View Full Details of Tithe Farm Care HomeTithe Farm is warm, welcoming and homely. It is housed in a charming, historic building, surrounded by spacious, well-maintained gardens away from traffic. Residents are cared for by a well-established team of caring and committed staff, under the amiable and firm leadership of a skilled and professional manager. Activities and recreation are skilfully offered but privacy is also respected. After many years of living alone, after a brief stay in hospital, my father was transferred to Tithe Farm. He was immediately made to feel at home. He has now been there 10 months and his increasing needs are met with dignity and compassion. If, rarely, there is any concern, we know we can discuss with ease and know that appropriate action will be taken. It would be difficult to imagine anywhere better for Dad to be at this stage of his long life.
I live in Germany and could only observe my brother enjoying his 80th birthday via all the pictures and scenes being sent to me. I must honestly say that my brother had a great Birthday with all his friends and family with him despite his terrible health condition. I would like to say a great big thank you to his family and all the great staff at Tithe Farm for taking such great care of my brother and letting him celebrate despite his awful condition. God Bless you all and many thanks!
We were made very welcome. Noticed all the residents were clean and comfortable. Entertainment was very good. Nice garden for the residents to enjoy. Residents in their rooms seemed to be happy. Residents' families were encouraged to help their loved ones.
Tithe Farm is a home-from-home. The management, carers, nurses and auxiliaries are all so friendly and supportive. My husband is very settled and feels safe and well looked after. There are lots of activities organised, his birthday was celebrated with lots of friends. Thanks to Tithe Farm for the entertainment and catering. Peace of mind too for the family that he's safe when we're not around. Thank you for your care.
We are always made to feel welcome at the care home and the staff are very friendly. The residents that we speak to at social occasions say they are happy and feel well cared for. There is a good homely atmosphere at Tithe Farm - we enjoy our visits.
For the last year, Tithe Farm have welcomed and treated Dad with compassion and respect. This is an exceptional place with a care team that really know their residents and deliver on the little things as well as the big things. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place that truly treats my Dad as part of the family.
Friendly staff who always make you welcome when I come there on my visits.
My mum is very happy at Tithe Farm, She has people to talk to, music to sing to, good food, good staff. Very friendly atmosphere, Mum feels quite at home and I am very sure she will enjoy her time here.
Always welcoming and friendly, it's a pleasure to visit. Many thanks.
On entering Tithe Farm I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, my nan and I could not have been more welcomed. Nan has been so happy with all the attention and professionalism of all the staff. Everything was of great standard and made the transition very easy to deal with.
Staff are caring and friendly. Also the place is clean and tidy.
My dad has been a resident at Tithe Farm for four months and has settled in very well. The staff are very well trained in managing my dad's dementia needs. My family and I have great peace of mind knowing he is in such a nice care home with kind, friendly and compassionate staff. Thank you.
My Brother has been here for 4 years and every time we visit he seems happy and content. He never moans or complains about anything. The staff are very friendly and it always seems a very happy place to be.
Since arriving at the care home in March Mum has been treated extremely kindly by all who work there. She appreciates not only the lovely carers and nurses but also the kitchen staff, entertainment lady, cleaners, laundry ladies and the odd-job man. It feels like a well-run home by the manager and the whole team makes it a friendly homely place for both Mum to live and for visitors to come to see her.
Excellent: Staff, care, nice peaceful grounds Good: Room was a tad smaller compared to the previous place, tidy and clean. Food didn't look nice (don't know about taste, but I guess okay) Bad: Nothing
My mother aged 87 was a resident at Tithe Farm for six and a half weeks, from 16th February to 2nd April 2024. I say resident rather than patient because that's how she felt, part of an extended family, even though she was dealing with cruel terminal illness. She was truly cared for, with observant, responsive, kind, respectful, empathetic professionalism. 100% of the entire team carried my mother as lightly as possible in her journey to her death - Cleaners, Chefs, Maintenance, Management, Carers, GPs and Nurses. She commented to me that when she was alone with more than one member of staff they always talked to her, looked at her, not over her to each other, but always to her, engaged with her. Tithe are open and welcoming to visitors and I was able to be with her whenever she wanted, even into the night and once throughout the night. The team carried me too in fact. Thank you for the respect, dignity, nourishment and medical excellence. You kept our mother safe to the very end.
My mother has now been a resident at Tithe Farm for three and a half years and I have nothing but praise for the whole team. The care that Mum receives can only come from genuine and dedicated staff and they all treat her as if she is part of their family. My visits to see Mum are always so enjoyable, knowing that all her needs are more than satisfied, both in a medical and compassionate way and it's also such a pleasure to see the staff during my visits; they always make me feel like I'm also a part of their extended family! Tithe Farm is how all care homes should be; I cannot thank them enough for looking after the most precious person in my life.
There are two nurses who are so kind I am so happy my mum is being cared for so well.
Whenever I visit my friend, I am always welcomed by all staff with a smile and a feeling that they are pleased to see me. The staff cannot do enough to make my friend's stay as pleasant and normal as possible. My friend has a lovely room with a great view of the grounds. She has bird feeders all around her area. Her room is furnished with many pictures and furniture from her house. She also has a fridge and orders her own food from the supermarket which gets delivered directly to her room. Outstanding!
All the staff and management have been absolutely wonderful with mum. Nothing is a problem when she needs anything. Everyone is always friendly polite and well mannered and they take great care of mum. She is eating more than she has in years so the food is clearly excellent. I am relieved every time I leave that she is in good hands. I would recommend this care home to anyone. They take the word 'Care' very seriously.
