamless. I know that she was happy and safe there. There was a huge security in knowing the staff on a first-name basis. Not only did the home make the user feel comfortable but also the family, even our dog was a regular visitor. I will be forever grateful for the caring service they provided.
My friend came to Denham Manor for end-of-life care. She was treated with love, compassion and respect. The staff were always happy and cheerful and attentive to her. Visitors were always made very welcome with tea and cake and happy to talk about the care she was receiving. Her last weeks were as comfortable and the best they could be, as she said herself, I like it here. Thank you to all the staff at Denham Manor who go the extra mile for their family of residents.
Denham Manor has been the perfect choice for our family member. We are so grateful to the staff for the care, attention and support they have given. They have made a tricky transition as smooth as possible.
Denham Manor is a welcoming, well-organised care home in which my family member is safe, well-looked after and happy. The staff go above and beyond for the residents and families and this is apparent as soon as you walk in the door.
The staff are extremely friendly, caring and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble and they always go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome. My mother-in-law is at end-of-life care, but her quality of life has improved significantly whilst she has been at Denham Manor, she is engaging in conversation and enjoying her food again. This is very comforting for us as a family, knowing she is being well cared for and stimulated every day. Thank you to all the staff.
My father came to the home in May 2024. Ever since he's been at the home, he has been treated extremely well and with care from all the staff. They are very attentive and caring and I can't speak highly enough of the care and attention he receives. He's treated with respect from everyone on the staff and management and I feel very re-assured that his care and well-being is important to them. A great home with great people taking care of my father.
Denham Manor provided care for my father and I cannot put into words the exceptional love and care they provided in his last few weeks. An outstanding care home that goes above and beyond in everything they do. I cannot thank you enough for your support and kindness. I would highly recommend this care home! Thank you to the whole team.
The support and advice from the Manager and the team have been exceptional. The whole family are extremely happy with our decision to choose Denham Manor to care for our mum.
Since my dad came into the Denham Manor Care Home in May this year we have seen a complete transformation in his health and mental well-being. All of the staff here are so professional, but more importantly friendly, and compassionate, in extremely difficult circumstances. As a family member it has been humbling to be treated like one of your own for the first time in ages, my dad is happy and enjoying his life. Thank you so much, everyone.
Mum was transferred to Denham Manor for end-of-life care following a large stroke. From the moment she arrived, we were all made to feel comfortable, and there was never a time that we felt, that due to what we all knew would be a short stay for her, she wasn’t given as much care as anyone else. At what has been the most difficult time for us all, nothing was too much effort. The whole team took time to check on us, offer us tea and biscuits, and even sit and chat with us when mum was asleep, which shows the way in which they are dedicated to the care of the residents and families. As a senior nurse myself I would like to say that the entire team are a credit to the caring profession. We will never forget what everyone had done for mum to make her last few weeks comfortable and as best as they could be. This is a memory that will remain with us throughout the rest of our lives.
Denham Manor was able to take my mother into respite care at a few hour's notice. We found the staff to be very caring and helpful. The Manager was excellent throughout Mum's stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Denham Manor for your loved ones.
Looking for a care home? Look no further than Denham Manor, my father-in-law came out of hospital and was temporarily placed in a local care home, we had no experience about care homes so we thought it was ok then after a month we received a call my father-in-law on the move! Wow! On arrival I was offered a drink and a viewing like you were buying the place and was given a choice of 3 rooms by assistant manager. My father-in-law moved in and what an improvement in his health, the staff are brilliant caring dedicated people and nothing was ever too much trouble, the management is top draw, always on hand to talk to you about any concerns, when the time came we as a family were well looked after, my wife and brother-in-law and partner spent the last 72 hours alongside my father in law until he passed peacefully and were looked after by everyone as if we were family, that's the word! Family! Thank you Denham Manor.
We placed my mother-in-law at Denham Manor after a particularly awful experience in another home and are so very pleased we did. Getting it right the 2nd time was essential and after a search of 18 care homes, we settled on Denham Manor. So why Denham Manor? - We had found that some care homes we had visited treated our visit like a Formula 1 pit stop. “This is the lounge-this is the kitchen- bedroom - goodbye!”. But not at Denham Manor. We got an unhurried guided tour and then a sit down with the Deputy Manager, who spent a lot of time explaining everything and answering our numerous questions. One month on and we are delighted with our choice. My mother-in-law is happy and thriving. She left the last care home almost unconscious but is now regularly eating downstairs with others and joining in activities. The staff are the stars. Nothing is too much of a problem. They are competent, kind, positive, caring, open and fun. They look after the relatives as well as the residents.
