View Full Details of Milton Court Care Home - Avery HealthcareMy Uncle was admitted to Milton Court as palliative care only. The care he received there was amazing and every member of staff treated him with empathy and dignity and made his last days as comfortable as possible. The nurses were excellent, caring and very supportive towards my Uncle and us family members. When he passed away, the compassion shown by every member of staff was lovely and the empathy shown stood out to us all. The guard of honour, when Uncle was leaving, was something we will never forget and was a fitting last memory of his stay there. We were always made welcome, and the Home Manager showed great understanding of our suffering at the loss of our loved one. We will miss visiting the home, where we were treated so well, and everyone was so welcoming. Thank you to you all for everything you did for Uncle and all of us too, much appreciated. Keep up the good work everyone, a credit to your profession.
The staff at Milton Court are amazing. My stepdad had dementia and became bedbound, he stopped eating and drinking. The staff offered him whatever he wanted to try to get him to eat and drink something. They all took so much care to keep him happy and comfortable. When he passed away suddenly, all the staff were so kind to me and my sister and my husband. All the staff are amazing. I could not ask for better care for my stepdad. If it wasn't for the staff at Milton Court I don't think my stepdad would have lasted as long as he did. So I send them all a very huge thank you for being so kind and supportive to me, and my husband and sister.
We looked at several care homes and Milton Court was the only one recommended to us. A friend's aunt had been a resident and was very happy, so that inspired us with confidence. The staff are kind, caring and always friendly. Sadly my mum has declined over the years but her care has been carefully adapted, even by providing special food for her. We are very happy with our choice of care home.
The staff, every time/interaction since my Mum moved in have been lovely, caring, friendly, helpful and warm. We have not met anyone who isn't! The cleanliness is wonderful too and to have peace of mind too for the family that my Mum is safe and being cared for is lovely. It would be good to maybe have a few more physical exercises, more walking etc.
My mum has been in the home now for nine months and I'm still so happy with the care that she receives every day. The staff here are all so lovely, kind and caring. They treat my mum with kindness and respect too as well as us, her family. Thank you all so much for looking after my mum like you all do. My mum is settled and happy and for us as her family that is all we can ask for. Thank you so much for everything that you are all doing.
I find the staff very kind and caring. His room is very nice, and he enjoys all his food.
Excellent care home with excellent, caring staff. I have no problem recommending this care home to everyone.
An excellent care centre that provided wonderful care for my mother for over six years until her death at almost 106 years of age. Considerable, professional team of friendly, attentive staff who ensured safety throughout the difficult Covid period. Highly recommend as a quality home in very comfortable surroundings.
The home cared for my Mother for eight weeks. She was on an end of life care. My mother was cared for exceptionally well during her stay. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help in times of need. The canteen and food were good and plentiful, although my mother couldn't eat solids. The staff serviced her with vegetable purees. The home and the room were kept very clean and tidy. The management was never too busy to answer any queries we had and kept us fully informed of my mother's situation and health. A very big thank you!
The staff looked after my sister with love and care and made the last few years very happy here. The family could not have wished for more for her. At the end of her life, we were so pleased to see her carers and management not only at the church but also putting on a reception at the home in celebration of her wonderful life. We thank you all.
The resident's wake in the butterfly room was a beautiful, sensitive and lovely experience. Customer service was wonderful - couldn't thank you enough.
My sister loved being the boss here (or so she thought!) All the staff are so caring and always helpful. Close contact with the residents has always been great, good contact with staff and loving all around. Love to all the staff that looked after her, who we all loved.
We contacted Milton Court Care Home for urgent respite care for my father who had had a bad fall. They couldn't have been more helpful or supportive. Staff showed me around, met my father and when he agreed to move in made his stay comfortable and welcoming. He grew stronger and more confident during his stay due to the care and dignity shown by the staff. He is now back home. Thank you to everyone.
In my professional opinion, Milton Court Care Home management and staff are 5 stars. They are attentive, and caring and have the resident's welfare and happiness at the core of their culture and values. My mother is so pleased to be a resident at Milton Court and loves the staff and residents.
Recent changes in the care home have ensured a significant improvement in the standards of care. Before these changes, there weren't sufficient staff on duty and the level of cleaning was appalling. If my mother had been in better health I would have removed her from the home. I look forward to the continuous improvement.
Milton Court Care Home has flourished under new (temporary) management. All of the core values have been reinstated. It is now a safe and happy environment for my mum to be in. The nursing staff and carers are respectful, show empathy and meet the needs of the residents.
My friend was here from the end of June 2022 to February 2023. As well as dementia she was very ill. The care, kindness, and respect as well her dignity being respected was given by the staff with love and compassion. Such a comfortable and homely place. For me, my friend had the best care.
Lovely friendly welcome and very homely. My Grandma was happy and well looked after. The staff were professional and approachable nothing too much trouble. The home was very safe and secure. All areas I visited were tidy and spotless.
Fantastic care home. My nan suffers from Dementia and was being cared for at home by my mum until it became too much for her. My Nan requires 24/7 supervision as she has increasingly become nocturnal. The facilities are first class, it is nice and homely, and the staff are wonderful with her. I would recommend this care home to anybody with an elderly relative in need.
All the staff seem very caring and attentive and take great pains to ensure that Dad is safe, happy and healthy. They always offer him the chance to join in activities, without ever forcing him. He enjoys the food very much, and really appreciates the care he receives. Thank you!
